
Watch: 'Fantastic Four' teaser introduces H.E.R.B.I.E. robot
June 16 (UPI) -- Marvel Entertainment is teasing Fantastic Four: First Steps by introducing a new character.
H.E.R.B.I.E. is introduced as the robot that lends "a helping hand" to the Fantastic Four. The character is voiced by Matthew Wood.
"The state-of-the-art personal assistant that does everything without a single complaint, and when trouble appears, he's a valuable member of the team," a voice says in the clip.
H.E.R.B.I.E. is shown protecting a newborn baby, fixing dinner, and assembling a crib.
The Fantastic Four stars Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Thing, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch and Julia Garner as the Silver Surfer.
The film arrives in theaters July 25.

Mirren portrays Elizabeth, a retired spy, and member of the titular club. Mirren, former psychiatrist Ibrahim (Ben KIngsley), ex-union activist Ron (Pierce Brosnan) and former nurse Joyce (Celia Imrie) solve cold cases in their spare time, until a murder prompts them to solve "a real case." "What we need is a man, or a woman, on the inside," Ibrahim says in the trailer released Thursday. Their interest in the case seems to put the group in danger, however. Mirren receives flowers with a note telling her to "back off" in the trailer. The film is directed by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's Chris Columbus. Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays, Henry Lloyd -Hughes, Tom Ellis, Jonathan Pryce, David Tennant, Paul Freeman, Geoff Bell, Richard E. Grant and Ingrid Oliver also star. The preview features a neon red rose with Doja Cat's name written in cursive along the stem. The track will appear on her upcoming, "pop-driven" album, Vie, which is due sometime in the fall, Billboard reports. The songstress previously shared on X that she had finished the album. "L'album est complete," her post reads in French. Her fans shared their excitement in the comments. "Album of the decade is coming," one social media user wrote. Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, the follow-up to The Office is set to premiere on Sept. 4. Thursday's 90-second preview shows Domhnall Gleeson as Ned Sampson, the new editor-in-chief of a struggling Ohio newspaper. "It sucks," Sampson assesses the local publication. "But we're going to make it better." The ensemble also includes Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, Tim Key, and Oscar Nuñez. "The Paper follows the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch in the Emmy Award-winning series, The Office, as they find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it," the streaming service said.
