Jennifer Lopez will star in Netflix's adaptation of 'The Last Mrs. Parrish,' with 'Forrest Gump' filmmaker Robert Zemeckis set to direct.
Netflix landed rights to Liv Constantine's best-selling book in 2021. The psychological thriller centers on a twisted con-artist who targets a wealthy couple — the Parrishes — as her next victims. She infiltrates the pair by befriending the wife and seducing the husband, with the master plan of becoming the next Mrs. Parrish, only to discover that the wife's life is far more complicated than she could have imagined.
Additional casting has not been announced yet.
Andrea Berloff ('The Mother') and John Gatins ('Flight') are writing the screenplay. When the film version of 'The Last Mrs. Parrish' was announced in 2021, Lisa Rubin (who created Netflix's TV series 'Gypsy') was originally hired to pen the script.
Producers include Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, Molly Sims for Something Happy Productions, and Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina for Nuyorican Productions. Executive producers are Margaret Chernin for 3dot Productions along with Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine, Jack Rapke and Derek Hogue.
Lopez recently starred in the inspirational sports drama 'Unstoppable' and will appear next in director Bill Condon's 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' musical remake.
She has previously worked with Netflix on action thriller 'The Mother' and sci-fi action adventure 'Atlas' with Sterling K. Brown.

OIC Condemns Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound by Extremist Israeli Minister

Mohamed Mandour The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemns the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by extremist Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and extremist settler groups under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. This is part of the attempts by Israel, the occupying power, to change the historical and legal status quo at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. The OIC holds the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for the consequences of the continuation of these systematic attacks, which provoke the feelings of Muslims worldwide and threaten security and stability in the region. The OIC also calls on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to put an end to these grave violations and to preserve the historical and legal status quo of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Al-Quds. read more Gold prices rise, 21 Karat at EGP 3685 NATO's Role in Israeli-Palestinian Conflict US Expresses 'Strong Opposition' to New Turkish Military Operation in Syria Shoukry Meets Director-General of FAO Lavrov: confrontation bet. nuclear powers must be avoided News Iran Summons French Ambassador over Foreign Minister Remarks News Aboul Gheit Condemns Israeli Escalation in West Bank News Greek PM: Athens Plays Key Role in Improving Energy Security in Region News One Person Injured in Explosion at Ukrainian Embassy in Madrid News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters Arts & Culture "Jurassic World Rebirth" Gets Streaming Date News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia Business Egyptian Pound Undervalued by 30%, Says Goldman Sachs Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle Arts & Culture Lebanese Media: Fayrouz Collapses after Death of Ziad Rahbani Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results
