"They've been sharing privately with loved ones, and it's a really sweet time after everything Pete has overcome. He's so excited. He's always wanted to be a dad."

A second source tells PEOPLE that Davidson has been "more intentional" about letting people into his life and is excited to start this next chapter with Hewitt.

A source confirmed to PEOPLE that the pair were dating in March after they were spotted together in Palm Beach, Florida. In photos of their beach date, the couple was seen swimming in the ocean and sharing a smooch in the water.
Two months later, a source exclusively told PEOPLE that the pair had taken their relationship to the next level and moved in together.
"Pete and Elsie have been living together in New York for the past few months," the source said in May. "They're splitting their time between Pete's house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn."
"They're so happy together and doing great," the insider added.
The comedian opened up about his desire to start a family during an appearance on Kevin Hart's talk show, Hart to Heart, back in 2022.

Denise Richards' estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, has alleged that she had an affair and claims to have text messages to support it. The 52-year-old actor — who filed for divorce from the 54-year-old actress on July 7 — has been accused of physical abuse by his estranged wife. However, Aaron insists that "any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue." He has now explained the events that led him to file for divorce after nine years of marriage to the former Bond girl, including claims that she stole and broke his phone.
