A new spin on city love stories
'Metro... In Dino' gives us another look at how love plays out in crowded cities. Just like in 'Life... In A Metro', Basu brings together different stories, each showing couples trying to figure out love, trust, heartbreak and fresh starts.
This time, Konkona Sen Sharma is the only actor from the original film returning for this new take. She is joined by Neena Gupta, who brings her own charm and depth. Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal and Aditya Roy Kapur give the film a young, breezy feel, while Anupam Kher and Pankaj Tripathi's performance adds warmth and humour.
'Metro... In Dino' review
The Times of India, in its review, pointed out both the sweet and the slightly weak parts of the film. It wrote,
"Despite being largely pleasant, some tracks don't quite add up, feel uneven and don't know where to end.
After an engaging build up, the second half feels a tad stretched. You also wish the story scratched the surface a little more, especially for Konkona-Neena Gupta track, where the actors have the potential and gravitas to dig deeper."
But the review also highlighted what makes the film special in today's times. It read,
'There has been a scarcity of love stories in Bollywood and Metro In Dino, elevated by some fine performances, fills that gap perfectly. It is a breezy, intimate watch tailor-made for a rainy day."

Quaquaval in Pokemon GO: PvP & PvE Analysis with Hydro Cannon and Aqua Step
Quaquaval in Pokemon GO PvP (Image via The Pokemon Company) July 2025's Quaxly Community Day brought more than just sparkles—it introduced Quaquaval's long-awaited Community Day exclusive, Hydro Cannon, alongside its signature move, Aqua Step. But is this flamboyant final evolution of Quaxly just flair, or does it have competitive bite? Here's a full breakdown of how Quaquaval performs across both PvE and PvP. Quaquaval in Pokemon GO : Base Stats & Typing - Type: Water / Fighting - Max CP: 3,411 - Attack: 236 - Defense: 159 - Stamina: 198 Weak to: Flying, Grass, Electric, Psychic, Fairy Strong against: Fire, Rock, Steel, Ice, Dark, Ground, Bug Quaquaval in Pokemon GO Key Moves: Community Day & Signature Move PvE Power PvP Power PvP Energy Effect Hydro Cannon 90 80 40 High damage, low cost Aqua Step 55 55 40 +1 Attack (PvP only) - Hydro Cannon: Only obtainable during Community Day events or with an Elite Charged TM. - Aqua Step: Quaquaval's signature move; permanently TM-able after Community Day. PvE Performance: Is Quaquaval in Pokemon GO Raid-Worthy? Pros: - Equipped with Hydro Cannon, Quaquaval climbs near the top of non-legendary Water starters for raid use. - Its 236 Attack stat gives it a slight edge over Primarina in raid DPS. - Optimal raid moveset: Water Gun + Hydro Cannon. If unavailable, Liquidation is a decent fallback. Cons: - Fragility holds it back—stamina and defense lag behind bulkier Water-types. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Moose Approaches Girl At Bus Stop In Moskovskaya Oblast - Watch What Happens Happy in Shape Undo - Its Fighting typing doesn't contribute in raids, as Water moves dominate its kit. - Top-tier Water attackers (like Kyogre, Shadow Swampert) still reign supreme. Summary: Quaquaval with Hydro Cannon isn't game-breaking, but it's a respectable and stylish option for raiders lacking Shadows or Legendaries. PvP Breakdown of Quaquaval in Pokemon GO: Worth the Dust? Fast Moves Fast Move Value Wing Attack Fast energy Water Gun Coverage niche Charged Moves Charged Move Role Hydro Cannon Core move, fast and powerful Aqua Step Boosts Attack, situational tech Close Combat Heavy hitter, lowers defense Playstyle Overview of Quaquaval in Pokemon GO - Hydro Cannon is the real star, making Quaquaval a much stronger PvP presence. - Aqua Step provides a guaranteed Attack boost, setting up potential sweeps, but is usually less efficient than Hydro Cannon. - Close Combat offers coverage, but its self-debuff means it must be used carefully. League Ratings of Quaquaval in Pokemon GO League Score (5 Max) Summary Great League 3/5 Decent typing, but overshadowed by Poliwrath and lacks Counter Ultra League 3/5 Similar struggles as Great League; can't break into top meta Master League 2/5 Power-crept by stronger Water and Fighting types - Best Moveset for PvP: Wing Attack + Hydro Cannon & Close Combat. Aqua Step is more of a wildcard option for niche strategies. Pros & Cons of Quaquaval in Pokemon GO PvP Pros: - Versatile coverage (Water + Fighting). - Can check Steel, Rock, and certain Dragon-types. - Aqua Step rewards smart, aggressive play. Cons: - Low bulk makes it vulnerable in extended fights. - Weak to several popular types (Fairy, Flying, Psychic). - Loses out to meta staples with better energy or durability. Quaquaval with Aqua Step: Secret Weapon or Just for Style? Shiny Quaxly Family in Pokemon GO (Image via The Pokemon Company) - Aqua Step offers 55 damage and a +1 Attack boost in PvP. - It's a cool trick in the right hands, helping bait shields or buffing for a Close Combat finish. - But in most matches, Hydro Cannon is more efficient, and Aqua Step is more of a flashy bonus than a reliable meta tool. Should You Power Up Quaquaval in Pokemon GO? Hydro Cannon Quaquaval: - PvE: Among the best Water starters for raids—great for players without top-tier Legendaries or Shadows. - PvP: Fun, flexible, and fresh, but not a must-have for competitive teams. Aqua Step Quaquaval: - Stylish and fun, but more gimmick than game-changer. - Adds flair and mind games, but Hydro Cannon delivers better overall results. Final Recommendation for Quaquaval in Pokemon GO - Evolve during Community Day to grab Hydro Cannon. - Worth investing in if you're looking for a strong Water starter or enjoy its unique aesthetic. - For top-tier raiding or PvP, better choices exist—but few do it with this much style. Quick Look Summary of Quaquaval's PvP and PvE Analysis League Score (5 Max) Summary Great League 3/5 Decent typing, but overshadowed by Poliwrath and lacks Counter Ultra League 3/5 Similar struggles as Great League; can't break into top meta Master League 2/5 Power-crept by stronger Water and Fighting types My Verdict on Quaquaval in Pokemon GO PvE Rating: 4/5 (for starter-level attackers) PvP Rating: 3/5 Fun Factor: 5/5 Also read: How to Catch Shiny Quaxly, Shiny Quaxwell, and Shiny Quaquaval in Pokemon GO Quaquaval twirls its way into a niche role—useful in raids, cheeky in PvP, and always entertaining. Taylor Swift breaks real estate record with $12.3M sale as she and Travis Kelce build luxury empire
Taylor Swift's former Hyannis Port mansion has been sold for $12.3 million (Getty Images) Taylor Swift is once again rewriting records—but this time, it's not on the music charts. The pop megastar has just sold her former Hyannis Port mansion for a staggering $12.3 million, making it one of the most high-profile residential sales in Cape Cod history. But in true Swiftian fashion, it's not just about the price tag—it's about the legacy, the love story, and the unmatched star power that she, and now Travis Kelce, continue to bring to pop culture and beyond. A Kennedy romance, panoramic views, and a mansion that made headlines again Purchased in 2012 during Taylor Swift's highly-publicized fling with Conor Kennedy—grandson of Robert F. Kennedy—the seaside estate has long been a symbol of her whirlwind summer romance and Americana aesthetic. At the time, she bought the home for $4.8 million, but sold it soon after their split for $5.675 million. The mansion underwent major renovations since then, transforming into a showpiece with 200 feet of private beach, sweeping views of Nantucket Sound, and its perch just across from the iconic Kennedy Compound. Even with its original 1928 build, the 1.11-acre estate now feels timeless—and a bit poetic. "As August slips away," the home feels like a visual extension of Swift's lyrics, blending nostalgia with modern grandeur. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Up to 70% off | Libas Purple Days Sale Libas Undo Taylor Swift's growing empire is about more than music—and Travis Kelce is part of that momentum While the record-breaking real estate deal speaks volumes, it also fits seamlessly into Swift's broader empire. Together, the duo has become a cultural force—merging sports stardom and pop power in a way few celebrity couples ever have. Kelce's own real estate moves in Kansas City have drawn buzz, and with the two rumored to be house-hunting in Los Angeles, the next chapter of their story could very well be written in another multimillion-dollar property. As for this Cape Cod home, it's no longer just a celebrity real estate transaction—it's a piece of history, forever stamped by Taylor Swift's personal narrative and her ever-expanding legacy. When MGR ‘clapped' for M K Muthu
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, goes the old saw. But in the case of M K Muthu, it became the obvious but not sole reason for his fall in the Tamil film industry. This despite debuting in a film scripted by the redoubtable pen of his father M Karunanidhi . Muthu's debut film 'Pillaiyo Pillai' in 1972 had script, screenplay and dialogue by Karunanidhi and was directed by veteran filmmaker duo Krishnan-Panju, who made 'Parasakthi', the film that cemented Karunanidhi's place as a screen writer. It was a hit and ran for more than hundred days in theatres. Around this time, Murasoli Maran, nephew of Karunanidhi, decided not to produce any more films under his banner Mekala Pictures. This despite the success of its last venture, MGR starrer 'Engal Thangam' (1970). This was also when MGR gradually started to distance himself from Karunanidhi. The production house Anjugam Pictures was founded to launch Muthu. Though there were misunderstandings between Karunanidhi and MGR, they tried not to show it in public. It was alleged the distributors were compelled to buy the film by the then DMK govt. Muthu's second film 'Pookkari' was also scripted by Karunanidhi. Though Muthu also acted in the films written by others, it was in the scripts of Karunanidhi that he got memorable roles. In the first two films, from his hairstyle, body language to sartorial choices, Muthu imitated MGR. Many of film critics consider this lack of originality led to Muthu's downfall. Muthu was also a singer He had a light music troupe, which was famous for the song 'Tamilar ellaam maanathodu thalai nimirnthu nirpatharku yaar kaaranam', an anthem for Periyarist organisations. The moniker 'Nadippisai Thilagam' given to Muthu in his third film 'Samayalkaran' (1974) also added fuel to the talk that Muthu was pitted against MGR who was called 'Makkal Thilagam'. Though many considered Muthu as a rival to MGR, they both shared a bonding beyond politics and films. Muthu used to call MGR 'periyappa'. Muthu's time in tinsel twon ended with a cameo in 'Nyaya Tharasu' (1989) written by Karunanidhi.
