Asus launches 2025 ROG Strix Scar, Strix, Zephyrus and Flow gaming laptops with Intel and AMD processors in India
Asus on Friday (May 1, 2025) launched the 2025 line up of Republic of Gamers (ROG) laptops in India featuring ROG Strix Scar 16/18, ROG Strix G16, ROG Zephyrus G16, ROG Zephyrus G14, and the ROG Flow Z13, with AI-accelerated capabilities, for gaming enthusiasts, casual gamers, and professionals.
ROG Strix Scar 16/18
The ROG Strix Scar 16/18 comes with Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor, up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM, and up to 2TB SSD. For cooling, they have a vapor chamber and tri-fan.
They come with SSD Q-latch and AniMe Vision LED lid and 360° RGB lightbar. The laptops have a 240 Hz WQXGA Mini-LED ROG Nebula HDR display with 3ms response and 1200 nits brightness.
The ROG Strix Scar 16/18 series starts at ₹3,79,990 and ₹4,49,990, respectively.
ROG Strix G16
Strix G16 runs on Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and up to Nvidia RTX 5070Ti GPU backed by 32 GB DDR5 RAM and 1 TB SSD. It also has Q-latch system for the SSD slots, vapor chamber cooling.
Its 16-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula display hits 240 Hz with 100% DCI-P3 colour, powered by DLSS 4.0, Dynamic Boost, and Advanced Optimus.
The Strix G16 (2025) will be made available with the RTX 5080 variant in limited quantities for consumers who would like a minimalistic Strix G design.

ROG Flow Z13
The Flow Z13 is a 2-in-1 gaming machine with the AMD Ryzen AI Max 390 processor and 50 TOPs AI NPU performance, 32GB LPDDR5X unified RAM running in quad channel configuration, 1 TB SSD, and Wi-Fi 7, redesigned vapor chamber and dual 2nd gen Arc Flow fans.
It has a 13.4-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula touchscreen with 180 Hz and 3ms response and 100% DCI-P3 colour, a 170° kickstand, and a detachable RGB keyboard.
The new Flow Z13 starts at ₹1,99,990.
ROG Zephyrus G16
The Zephyrus G16 uses Intel Core Ultra 9 285H CPU and Nvidia RTX 5080 GPU, up to 32 GB LPDDR5X RAM, 2 TB SSD. It has a 16-inch 2.5K OLED screen offering a 240 Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time, VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 support.
The Zephyrus G16 starts at ₹3,59,990.
ROG Zephyrus G14
Zephyrus G14 runs AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU and Nvidia RTX 5070Ti GPU, up to 32GB RAM, 120W max GPU power. It has a 14-inch 3K OLED Nebula Display with 120 Hz refresh and factory-calibrated colours.

Design & Build Right out of the box, the ExpertBook P3 shouts 'business-ready.' It's got that clean, professional look with its all-aluminium build that feels premium yet purpose-driven. Weighing just 1.42 kg and measuring 18mm thick, it fits snugly into a backpack and doesn't weigh you down during a commute or flight. Asus also adds a light charger, which makes travelling with this laptop even more hassle-free. The finishing is anti-fouling and wear-resistant, promising long-term durability without sacrificing aesthetic charm. Asus has clearly put thought into the layout, especially the ports. The company smartly clusters most I/O ports toward the rear half of the chassis, leaving the front clean and unobstructed—ideal for right-handed mouse users. For professionals often working without an external mouse, this touchpad delivers reliable, responsive input every time. Performance Under the hood, the ExpertBook P3 is powered by Intel's 13th Gen H-series processors, going up to Core i7-13620H with a 40W thermal design, paired with up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and dual PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. On paper and in practice, that's plenty of muscle for heavy multitasking, virtualisation, and business apps. The battery seems to drain fast too, which was surprising to see. To help ease it, the company has added a fast-charging feature that can charge the laptop from 5% to 60% in under 49 minutes, which is convenient during quick breaks. And the universal USB-C charging means you can top up from a power bank or even airplane charging ports. Still, a bit more battery stamina would've been the cherry on top. Verdict Coming back to the question posed in the beginning—does the Asus ExpertBook P3 deliver on its promise of performance, security, and portability for professionals? Absolutely. The laptop is thoughtfully engineered for business users who need a blend of durability, security, and modern features, without the premium pricing of flagship enterprise laptops. There are a few rough edges— like speaker placement and average battery life— but they don't overshadow the strengths. For freelancers, SMBs, and professionals who spend equal time in meetings, airports, and coffee shops, the ExpertBook P3 makes a compelling case as a smart, durable, and AI-ready workhorse.
