Coming Soon: Al Hallab to Reveal a Striking Relocated Branch Inside Mall of the Emirates
Al Hallab, a cherished name in Lebanese dining, is relocating inside Mall of the Emirates this July as it prepares to unveil a stunning new design and refreshed experience on Level 2, near VOX Cinemas.
Known for its rich heritage, warm hospitality, and authentic cuisine, the reimagined Al Hallab branch is set to be a beautiful fusion of modern elegance and timeless Lebanese charm. The existing Al Hallab location on Level 1 of Mall of the Emirates remains open and fully operational throughout the transition, ensuring guests can continue to enjoy their favourite dishes until the new space opens its doors in mid-July.
A Contemporary Take on Tradition
Guests will be welcomed into an inviting atmosphere that evokes both comfort and contemporary flair. The larger relocated branch will feature an elegant indoor terrace, an open kitchen design, and modern finishes, with vibrant colorful tiles, expanded greenery, and a larger sweets display that pays tribute to Al Hallab's origins as a beloved Lebanese pâtisserie.
Brought to life by MK Design, the space prominently features the Phoenician Flower, a key cultural motif, as well as evocative images of Lebanon, blending tradition and heritage with a fresh, contemporary look.
A Legacy Reimagined
Founded in 1881 in Tripoli, Lebanon, Al Hallab began as a family-run bakeshop, delighting generations with handcrafted sweets and heartfelt hospitality. Over the decades, it has become a landmark for artists, aristocrats, and food lovers.
'Every detail in our relocated branch tells a story, from the Phoenician Flower motif to the open kitchen and artwork. We wanted to create something beautiful and welcoming, where people can feel the warmth of Al Hallab's heritage in a space that feels both timeless and current,' says Rami Al Hallab, fifth-generation owner and chef at Al Hallab.
With a seating capacity of 180 guests, the Mall of the Emirates Level 2 location is set to become a must-visit destination for lovers of Lebanese cuisine, whether for a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a quick stop at the iconic sweets counter. Al Hallab invites everyone to experience the next chapter of its legacy, where every visit promises comfort, flavor, and a deep sense of home.

SKIMS is opening a physical store in Dubai
This is exciting, first a Primark, then an Ulta Beauty and now there's a new development in international stores arriving to Dubai. SKIMS is opening a physical store in Dubai, specifically in the Mall of the Emirates. The American clothing and swimwear brand is making its first physical store debut in the country. Until now, the brand was primarily available through shopping website Ounass, under the Al Tayer Group. Al Tayer Group are the powerhouse behind huge brands in the UAE such as Harvey Nichols, Prada, Bloomingdales and more. SKIMS is famously co-owned by Kim Kardashian and promotes a body positive outlook. The brand was originally founded in 2019 and many products have gone viral on social media since. You can now try them before you buy them in store in the Mall of the Emirates. From iconic sculpting bodysuits to comfy loungewear, we're expecting the store to have a full range of products. While there's been no formal announcement, our What's On sources have spotted boards up in the mall with the unmistakeable SKIMS logo and even though we're not sure exactly when it will open, we're thinking it's soon. Now Al Tayer is helping to bring the brick-and-mortar version of SKIMS to the UAE. Images: Instagram > Sign up for FREE to get exclusive updates that you are interested in
