Jennifer Love Hewitt Urges Fans To Watch 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' Credits
Naturally, it's unknown what exactly will happen during the credits for the sequel, but Hewitt teases quite a few possibilities while speaking with Extra. Whatever the case may be, it sounds like fans will certainly find it worthwhile if they manage to stay for the credits and see what director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson has planned.
'Don't miss the credits,' Hewitt begins.
'It could be a popcorn moment, it could be a death, or it could just be something really fun – but don't miss it.'
While Hewitt doesn't fully reveal what will happen, it sounds like I Know What You Did Last Summer will be taking full advantage of the credits to include a post-credits scene worth seeing. Whether or not it's something played for laughs or a proper teaser for another sequel remains to be revealed. Of course, with the film's release coming this month, fans won't have long to wait to find out.
In addition to Hewitt and Prinze, the film also stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Sarah Pidgeon. Other cast members include Gabbriette Bechtel, Billy Campbell, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung, and Nicholas Alexander Chavez.
Robinson directed the film from a screenplay she co-wrote with Sam Lansky, based on a story Robinson co-created with Leah McKendrick.
I Know What You Did Last Summer will hit theaters on July 18, 2025. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates regarding the follow-up as we have them.

Jennifer Lopez has a message for those wondering if she really uses her skincare line
As she sings on 'I'm Real,' Jennifer Lopez assures you what you see is what you get when it comes to her skin. The actress and singer answered questions from followers in a video posted on her JLo Beauty Skincare account. Lopez addressed some comments, including praise for her moisturizer for feeling 'like silk' and a complaint that her brand is too expensive. But it was the question, 'Do you use this every day or just when the cameras are on?' which tickled Lopez. 'That's funny because I'm standing in my actual bathroom right now,' she said. 'No, I use it. I use it every day.' Lopez is not new to this beauty game. She launched JLo Beauty in 2021. Last year, she shared with Who What Where an important part of her routine. 'I've worn sunscreen every day since my early 20s, and I really, truly believe it is the key to keeping youthful-looking skin,' she said at the time. In the recently shared video, Lopez said another question she gets a lot is, 'Will this make me look like J. Lo?' Sorry, people. While the products may help Lopez look like 'the best version' of herself, she kept it real and encouraged customers to aim for the best version of themselves.

Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath singer and godfather of heavy metal, dies at 76 just weeks after farewell show
Ozzy Osbourne, the hellraising frontman of Black Sabbath and reality TV star, has died aged 76. The news was confirmed via the Associated Press on Tuesday, who included a statement from the Osbourne family: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.' Famed for his outrageous antics on stage, including biting the head off a bat, as well as substance abuse, Osbourne was respected by the rock establishment and reviled by the religious right, who believed him to be a devil-worshipper. In later life he had a second career playing himself in the popular TV show 'The Osbournes,' a fly-on-the-wall family formula later maximized by the Kardashians. This is a developing story.
