Grand Theft Auto: Vice City fans are abuzz with excitement following the discovery of what is claimed to be the iconic Tommy Vercetti mansion in the initial GTA 6 trailer. In a fleeting flyover shot, a seaside estate with a striking similarity to the original Vercetti Estate stood out for viewers, fueling speculations that Rockstar Games could have planted an
Easter egg
for loyal fans.
Fans think Vercetti's mansion appears in GTA 6 trailer
The moment in question comes during a scenic flyover shot that showcases the vibrant Vice City skyline. Sharp-eyed fans quickly pointed out a luxurious waterfront mansion with a private dock, tiled roof, and Mediterranean-style architecture, all signature features of Tommy Vercetti's estate from GTA: Vice City.
The visual resemblance and placement of the estate, resembling Vice City's Starfish Island, have led many to believe that Rockstar included the mansion on purpose as a reference.
Despite slight differences in proportion and design, the overall look is close enough to the classic safehouse in the 2002 installment.

Although Rockstar has not officially confirmed the mansion's identity, fans believe it could be a direct recreation, a nostalgic Easter egg, or a newly imagined location within GTA 6. Some also wonder if it might be revamped for a new character as a nod to Vercetti without officially stating that he will return.
Community reactions and what it may mean for Vice City's legacy
Theories quickly spread across Reddit and YouTube, with breakdown videos highlighting the mansion's design and placement. One user commented,
'If this is Vercetti's mansion, it's the clearest sign yet that GTA 6 will honor Vice City's legacy.'
Others see it as proof that Rockstar is embracing the nostalgia of its earlier titles while building a modern narrative around new protagonists.
Some are still unconvinced, though, highlighting minute adjustments to the structure's design and cautioning that it might be an inspired reference or a coincidence and not a direct connection to Tommy.
Whether it's a faithful recreation or a visual tribute, the appearance of a mansion so reminiscent of Tommy Vercetti's estate has reignited excitement for longtime fans. While its exact role in GTA 6 remains uncertain, the trailer has made one thing clear, Rockstar hasn't forgotten the legacy of Vice City.

All that glitters: Trump revamps White House with maximalist touch; not everyone's loving it

There is a lot going on in the White House. We are not referring to the bevy of international leaders who have descended upon the US president's official workplace, but to the bold, maximalist makeover transforming its interiors. Once defined by sedate décor and understated carvings, the interiors now gleam with gold flourishes, bold artworks, and a decidedly 'extra' vibe. The Oval Office in the White House has been revamped to include gold touches These décor changes can be attributed to its current resident – US President Donald Trump – who is leaving his own mark upon the White House. All that glitters at the White House It is not unusual for presidents to make decor changes on entering the White House, according to a report in Business Insider. Trump, in his second term in office, seems to be incorporating his love for gold into the Oval Office. 'Trump has revamped the Oval Office by splashing the room in gold, from the stars surrounding the presidential seal on the ceiling to gold statues on the fireplace to the mantel itself,' noted columnist David Smith in a piece for The Guardian. Before-and-after pics shared online show the contrast. There are now gold-colored appliqués on the fireplace. The walls showcase more artwork – all in ornate frames. The mirrors are gilded and Rococo-style flourishes abound across the president's official residence and workplace. And that is not all. Trump is also planning to add a massive new $200 million, 90,000-square-foot state ballroom to the White House for official receptions. Décor proves divisive Not everyone, however, is a fan of the changes that Donald Trump has made to the Oval Office. One critic of the US president compared the Oval Office to a Vegas buffet lobby. 'Please. Vegas buffet lobbies aren't that tacky,' another said in response. 'It's hideous,' an X user wrote. 'He has no class. It looks cheap,' another added. A third person called it 'so tacky'.

Real-life police car behind GTA 6 that was '3D scanned directly' by Rockstar Games goes up for auction; bids reach $3250

As the anticipation of GTA 6 increases among fans, a real-life police car that was "3D scanned directly" and actually used by Rockstar Games for the upcoming title has been put up for auction. Despite its unique connection to the highly anticipated game, the current highest bid stands at only $3250 (Rs 270,000), drawing attention from fans and collectors alike who see it as a rare piece of gaming memorabilia. Real-world cars bring GTA 6 to life: 2013 Chevrolet Caprice up for auction If you were impressed by the lifelike horses in Red Dead Redemption 2, the cars in GTA take realism to the next level. Rockstar Games reportedly modelled their vehicles using actual cars, like the 2013 Chevrolet Caprice now up for auction. Starting at just $10 (Rs 830), the current bid had reached $3250 (Rs 270,000). This car isn't just any vehicle; it closely resembles the fictional Vice City police cars featured in the highly anticipated GTA 6, blending real-world authenticity with gaming imagination. A look at the GTA 6 car auction listing According to Gaming Radar, the auction listing explains, "This car is one of the actual used models for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 video game and was 3D scanned directly into the game, meaning you'll be able to drive this exact car in the game." Additionally, in fact, the car has been driven before and is entirely safe to use. That means one lucky person can cruise about in a GTA 6 car. "This car was driven to promote the new GTA 6 game, releasing in 2025," as the details on the auction's host website outline. "[The] car is completely street legal and complies with all legal regulations for driving a 'replica' police car. [It] has all of the police parts, including the light bar, siren, brush guard, spotlights on either side, and other details." Fans react to the GTA 6 car auction listing As soon as the update surfaced on social media, it grabbed attention. One said, "Some millionaire that happens to be a GTA fan is going to buy it for millions..." "Lately they've been a little more spot on with details on cars, but some older cars are 2 different car models in one. Like the 190z, it's the 240z with the 2000gt rear end. I recently discovered that when I was complaining about the 190z's rear end and someone told me that and now I don't hate it as much 😂," another added.

Thama hidden gems: Moments you might have missed in Ayushmaan-Rashmika's film teaser

'Thama' might very well be our own desi 'Twilight'. The makers unveiled the film's much-awaited teaser that is set to release this Diwali. With Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna leading the cast, this romantic horror promises to be the next big addition to Dinesh Vijan's expanding horror-comedy universe. Here's a look at the twists and hidden gems in the teaser that you may have 'bloody love story' with a fiery RashmikaCalled a 'bloody love story', 'Thama' is far from an ordinary affair. It's eerie, romantic, and there are sharp fangs involved, quite literally. While early buzz suggests Ayushmann plays a vampire, the teaser drops a twist. Rashmika may actually be the true-blue blood-sucking predator. In one standout moment, she grabs Ayushmann's hand just as he's about to fall off a building, showing that she's the stronger one, which is a surprising twist from what we usually see in this kind of story. The teaser begins with Ayushmann's voice-over asking Rashmika, "Reh paogi mere bina sau saal tak (Will you be able to live without me for 100 years), to which she says, "Sau saal kya ek pal ke liye bhi nahi (Not even for a moment)." This exchange suggests that Ayushmann's character may have died and will be reborn a century later as Alok and reunite with Tadaka aka Rashmika. Ayushmann Khurrana is tossed around by a bear in 'Thama' teaser. Rashmika's character comes across as fierce, powerful, and perhaps more dangerous than her male counterpart. Her chemistry with Ayushmann is both palpable and deadly (did you notice the way she looks at him in the beginning of the teaser?). The teaser even teases a passionate kiss between the vampires, and mystery figuresThere are several moments packed into the teaser that will get the fans intrigued. In one scene, Ayushmann is tossed around by a ferocious bear, suggesting his character may not be a vampire at all, but rather an ordinary man. Another shot shows the silhouette of a shackled figure, believed to be Nawazuddin Siddiqui. He appears in his full glory at the fag-end of the teaser. The actor plays Yakshasan - Andhere ka Badshah (King of Darkness), whose attire hints that he belongs to the vampire cameos and dance anthemsadvertisementThough Varun Dhawan doesn't appear in the teaser, the 'Bhediya' star has been confirmed for a guest appearance. Given the shared universe setup, fans can expect clever crossovers and Easter eggs linking 'Thama' with other films in the is expected to play a major role, much like in 'Stree 2', which delivered chartbusters like 'Aaj Ki Raat' and 'Aayi Nai'. If the former had Tamannaah Bhatia and Shraddha Kapoor grooving to the chartbusters, this time, audiences can look forward to energetic tracks featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Malaika Arora. Malaika Arora will be seen in a dance number in 'Thama'. The supporting cast includes Panchayat's Faisal Malik (aka Prahlad Cha) and veteran actor Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles, though their characters remain under wraps. With sleek visuals, unexpected turns, and interesting twists, Thama is expected to put a fresh spin on the vampire genre, one Bollywood has rarely explored at this scale. Will it live up to the hype and become the desi Twilight? Audiences will have their answer this Diwali.- Ends
