Speaking in the legislative council on July 16, Fuke said Fadnavis has taken Maharashtra to new heights of development and made it a number one state.
"We sing hymns to him because he is like God to us. I don't know if Devendra Fadnavis is God but he is a godly person," Fuke is heard saying in the video that he shared on his X handle.
Fuke is a member of the Legislative Council (MLC), which represents Bhandara & Gondia.
"He (Fadnavis) has a character like that of Lord Shri Ram, intelligence like Krishna, tolerance like Mahadev with the capacity to digest poison, brilliance like theSun and calmness like the Moon," Fuke added. BJP leaders praise Fadnavis to express their gratitude, he added.
Fuke is a BJP leader from Nagpur and has been the vice president of the BJP in the city, besides being a corporator multiple times. Fadnavis is also from Nagpur.

He was also a minister in the previous Fadnavis government and held the PWD portfolio. Fuke has been an MLC since December 2016. He also contested the Maharashtra assembly polls in 2019 but lost.

The book addresses pressing concerns, including the rise of China, the decline of global multilateralism, the impact of Artificial Intelligence and the challenges posed by demographics and climate change. The discussion was organised by the Forum for Nationalist Thinkers, Hyderabad, in association with BEST Innovation University. Former Ambassador to Russia Venkatesh Varma, Krishnadeva Rao, Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR, Rupa Vasudevan, Vice-Chancellor of BEST Innovation University, and senior journalist Uma Sudhir participated in the discussion.

Mafia rule in Haryana, says Cong.; allegations are baseless: BJP govt.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Randeep Surjewala on Sunday said that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, who is also the State Home Minister, is a 'complete failure' and should step down immediately, alleging that 'organised crime is the biggest industry in the State today'. Holding a press conference in Chandigarh on the law-and-order situation in the State, Mr. Surjewala said the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has turned Haryana, the land of Bhagwat Gita, into the land of 'Gangs of Wasseypur', saying the State is now ruled by the 'mafias, guns, bullets and ransom' and not the Constitution. Dismissing the allegations, the Saini government termed the Opposition's assertion as 'misleading and factually baseless'. In a statement, the State government said that under its 'zero tolerance for crime' policy, it has taken significant and effective measures to strengthen the law and order in Haryana, adding that against previous years, the crime rate has witnessed a marked decline in the State. 'Bid to spread fear' It termed the Opposition's remarks as 'an attempt to spread fear among the public and misguide the citizens'.

Leaders pay tribute to ex-CM Sheila Dikshit on 6th death anniversary
Cutting across party lines, senior leaders such as Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal, and Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav, paid tributes to the longest-serving Chief Minister of Delhi, Sheila Dikshit, on her sixth death anniversary on Sunday. 'Humble tribute on the death anniversary of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshitji,' Ms. Gupta wrote on X. In a post on the social media platform, Mr. Kejriwal said, 'On the death anniversary of Delhi's former Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, I pay my homage to her.' Mr. Yadav, along with several Congress leaders and workers, paid floral tributes to Dikshit at the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office. Attacking the BJP and AAP on the occasion, he said the welfare schemes introduced by Dikshit for slum dwellers, street vendors, Dalits, minorities, and the marginalised have nearly been shut down by the former AAP government and the present BJP regime. 'Delhi had witnessed massive development when the Congress government, headed by Dikshit, was in power for 15 years and came to be known as the golden era of Delhi. The Delhi metro, flyovers, underpasses, CNG fleet of public transport, including DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation), well-paved roads, modern hospitals, new universities, colleges, and schools, and green cover changed the face of the Capital,' he said. Mr. Yadav said the people of Delhi still remember Dikshit for the 'unprecedented development works carried out' during her tenure as the CM.
