Brendan Rodgers might be short of firepower.
But the Celtic boss still faces one or two selection headaches further back the park.
The champions begin their quest for five-in-a-row and a record-breaking 56th top-flight title on Sunday at home to St Mirren.
Paul McStay - one of the greatest Celts of all-time - will make a special appearance before kick-off as he unfurls the league flag.
The Maestro would walk into any Hoops team and Rodgers even admitted: "Paul McStay would probably play in two positions for me. He was amazing.
"When the club spoke to me and told me that there was the possibility of him coming to do the flag day, I went into my boy mode again and… what an amazing icon of the club he is.

"He was such an icon at such a tough time for Celtic as well, I can't speak highly enough of him as a player, and obviously, the humility he has."
Like one-club man McStay, Callum McGregor has dedicated his career to the Hoops and remains the first name on the team sheet - even at 32.
But who partners the skipper in midfield is up for debate. Rodgers is spoilt for choice, with Reo Hatate, Arne Engels, Benji Nygren, Luke McCowan and Paulo Bernardo all battling it out.
Celtic's Arne Engels
New Bhoy Nygren has hit the ground running in pre-season and already looks like a Matt O'Riley 2.0. The Super Swede has slotted in on the right of a midfield three, with Hatate occupying the other side.
It's a dynamic engine room that has clicked over the summer and that could see £11million man Arne Engels benched for flag day.
The Belgian marked his debut season with 23 goal contributions but faces tough competition - with prolific Nygren likely to be given the nod.
At the back, Cameron Carter-Vickers still looks short on fitness after a minor summer knee op. The USA international has been a rock at Celtic's defence but injuries have taken their toll in recent seasons.
Rodgers is expected to manage his game time carefully, which could open the door for academy graduate Dane Murray to step in. The 22-year-old has impressed behind the scenes and the manager insists he'll have a part to play this term.
Up top, this could be a defining campaign for £9m man Adam Idah as he bids to nail down the No.9 shirt. Shin Yamada offers raw pace and unpredictability, but the Japan cap is still settling in.
Out wide, Player of the Year Daizen Maeda will be unleashed in his preferred left-sided role. And on the opposite flank, fringe man Yang looks set to start as the hunt for Nicolas Kuhn's successor drags on.

Rangers handed Champions League warning as Club Brugge seize initiative to edge towards crunch play-off round
One goal was enough to separate Gers two potential play-off opponents Rangers have been handed a warning by Club Brugge after their potential Champions League opponents took a big step towards the play-off round with an away victory against Red Bull Salzburg. Gers have one foot in the final qualifcation hurdle after thrashing Czech outfit Viktoria Plzen 3-0 at Ibrox in the first leg of their third round qualifier showdown on Tuesday night. Summer signing Djeidi Gassama continued his fine start to life at Rangers by bagging a brace while fellow new boy Oliver Antman capping off his debut with a superb assist. Should Russell Martin 's men finish the job in Plzen next week, then they will face the winner of the tie between Brugge and Salzburg for a place amongst Europe's elite in the money-spinning league phase. And it's the Belgian side who will be favourites to set up a showdown with the Light Blues after claiming a shut-out win on away soil, The clash at the Red Bull Arena looked to be heading for a goalless draw until the visitors struck with 16 minutes remaining through Romeo Vermant's goal. Rangers know that reaching the play-off will see them host the first leg at home on August 19/20 against Brugge or Plzen, with the return match taking place on August 26/27. And ahead of the potential showdown, the Ibrox club have taken advantage of the SPFL's new scheme to help Premiership clubs trying to get into Europe. Martin's side are due to face St Mirren in Paisley on August 24 but should they get past Plzen will then have that game postponed to a later date to boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League. The same goes for Hibs who, if they can make it past Partizan Belgrade in the Conference League, will face Legia Warsaw or AEK Larnaca on August 21 and August 28. The capital club are currently slated to take on Falkirk on August 23. Serie A rising star ‘wanted by Celtic' but Premiership champions ‘unwilling to meet asking price'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CELTIC are reportedly tracking one of Serie A's rising stars. The Scottish Premiership champions have just completed the signing of Manchester City defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey on loan but Brendan Rodgers will still be keen to add to his squad. Sign up for the Celtic newsletter Sign up 1 Adam Obert (left) in action for Slovakia Credit: Getty Rodgers has so far welcomed Shin Yamada, Hayato Inamura, Benjamin Nygren, Callum Osmand, Ross Doohan and Kieran Tierney to Parkhead this summer. But reports in Italy are claiming the Hoops are interested in another defender, one with international experience too. Adam Obert played 23 times for Cagliari last season across all competitions and has picked up 23 caps for the Slovakia national team since making his debut in 2022. The 22-year-old has a contract with the Islanders until 2029, having only signed an extension back in January. According to L'Unione Sarda, Celtic are keen on the player but the two clubs have been unable to agree on a fee. They report that the Hoops would need to increase their offer in order for them to consider a sale. The exact figure being debated is unknown but Obert is valued at £2.6million (3million euros). Obert is a left-sided centre-back who can also operate at left-back. Celtic may see him as an upgrade on Liam Scales, who has been similarly used in both positions. New signing Simpson-Pusey is right-sided and has primarily been used in the centre of defence whilst coming through at City. I'm a Celtic-daft bride – I called off the big day but I still celebrated in my wedding dress at Parkhead Obert came through the ranks at Zbrojovka Brno in the Czech Republic before moving to Sampdoria's academy in 2018. After three years with the Genoa-based side, he moved to Sardinia with Cagliari. He has since made 77 league appearances, playing a key role in their latest promotion-winning campaign in Serie B (2022-23). Celtic see Champions League play-off opponents showdown settled by late penalty drama but tie still in the balance
Hoops await the winners in the final qualification hurdle to get into Europe's premier competition Celtic could be heading to Kazakhstan in the Champions League play-off after Kairat Almaty bagged a dramatic winner in their third round qualifier with Slovan Bratislava. Kazakh outfit Kairat welcomed the Slovakian side to Central Stadium and eventually found the breakthrough against the visitors, who went down to 10 men through Rahim Ibrahim's red card with 25 minutes still left on the clock. The decisive goal arrived in injury time, with Kairat's Dastan Satpaev netting from the penalty spot. Satpaev then thought he had nabbed a crucial second only for VAR to overturn his effort for offside. Former Hoops transfer target David Strelec lined up for the away team but was replaced in the second half along with one-time Rangers ' loanee Vladimir Weiss. The Almaty side dominated proceedings with 17 shots on goal but now they still have work to do if they want to set up a showdown with Celtic. Brendan Rodgers ' side await the victors in the final qualification hurdle later this month, with the first leg taking place at Parkhead on August 20. The return fixture away from home then comes six days later, with the loser over two legs dropping into the revamped group stage of the Europa League. The Hoops have opted not to postpone a Premiership match in-between the crunch play-off clash. Celtic are scheduled to face Livingston at home on August 23 but a new policy put forward by the SPFL to help Scottish clubs bidding to qualify for Europe would have allowed them to request a postponement the league fixture. However, Celts have decided against the move, with Rodgers confident his squad can come through the week with flying colours.
