Miley Cyrus recalls hiding drug expenses by calling them 'vintage clothes': "My accountant would get these checks of thousands of dollars' worth..."

Miley Cyrus , the 'Hannah Montana' star, used to disguise her clothes as high-end vintage to hide the cost of drugs from her accountant while she was making her 2015 album, 'Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz'. Miley Cyrus gets candid about drugs In an interview with The Ringer's Every Single Album podcast, Miley revealed that drugs were a 'super important' part of the creative process, but came at the biggest cost. 'The drugs were the biggest cost. To hide those from my accountant, we called them 'vintage clothes.' And so she would get these checks of thousands of dollars' worth of vintage clothes,' she said. However, the 'Flowers' singer's accountant would then ask her to see the merchandise of the purchase. Recalling the conversation, the 32-year-old said, 'Every time she saw me, she'd be like, 'Where's that $15,000 original John Lennon T-shirt that you bought?' 'It's like, 'Oh, it's upstairs. Would you like some?' So I bought a lot of vintage clothes that year,' she added, according to Entertainment Weekly. Furthermore, Cyrus stated that her approach towards songwriting is different when she is not indulging in any substance. 'I feel like the things that I was able to find — I can write songs as well [while sober], but I can't find things like 'Tangerine,' she added. Miley Cyrus's sobriety is like her god... During an interview with Zane Lowe, Miley had stated that sobriety is 'like my god,' to which she responded in the aforementioned podcast as a little too dramatic moment. 'That was a little dramatic because someone used that as a quote, and I was like, 'Okay, I wouldn't say it's my god. I'm not gonna go into — I don't do meetings or anything,' Miley Cyrus said. Cyrus said that she struggled to find commercial success for her 2015 and 2017 albums, like her previous 2013 album. Under pressure, she felt compelled to perform more with drugs and alcohol for her 2019 album. Check out our list of the latest Hindi , English , Tamil , Telugu , Malayalam , and Kannada movies . Snow White OTT Release Date: When and where to watch Rachel Zegler & Gal Gadot's Disney musical fantasy in India

Snow White OTT Release Date: If you're a sucker for fairy tales with a big-budget twist, here's some good news: Disney's much-awaited live-action take on Snow White is finally making its way to India. And no, you don't need to wait for a theatrical release, it's heading straight to OTT. The film will start streaming on JioHotstar from June 11, 2025, in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. What more do we know about Snow White? This new Snow White is a high-gloss reimagining with a fresh script, new music, and an updated take on some familiar characters. At the heart of it is Rachel Zegler (of West Side Story fame), playing the iconic role of Snow White. Opposite her is Gal Gadot, far removed from her Wonder Woman armour, playing the Evil Queen with a deliciously dark flair. Directed by Marc Webb, best known for The Amazing Spider-Man films, the movie takes the basic bones of the 1937 animated classic and builds something bigger. Webb teams up with screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson and producer Marc Platt (of La La Land and The Little Mermaid 2023) to craft a more contemporary version of the tale. One big shift is in the supporting characters. Instead of the original seven dwarfs, this version introduces a more diverse group of magical beings, portrayed using a mix of voice acting and motion capture. Actors like Tituss Burgess, Martin Klebba, and Andrew Barth Feldman lend their talents to this updated ensemble. The love interest, too, gets a makeover - enter Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, a rebellious and slightly roguish bandit who brings freshness to the story. The music, a key ingredient in any Disney musical, is all-new but heavily inspired by the legacy of the original. The soundtrack features original songs written by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the songwriting duo behind The Greatest Showman and La La Land. Visually, Snow White is every bit a Disney spectacle. Lavish costumes, sweeping set designs, and high-end CGI give the story a grand scale. Snow White's plot overview The plot follows the general arc we all know - Snow White loses her father, becomes a servant in her own palace, and is hunted by a power-obsessed stepmother. But this time around, Snow's not just running and hiding. She's finding allies, building strength, and pushing back against the darkness. There's still a poisoned apple and a magic mirror, but the film leans into themes of self-worth and empowerment more than the classic did.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos calls Shah Rukh Khan his favorite Indian celebrity: 'We hit it off immediately'

We all know Shah Rukh Khan is a charmer who knows how to make an everlasting impression with his mere presence. However, did you know that Netflix's CEO, Ted Sarandos, was captivated by his charisma and humility? In a recent interview, Ted opened up about his equation with SRK and talked about the fun time he had with him. Ted Sarandos on his bond with Shah Rukh Khan In his recent interaction with Nikhil Kamath, Ted was asked to name his favorite Indian celebrity, and he named Shah Rukh Khan. For the unversed, in 2018, Shah Rukh Khan was one of the first celebrities Ted met as soon as he came to India ahead of the release of the OTT platform's first Indian series, 'Sacred Games.' 'Early in coming to India, I met Shah Rukh Khan right away. He hosted a very nice dinner for me, and we hit it off immediately. I've come back since, with my wife, and we've had nice times together. We visited each other in Los Angeles when his son was in school. So, having dinner with Shah Rukh Khan in India is much different than having dinner with him in Los Angeles,' Ted shared. Ted Sarandos on Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Heeramandi As the interview moved forward, Ted also spoke about the OTT platform's collaboration with renowned Indian filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the series 'Heeramandi'. 'He (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) came in with his very big vision, almost like it was a dare. I dare you to make this, it's so big. And remember, he's a cinema legend. So, the idea that he was gonna make a TV show is almost unheard of. I think he came for us to say no. And when we said yes, it was a complicated production,' he mentioned.
