How Chiefs are being brought into Andy Byron-Kristin Cabot memefest?
Many users turned out to be very creative there. The first meme, posted by @Oaklraiders1976, humorously reimagines a recent Coldplay concert kiss cam incident. It features an image of an NFL referee clinging tightly to a man in a tie-dye shirt, with the text "COLDPLAY CONCERT KISS CAM" overlaid in bold pink letters.
The referee's exaggerated expression of shock or panic, combined with the tight grip, parodies the awkward moment when Coldplay's
called out two attendees—identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot—caught in an embrace on the jumbotron.
The second meme, from @LIVERavenNation, builds on the same Coldplay incident with a different twist. It shows a close-up of a man with a surprised or embarrassed expression, overlaid with text that reads, "When your boss calls you out on the Kiss Cam at the Coldplay concert."
How do fans react to the memes?
The memes sarcastically made fun of Chiefs being favored by referees in NFL games. But the moment and the creativity of such memes even made Chiefs fans laugh out loud.
One fan @kcashoz wrote, "As a Chiefs fan, this cracked me up!." Another one @I_Am_BS03 repeated the same sentiment, "Even if you're a Chiefs fan you gotta think this is hilarious lol." A third user @Billy3136 added, "I am Chiefs fan. This is actually hilarious! Love the internet.

While there is no solid proof that Chiefs get help from NFL officials, it has been in news for last couple of years. Some say this is pure jealousy seeing Chiefs' success and some say that
and
definitely gets benefit from officials.

Do Chiefs really get NFL official's favor?
The Kansas City Chiefs' dominance in recent years has sparked a wave of fan theories suggesting the team receives favorable treatment from NFL referees. However, both the league and statistical evidence push back hard against this claim. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell dismissed the speculation, saying, 'That's a ridiculous theory, for anyone who might take it seriously,' adding that officiating improvements are an ongoing effort.
Goodell addressed the narrative during his Super Bowl-week press conference, acknowledging the role of fan passion in fueling such debates. 'A lot of those theories happen in social media and they have a new life,' he said, emphasizing the integrity of NFL officiating.
While controversial calls in high-stakes games continue to stoke suspicion, hard data and league transparency suggest these are isolated incidents, not proof of systemic favoritism. As the 2025 season almost nears, the discussion remains heated—but rooted more in rivalry than reality.

'Don't get caught': Tesla, IKEA and several other brands recreate Coldplay's viral clip of Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot
The internet's latest obsession, an awkward 'kiss cam' moment featuring Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR Chief Kristin Cabot at a Coldplay concert has garnered massive attention — not just from netizens but also from several top brands. What began as a cozy moment between the two colleagues, captured by the concert's kiss cam and magnified by Coldplay's lead vocalist, Chris Martin's playful commentary has now inspired a wave of cheeky corporate homages. Global giants like Tesla and IKEA are leading the charge, cleverly fitting the 'Don't get caught' narrative into their own marketing campaigns, proving that even an HR-adjacent scandal can be turned into marketing gold. Several other companies have also used the 'kiss cam' scandal to their advantage and released some hilarious advertisements of their products. Furniture retail brand, IKEA posted a picture of a stuffed panda hugging an orangutan from behind, mimicking the 'viral colleagues' on their Instagram page. The caption read, "Don't get caught... without these! Drama-free cuddles guaranteed." The phrase "HR approved" was placed in the image. On the other hand, Elon Musk-owned brand Tesla posted on X, humorously stating 'Posting a pic of you enjoying your loaner Tesla while your own one is in service is the equivalent of taking it to a Coldplay concert. Your car will know.' Tesla's post Frido, a popular pillow and mattress company, photoshopped Andy Byron onto their cuddle pillow with the caption, 'Bro could've just used our Cuddle Pillow and avoided all that embarrassment.' Frido's post Even airlines did not miss out on the trend as Private jet charter service GlobeAir reposted the viral clip by adding a twist. "The quickest escape after a Coldplay concert," the text read, featuring a Boston-to-Hawaii escape. While most of the comments on the brands' marketing campaigns have been full of jokes and praises for the companies' marketing teams, some also showed concern about humourising a serious incident of adultery and broken families. Commenting on the Frido's satirical post based on the viral incident, an X user said, 'You and your team should be ashamed of this,@ganeshunwired. It's a new low, taking someone's personal life to hawk a product.' Another user commented, 'Pathetic to make fun of someone's relationship to sell your stuff.' The Astronomer CEO Andy Byron faced widespread backlash after a video involving him with his colleague, Kristin Cabot went viral. In the footage, he was seen sharing an intimate moment with the company's Human Resources (HR) head in a Kiss Cam segment during a Coldplay concert, despite being married to Megan Kerrigan Byron, who has mostly avoided social media after the 'work affair' surfaced. Kristin Cabot is the Chief People Officer of Astronomer and also reportedly married to a separate person named Andrew Cabot, who is a Harvard graduate.

Watch: BTS' Jin Recreates Coldplay Viral Kiss Cam Video On Stage
BTS member Kim Seok-jin, popularly known as Jin, appears to have joined the online trend of mimicking the viral Coldplay kiss cam video. During the concert in Anaheim as part of his RunSeokjin solo tour, Jin referenced the video by attempting to duck down, mimicking Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, who was allegedly caught cheating with the company's head of human resources (HR), Kristin Cabot. The incident happened during a break between the performances when Jin invited fans to play a quick game of charades. When the word Coldplay was flashed on the screen, the audience members started reenacting the video. Initially puzzled, Jin soon realised and played along, asking, 'Is it my bro?' - a nod to Chris Martin, Coldplay's frontman, with whom he has a song titled My Universe. The two have also shared the stage before, most recently in Seoul this April. As the video went viral, BTS fans were amused that Jin not only managed to understand the reference but went one step ahead and recreated it. "This is truly what a full news cycle for a pop culture event looks like," said one user while another added: "Do you think Chris Martin texted him personally?" A third commented: "What a legacy to CEO. Biggest boyband in the world knows you are a cheater. Feel sorry for the families of such people." Watch the video here: JIN ACTING OUT THE CHEATING COUPLE HUGGING AND HIDING AT THE COLDPLAY CONCERT??! 😭 — jin files (@seokjinfile) July 19, 2025 Apart from Jin, Major League Baseball (MLB) team Philadelphia Phillies has also trolled Byron, Cabot for the viral clip. The mascots of the MLB team recreated the viral "kiss cam" moment as part of Friday night's game against the Los Angeles Angels, which has since been circulating widely on social media platforms. After initially panning over couples, the camera settled on the Phillie Phanatic and a fellow mascot, dressed in a blonde wig. The mascots recreated the now-infamous reactions of Byron and Cabot, with one of the mascots hiding below while the other turned back, much to the amusement of the audience members. "Posting a pic of you enjoying your loaner Tesla while your own one is in service is the equivalent of taking it to a Coldplay concert. Your car will know," the Elon Musk-owned company wrote.
