A new alert from the General Directorate of Meteorology expects Saturday to be hot in the provinces of Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Khouribga, Settat, El Kelaa Sraghna, Marrakech, and Moulay Yacoub.
Taounate will experience the same heat alongside Larache, Ouezzane, Tata, Tinghit, Zagora, Rehamna, Khemisset, Beni Mellal, and Fquih Ben Salah.
The same weather will concern Meknes, Errachidia, Khenifra, and Fez.
High temperatures will also hit the provinces of Tata, Zagora, Khouribga, Ouezzane, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Meknes, El Hajeb, Fez, Sefrou, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, and Taza on Sunday and Monday.
The same weather will affect the provinces of Rehamna, El Kelaa Sraghna, Zagora, Tata, Taroudant, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Fquih Ben Salah, and Beni Mellal on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coastal provinces and cities like Rabat and Casablanca have been witnessing a relief in recent days as breezy weather covered the region with temperatures between 25 and 27 degrees.
July recorded the highest temperatures, especially in central and southern provinces.
