A MUM has revealed that she spends around three hours applying her make-up – and rarely ever takes it off.
Just like Dolly Parton, Maureen, 49, even sleeps with her makeup on, despite sometimes waking up with an eye infection because of it.

The US country singer previously admitted that she also sleeps with a full face of makeup so she's always 'ready to go.'
Dolly explained that she's been doing this since the 1980s, particularly while living in California, where the fear of earthquakes meant she didn't want to be caught off guard in an emergency.
Similarly, Maureen wears her makeup no matter what – even if it's just to pop outside to the post box.
Appearing on TLC's documentary My Strange Addiction, Maureen, from New York, shared her daily routine.
She said: 'The only time I take off my makeup is when I'm in the shower. I even sleep in my makeup.
Sometimes when I wear my eyeliner to bed, I wake up and my eyes are stuck together. I guess I want to be glamorous 24-7.'
Speaking to a doctor on the show, Maureen revealed that she sometimes has to 'pry [her eyes] open' in the morning and that they can occasionally appear bloodshot.
The doctor explained that this was a sign of inflammation and warned her it could lead to more serious eye problems.
'Mascara and eyeliner actually can cause pigmentation in the whites of the eyes. That's permanent,' the doctor cautioned.
Maureen also asked whether leaving makeup on her skin was ageing her.
I'm a 34-year-old mum and tried the unrecognisable make-up trend - people say I look like a new person
The doctor explained: 'There is some theory that if you leave makeup on long enough and it causes a low-grade chronic inflammation, that the chronic inflammation might accelerate ageing.'
Her unusual habit has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many viewers praising her natural beauty.
One person wrote: 'She looks so much younger without makeup.'
Another commented: 'Actually, her skin and face is so pretty without the makeup.'

Others, however, were baffled by her routine. One asked: 'The rest I can vaguely understand.
But why does she sleep with it on?? That sounds so uncomfortable.'
Meanwhile, a fourth added: 'Three hours?! There's no fricken way it should take that long.'

We charged guests £700 to attend our wedding — even strangers could come

When Steve proposed to Marley on January 1, 2025, on an ice rink in Boise, Idaho, surrounded by their family and friends, the pair got straight to planning their special day. But, after discovering the cost of weddings, an average of $35,000 in the US and £23,700 in the UK, the couple made the unconventional decision to charge guests to attend their nuptials. The idea initially began as a joke, but they warmed up to the idea when they realised they'd be able to have the party they wanted. In fact, the tickets were publicly available online and the bride announced on TikTok that anyone could pay to attend if they wished – even strangers. Marley Jaxx, 34, and her husband Steve Larsen, 37, gave guests the option of paying £42 each to attend the actual wedding day, or £735 for a three-day experience. This included the wedding, a charity rehearsal dinner and a biohacking day which involved health experts, electrolyte and red light treatments, and breath work – followed by a recovery lounge. 'We decided to charge because we started making a big list of everyone who we wanted to come, we were paying per head, and wanted a big party but the cost kept getting higher and higher,' Steve, an entrepreneur from Boise, explains. 'We said instead of people getting us a gift, or donating to a honeymoon fund – pay for your meal, and you can come party with us. For us, it was all about doing a different way of doing things, and changing how people think about weddings.' Marley, also an entrepreneur, says that their decision to charge people to celebrate was met with some raised eyebrows. @marleyjaxx I thought we all knew the deal by now, but just in case… Yes. You can come to the wedding. No, you don't need a secret password. Unless you count CRASHTHEPARTY as a password… in which case, say less. I was on a client call yesterday and someone asked: 'Wait… can I ACTUALLY buy a ticket to your wedding??' BABY. That is why I've been making these videos every day like a wedding-obsessed Willy Wonka with Canva access. YES, YOU CAN COME. YES, YOU ARE INVITED. YES, THIS IS REAL LIFE. 🎟️ It's $57 📅 Please RSVP before July… if you wait till after, sure, you might still get in… but you could be standing in a corner eating ice cubes while everyone else has dinner. No promises. There will be cake. Emotions. Possibly holograms. A portion of every ticket helps build a classroom in Kenya with Village Impact Drop 'CRASHTHEPARTY' below and I'll send you the invitation. Bring a friend. Or five. We'll save you a seat (unless you wait too long, in which case you might be eating air). ♬ original sound – Marley Jaxx 'Most people got it. Of course there were people who did a double take and were like 'wait, what?',' she adds. 'One friend of mine didn't like it, and he didn't hold back either. We debated it, and in the end, he said he understood. Other responses we had were from people saying that if we can't afford a big wedding, then don't do it. 'It was never about what we could afford.' Despite initial hesitations, 300 guests attended, covering the £36,894 cost of the shindig, which took place on August 1. The celebrations featured brass players, an outside ceremony, a three tier cake and fire displays. 'The people who were at the wedding wanted to be there,' Marley says. 'Guests were commenting on how peaceful it was. It changed the feeling of the wedding. 'I thought it would be stressful, but it was peaceful. One of the guests said when people get a wedding invitation, there is an obligation to go. 'But when you choose to pay, it is a different feeling – it shows how much they appreciate you.' The newlyweds also managed to raise £97,807 to be donated to the charity Village Impact, which provides community-led education, leadership, and economic opportunities in Kenya. The couple say the opportunities for guests to donate were through bracelets made by kids in Kenya, a silent auction with art from Ugandan artists, and even a few guests committing to join them on their trip to Africa to build the school in July 2026. Marley and Steve says they're 'thrilled' with how the wedding went. More Trending Despite the backlash on social media, Marley said they were 'frugal' for their wedding. Marley said: 'I hope that any bride can say that there was nothing they wanted to change about their wedding day. We had family who travelled from all over, our three daughters did public speaking, which we were super proud of. View More » 'Everyone was dancing, we had such a great time.' Inside Katie Price and Peter Andre's bitter 16-year feud and comments that pushed star to explode as exes go to war

FROM reality TV sweethearts to bitter legal battles, Katie Price and Peter Andre's war of words has spanned 16 years. And, judging by recent events, it's far from over. 8 Peter Andre and Katie Price's bitter war has exploded Credit: Getty - Contributor 8 The exes got married in 2005 after meeting on I'm A Celebrity Credit: ITV 2 8 Katie and Peter welcomed baby boy Junior later that year Credit: PA:Press Association Their romance began in the Australian jungle, where Katie and Peter fell in love during I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004. They were Britain's golden couple - marrying in 2005 at Highclere Castle, welcoming two children, Junior and Princess, and sharing their life with the public. But since their 2009 split, the pair have been locked in one of the most public celebrity feuds of the past two decades. Last night Peter hit out at his ex's "lies" in a shock social media rant, after remaining mostly silent on the feud for more than a decade. Peter, 52, issued a scathing statement rejecting Katie's call for a truce — and making explosive claims about their past. Katie broke her silence and hit back, declaring she 'will no longer be gaslighted and bullied' and that the issue is 'now in her lawyers' hands.' Peter Andre's statement in full Peter hit back after Katie's claims on her recent podcast that she was being frozen out of Princess's career - despite Princess living with her. Peter wrote on Instagram: "For sixteen years I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silence has been incredibly frustrating. "That ends today. "The latest comments about my children's welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. "For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. "In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before out of respect for my children." "In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise, to me and my management. "The same falsehoods are being repeated today." "Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations that I have yet to address. Those will be dealt with in the coming months." His statement came just hours after Katie claimed that Princess was living with her on her latest podcast. She said: "I've missed out so much with Princess. I haven't watched the show, but, people have told me how proud I should be of the kids and how they Princess does talk highly of me all the way through it so although I'm not in the show she speaks about me all the time which is really sweet. "But why wouldn't she, because she lives with me. And this is another thing I need to clear up, the kids have never lived just with Pete, we've shared the kids." Here's how the feud unfolded over the years. Libel damages (2011) Two years after their split Katie issued a public apology after accusing Peter of cheating and faking his feelings during their marriage. He had begun defamation proceedings in 2009 over remarks she made to Heat magazine and on The Graham Norton Show. Katie was ordered to pay 'substantial' damages, which Peter's solicitor confirmed would go into a trust fund for Katie's eldest son, Harvey Price. Fake family man claims (2013) 8 Katie, with Pete and Harvey in 2004 Credit: Rex That Christmas, Katie appeared to target Peter in a series of tweets. She said: 'What kind of Dad doesn't let their children see their mum not even 1 day over Christmas when the children want 2 c their mum #fakefamilyman.' She also messaged a follower, saying: 'So selfish. Can someone remind him he has a son called Harvey that calls him dad or was that just for show too'. Calling Emily Andre 'disgusting' (2022) In early 2022, Katie launched an Instagram tirade against Peter's wife, Dr Emily Andre, before quickly deleting the post. She shared Emily's magazine cover shoot and branded her a 'disgusting person', writing: 'My mouth has been shut for so long but I've had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official. 'Always said I don't want to be famous yet doesn't do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it. 'So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children's faces up!' 8 Peter married Emily in 2015 and they have three kids Credit: Instagram / @peterandre Katie also claimed Emily is a doctor who 'doesn't have a clue about a mental health" and accused her of being 'jealous.' She went on: 'Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down. 'Emily you are not and never will be my kids' parent so mind your own business… I think you're a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life.' Branding Pete 'a nobody' (2024) Appearing on the podcast Anything Goes with James English last year, Katie claimed Peter 'was no one before he went in the jungle'. She added: 'When we did jobs together I'd always get more money, make sure we had separate contracts. 'I think he found that a bit hard as well. I was like well hang on you've just turned up in the jungle, I've already got a career going on. You had a song like, how many years ago? you need to earn it. this is the truth, I don't care what anyone says I made Pete again. I made him. 8 Katie said it was his 'lucky day' when he met her in I'm A Celebrity Credit: Rex 'He was no one before he went in the jungle and that's the truth, that's not me being a b****. He done that one hit, like 10 years ago and I think he forgets where he came from.' Then on Louis Theroux's podcast that same year, Katie launched another blistering attack. Taking a swipe about his singing career, she said: 'Who was he? 'I was already like established. He met me and it was his lucky day. So we always had separate contracts. There's no way I'm splitting half and half, no thanks.' Asked if they were on good terms, she added bluntly: 'Don't speak to him.' When questioned on the reason, she said: 'Just don't. It's all through legals. 'He was quite jealous of me working.' Katie cut off (2025) 8 The Sun exclusively revealed the heartbreaking secret rift between mum Katie and daughter Princess Credit: Instagram 8 Telly bosses deliberately cut ex-glamour model Katie out of her daughter's forthcoming ITV2 show, The Princess Diaries Peter hit out after Katie claimed Princess was living with her on her latest podcast. She also claimed Pete had taken control of Princess's career and she had been cut off from supporting her. Princess launched her first reality series, The Princess Diaries, over the weekend, which was filmed earlier this year. Some scenes were filmed in Ibiza and Katie said she was banned from meeting up with Princess despite being on the island at the same time as her. She said: 'I've missed out so much with Princess. I haven't watched the show, but, people have told me how proud I should be of the kids and how they Princess does talk highly of me all the way through it so although I'm not in the show she speaks about me all the time which is really sweet 'But why wouldn't she, because she lives with me. And this is another thing I need to clear up, the kids have never lived just with Pete, we've shared the kids.' Katie has made her feelings clear on her show over recent months that she was annoyed she was 'banned' from appearing in Princess's ITV 2 reality show. And today, she has insisted that she's a 'bloody good mum" to her five children and wants to sit down with Pete to discuss their issues once and for all. The OnlyFans star said : 'There's no reason why both parents just can't be there to support her. Now this isn't about me. I have to clarify this. 'I don't care that I'm not in Princess's show. 'I don't need to raise my profile by being on Princess's show, I do enough stuff. 'All what I want to do, is just whatever my daughter does, and it's the same with Junior, I don't care if I'm in the background, but I want to watch her do her photo shoots, I wanna watch her do her signings, because that's what I did. 'And my mum and you and Nan used to come along and support, and I'm proud of her. 'And I just wanna be there with her because I now I feel that I've missed out on so much. 'Life would be more at peace because I don't have a problem. 'I just think life would be a better place. 'Well, I'm not saying we all have to be best buddies, best friends, but come on. 'For the sake of the children, there's room for everyone to support your kids. 'Do you know what I mean? I'm not saying I have to stand with them and play happy families.'
