Apple Alert notifies Wisconsin authorities of crash, drone used to find vehicle off road
Just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, first responders with the Kansasville Fire and Rescue Department say they got an Apple automated crash notification alerting them to a crash near the intersection of STH 142 and 224th Avenue in Brighton.
Deputies with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office immediately responded but were not able to find the vehicle right away. Using a thermal-imaging drone, the car was found roughly 50 feet off the roadway and hidden in thick brush and multiple trees.
GBPD searching for shooting suspect, victim left with life-threatening injuries
First aid was immediately given to the driver before he was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Kenosha County Sheriff's Office Deputies are investigating the cause of the crash. No additional details were provided.
