Seef Properties B.S.C. (Bahrain Bourse Trading Code: SEEF) (the 'Company') announced its financial results for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2024, including the results of the last quarter of 2024. The Company reported a net profit and comprehensive income attributable to the parent of BD 1.41 million during the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to BD 1.59 million for the same period of the previous year, a decline of 11,09%. The change is linked to factors related to the company's implemented strategy for enhancing its financial and real estate assets. Diluted earnings per share attributable to the parent for the fourth quarter of 2024 amounted to 3.08 Fils, compared to 3.45 Fils for the same period the previous year. The Company's operating profits stood at BD 3.10 million for the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to BD 3.54 million for the same period in the previous year, a decrease of 12.39%. The Company recorded a net profit and comprehensive income attributable to the parent of BD 5.61 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2024, compared to BD 6.44 million for the same period last year, a decrease of 12.94%. Diluted earnings per share attributable to the parent amounted to 12.26 Fils for the year ended 31 December 2024, compared to 14 Fils for the same period of the previous year. Operating profits for the year ended 31 December 2024 reached BD 12.32 million, compared to BD 13.95 million for the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 11.70%. The Company's total equity (after excluding the equity attributable to minority) for the year ended 31 December 2024 increased by 0.48%, reaching BD 161.85 million, compared to BD 161.08 million for the same period in the previous year. Total assets for the year ended 31 December 2024 decreased slightly by 1.04%, reaching BD 177.14 million for the year ended 31 December 2024, compared to BD 178.99 million for last year. Based on the financial results, the Board of Directors is recommending to the General Assembly the distribution of cash dividends of 9% of share nominal value, equivalent to 9 Fils per share amounting to BD 4.09 million after deducting treasury shares, as well as the allocation of BD 170K towards the Company's corporate social responsibility program. Commenting on the results, Seef Properties Chairman, Mr. Essa Mohamed Najibi, said: 'We are pleased to announce our financial results for 2024, a year marked by significant achievements that reaffirm the strength of Seef Properties' operational strategy and the efficacy of its business model, despite market challenges. Bahrain Duty Free announces BD2.9 Million net profits for the six month ended June 30, 2025

Bahrain Duty Free Shop Complex (trading code DUTYF) announced at a meeting of its Board of Directors on Tuesday 12th 2025, the financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. Mr. Abdulla Hassan Buhindi – Chairman of the Board, stated that the company had achieved a net profit of BD 1,297,207 during the second quarter of 2025 compared to BD 1,182,690 for the same quarter of the previous year representing an increase of 9.7%. Earnings per share during the quarter were 9.12 Fils compared to 8.32 Fils in the same quarter of last year. Total comprehensive income for the quarter increased to BD 1,392,155 compared to total comprehensive income of BD 480,901 in the same quarter of last year representing an increase of 189.5%. For the six months ended June 30, 2025, the company achieved a net profit of BD 2,990,477 compared to BD 3,524,016 in the previous year representing a decrease of 15.1%. Earnings per share as of June 30, 2025, were 21.02 Fils compared to 24.77 Fils last year. Total comprehensive income increased to BD 3,567,290 compared to BD 3,104,727 in the previous year representing an increase of 14.9%. Total shareholder's equity for the period ended June 30, 2025, is BD 42,054,652 compared to BD 43,490,786 as at December 31 2024, down by 3.3%. Total Assets as of June 30, 2025, are BD 42,420,859 compared to BD 43,870,257 as December 31, 2024, a decrease of 3.3%. Commenting on the financial results, Mr. Abdulla Buhindi emphasized that the financial results achieved reflect the company's flexibility and ability to adapt to economic challenges and changes in the business environment. He explained that the significant 9.7% increase in net profit during the second quarter, despite competitive conditions, reflects the effectiveness of operational strategies, efficient cost management, and the success of investment initiatives implemented during the recent period. In concluding his remarks, Buhindi reiterated his confidence in the company's ability to continue achieving positive results in the coming periods, thanks to the team's commitment, continued innovation, and focus on objectives, while moving forward to explore new growth opportunities that will enhance the position of Bahrain Duty Free in the commercial sector.

CBB Sukuk Al Salam Securities oversubscribed by 135%

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 135%. Subscriptions worth BD 67.603 million were received for the BD 50 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days. The expected return on the issue, which begins on August 13 and matures on November 12, is 5.39% compared to 5.42 of the previous issue on July 9. The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue No.292 (BH000772X055) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
