Known for her signature vintage style and porcelain skin, Dita shares the tips and tricks that have helped her maintain her youthful glow, proving that age is truly just a number.
Speaking on the Dumb Blonde Podcast, which is hosted by Bunnie Xo, Dita Von Teese revealed the secret to her 'flawless' looking skin.
She explained that her top priority is using sunscreen - and 'tons' of it.
Beauty experts have long advised people to wear sunscreen daily, even in the winter, as it helps protect the skin from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation, a major contributor to premature skin ageing.
This includes wrinkles, fine lines, sunspots, and loss of elasticity.
But that's not her only tip.
The dancer also urges people to sleep on their back.
She said: 'I wish somebody would have told me when I was young, like how good it is for you to sleep on your back.
'The last four years, I taught myself to sleep on my back and it has worked miracles.'
She explained that if you are a side sleeper, you may notice waking up with lines on your face, adding: 'It's from sleeping with your face on the pillow.'
As Dita Von Teese returns to burlesque dancing at 51, why the stars will always rely on Vegas to rake in millions
Dita described her sleeping position, saying she will lay down 'like a zombie', close her eyes, and sleep with her palms up.
When Bunnie Xo asked how she manages not to move during the night, Dita explained: 'Sometimes I do, but I catch myself. I'm like a light sleeper.
'I can totally catch myself when I'm in a light [sleep].
'I've actually gotten good.'
She concluded by saying: 'Listen, you know, it's all fun and games until you start realising the collagen's really going and you're like, 'Oh, those marks on my face from my sunglasses, which I know are on my face now. They'll stay all day.''

Kneecap bring surprise guest on stage at Green Man
Kneecap bring surprise guest on stage at Green Man Irish rap trio Kneecap addressed the BBC's decision not to live stream their Glastonbury Festival set as they welcomed Welsh cafe owner Helen Wilson on stage at Green Man The trio performed at this year's Green Man festival in Bannau Brycheiniog (Image: Parri Thomas - @photo_parri) Irish rap trio Kneecap launched a scathing attack on the BBC during their Green Man Festival performance on Thursday evening, with the group chanting "f*** the BBC". The band slammed the broadcaster after it refused to air their Glastonbury Festival set live. Throughout their politically-charged show at the festival, the Belfast-based group also spoke about their continued backing for Palestine and band member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh's forthcoming court date. Thousands of festival-goers packed their Far Out stage performance, with crowds overflowing beyond the venue. The trio also brought Helen Wilson onto the stage - the Welsh café proprietor who livestreamed their Glastonbury appearance on TikTok to millions of viewers. The band hailed Helen as their "hero". "Diolch," they said to the Green Man audience. "It's not a bad crowd for our first time playing in a festival in Wales.", they went on: "We recently played Glastonbury and the BBC wouldn't live stream our set. F*** the BBC." They continued: "So the BBC, they said that they wouldn't show Kneecap live... but there was one woman. Do you know who we are talking about?". Article continues below "There was one hero who decided to TikTok live our gig, and she's from Wales. Can we have a massive round of applause for Helen?". The café owner appeared alongside the trio on stage and was spotted embracing band member Móglaí Bap as the audience erupted in cheers. In June, demands emerged to cancel their Glastonbury appearance, with Prime Minister Keir Starmer declaring the planned performance at Worthy Farm was not "appropriate", following charges against band member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, known as Mo Chara, for a terror offence related to displaying a Hezbollah-supporting flag during a 2024 gig. Mo Chara has rejected the allegations, branding the terror offence charge a "political" manoeuvre intended to "silence" the group. Festival organisers at Glastonbury declined to axe the trio's slot on the West Holts stage. The BBC opted against live streaming their set, though they subsequently made a largely uncut version available on BBC iPlayer. The BBC stated at the time: "Whilst the BBC doesn't ban artists, our plans ensure that our programming meets our editorial guidelines. "We don't always live stream every act from the main stages and look to make an on-demand version of Kneecap's performance available on our digital platforms, alongside more than 90 other sets." During their appearance on the Far Out stage at Green Man Festival, the band also referenced Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh's forthcoming court date, mentioning he would return to court "next Wednesday", apparently confirming the hearing would occur on Wednesday, August 20. On stage, the rapper declared his intention to challenge the British government in court once again, stating: "to beat the British government in their own court for the second time". He further explained: "they stole our funding two years ago, and we went to court and we won," referring to the band's previous legal victory against current Conservative party leader Kemi Badenoch, who had blocked an arts grant to the band in 2023. Liam added: "And this time, we are going back to their court and we're going to beat them again." The band revealed that it was their debut performance at a Welsh festival, referring to the audience as their "Celtic brothers". They expressed: "Celtic brothers have to stand together as we can't trust the British government". The band later emphasised the importance of "international solidarity" in the current times. "We are from west Belfast and Derry. Places that know colonialism all too well, as you know yourselves," they shared with the crowd. The band pledged to continue speaking out about Palestine, describing the situation as a genocide and leading the crowd in a "Free, Free Palestine" chant. Article continues below Green Man Festival is set to wrap up on Sunday, August 17. This year's Bannau Brycheiniog event will feature performances from the likes of Underworld, Wet Leg, CMAT, Perfume Genius, John Grant, Wunderhorse, Gwenno and English Teacher.

My man said his ex's name during our wedding vows in ‘Ross from Friends' moment…he was mortified but I still said ‘I do'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A MORTIFIED groom left his wedding guests covering their faces in embarrassment during his vows when he accidentally said his ex's name to his now wife. Andrew Fildes, 51, and Rebecca Fildes, 46, got married in a registry office in Bedfordshire in October 2023 after being together for six years. A 'surprised' Rebecca, who shares a middle name with his former partner, quickly corrected him because he didn't even realise his mistake. Luckily the mum-of-three 'just laughed it off' and didn't let it ruin the big day. Taking to TikTok, Rebecca shared video footage of the blunder captioned 'when your new husband calls you his ex-girlfriend's name', which has now gone viral with more than 37,800 views. The clip shows the couple holding hands as the groom says 'I take you, Sarah' - before the bride erupts into laughter. Amused users found the clip hilarious and took to the comments with many comparing the situation to a 'Ross and Rachel moment' from the US sitcom, Friends. In the infamous episode, Ross accidentally says 'Rachel' instead of 'Emily' during his vows leading his new wife to flee. However, other users branded the groom's mistake a 'big red flag'. Despite the awkward mistake, the pair still say it was the 'best day of their lives'. Andrew, a property manager who lives in Harlington, Bedfordshire, said: "It's the worst nightmare saying my ex's name but to be fair it's Rebecca's second name so I got her name all jumbled up when I was talking. I'm horrified by what an Etsy seller did to my beautiful wedding bouquet - people agree it looks 'awful & tacky' "I was bricking it and I was standing in front of friends and family trying not to say the wrong words. I was just shaking and sweating so I was just trying to get through the ceremony really as I don't like standing up in front of people. "I wasn't even aware of it when I said it. Rebecca just looked at me and I thought 'what have I said wrong' and she corrected me. It wasn't ideal for him to say his ex's name. Thankfully I saw the funny side in it and we're still married Rebecca Fildes "My brother put his hand on his face and my son shook his head and I thought 'I've clearly got something wrong'. "It's just one of those things but it's quite a common name. Although it's my ex, we've been separated for 10 years.' He then added: "I was glad she saw the funny side. She loves to take the p*** out of me for it and it comes up quite regularly. I don't take it too seriously but it's still embarrassing. Average cost of a wedding in 2025 Recent research by Hodge reveals the dream of getting married can come with a hefty price tag, reaching more than £20,000. Food - £6,000 Honeymoon - £4,329 Wedding outfits - £3,500 Entertainment - £2,000 Engagement ring - £1,948 Flowers - £1,110 Wedding ring - £1,000 Wedding transport - £700 Total = £20,587 "It's a real-life Ross and Rachel moment. It's a bit frustrating because we talked about that beforehand as a joke because we're both Friends fans. It was still the best day of my life." Rebecca, a dog walker who lives in Harlington, Bedfordshire, explained: "I was surprised he said it. It wasn't ideal for him to say his ex's name. Thankfully I saw the funny side in it and we're still married. "I just think because he was so nervous he picked up on the Sarah bit [of my name]. My brother put his hand on his face and my son shook his head and I thought 'I've clearly got something wrong' Andrew Fildes "It was a stand-out memory but I'm not sure it's a stand-out memory you particularly want. "We've got the kind of relationship where I don't think he did that for any reason other than just making a mistake. "I just laughed it off and we still laugh about it. I keep saying he owes me a proper wedding now where he gets my name right." Big divide Social media users eagerly shared their amusement at the awkward blunder, as one user said: "Ross and Rachel moment." Another asked: "Ross Geller is that you?" Whilst a third user commented: "I'd be bringing this up for the next 50 years." I would cancel the wedding, that's a big red flag TikTok user But at the same time, other users harshly criticised the groom for his mistake. One user said: "That's awful. I would have been so upset." A second chimed in: "I would have walked out." Whilst someone else penned: "I would cancel the wedding, that's a big red flag." Boots brings nostalgic budget-friendly brand known for their mascaras back
The high street beauty chain is adding hundreds of new products to their shelves in 2025, with three viral brands now available to shop in store and online While filling a cosmetics bag can prove pretty costly, particularly with everyone scrambling to try the latest viral sensations and new launches, there certainly seems to be a growing appetite for affordable makeup once again. And Boots is cementing its status as the go-to retailer for exactly that, with the launch of not one, but three budget-friendly brands both in store and online. With the rise of social media, there was a surge in shoppers opting for more luxury products and celebrity favourites. However, with the cost of living crisis and customers getting more savvy, shopping habits have shifted, with more beauty fans looking for high-performing products that don't drain the bank. This summer, the retailer has announced the launch of three of TikTok's most talked about brands - one of which will no doubt bring nostalgic joy for many after. It comes as the high street favourite is set to see more than 400 new cosmetics lines landing in the coming months. Harrods beauty advent calendar returns after fragrance one sold out in 48 hours 'I'm trying to cut down my alcohol intake and this 99p low-calorie drink converted me' Boots isn't the only retailer leaning into the budget-friendly beauty trend, either, as this week saw the launch of Trouble Maker into Superdrug. The bold new brand promises innovation at pocket-money friendly prices, with prices starting from £2. Meanwhile, Sephora's own brand Sephora Collection offers a range of cosmetics, skincare and more from £1.99, with more than 450 product lines to choose from. The three brands that have hit shelves at Boots this week are Catrice, an affordable German brand, alongside SheGlam making its UK debut, and the much-missed Essence will be returning to the high street, delighting customers who have been begging to see it make a comeback. After the closure of Wilko stores across the UK, Essence was like gold dust, but Boots is making it easier than ever to get your hands on. Known for Lash Princess mascaras and Juicy Bomb Shiny Glosses, the brand delivers ultra-affordable prices starting from £1.29. One product expected to be a hit is their Jelly Grip Hydrating Primer, which costs £3.99. If we had to liken it to a more expensive product, we'd say its tacky formula works in a similar way to Milk's Hydro Grip Primer, which retails at £35. Catrice is another name dominating TikTok right now, racking up over 26 million views in the past week alone. The clean, cruelty-free and vegan brand has been praised for products like the Aqua Splash Grip Primer and Under Eye Brightener, which have earned loyal followings for their quality and accessible price point. The Catrice range's most expensive product is £6.99 for their Soft Glam Filter Fluid, which has been likened to Charlotte Tilbury's £39 Flawless Filter. And available on the high street for the first time ever is SheGlam - a trend-led brand loved for its Pout-Perfect Lip Plumper and Colour Bloom Liquid Blush. Their products range from £2.99 to £8.50, proving shoppers no longer need to spend a small fortune on restocking their kit. Speaking on the latest launches, Alice Rafferty, Director of Luxury Beauty and Cosmetics at Boots said: 'Boots is proud to be bringing a growing lineup of socially native, trending beauty brands to the high street. Beauty lovers want to test, trial, and play before they buy, and now they can experience some of the most buzzworthy, viral brands in person at Boots stores nationwide. By staying closely tuned into emerging trends and listening to what our customers want to see on our shelves, we're continuing to elevate our beauty offering, making the latest social media sensations more accessible than ever.' The beauty boom doesn't stop there, though, with Boots also expanding the ranges of other social media-famous brands like Tirtir, the K-beauty label behind the viral Red Cushion Foundation, and Sacheu, known for innovative multi-use products. Sacheu is expanding its range to include more product lines for eye, cheek and lip, such as its Cheek STAY-N and Brow & Freckle STAY-N, which will launch in over 90 Boots stores. Meanwhile K-Beauty brand Tirtir, famed for its game-changing Red Cushion Foundation, will be available on the UK high street for the first time, launching in 30 Boots stores nationwide. Shoppers can test and trial its range of 23 foundation shades, alongside other new, viral-worthy products like the Glide and Hide Blurring Concealer and Waterism Glow Tint. Both brands launched at Boots earlier this year under its new accelerator programme, which identifies and rapidly brings the biggest viral and emerging new brands to the high street. As a result, if you've seen it buzzing on TikTok, there's a good chance it could be coming to the high street not too long after.
