Victim of brutal golf fight involving ex-hockey star details injuries after being punched and thrown into lake
The fight, which took place at Alberta Springs Golf Resort in Canada, saw the unidentified man punched several times and pushed into a lake by former NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky in stunning scenes.
Video of the incident showed the former Florida Panther appearing to be upset with how long the other man's group was taking to play, with the pair jawing for a bit before Tarnasky was charged at.
The fight, however, was incredibly one-sided as Tarnasky quickly tossed the other man into the water.
Incredibly, the victim crawled out of the water and continued to challenge Tarnasky to a fight, resulting in the ex-enforcer landing five punches to his rival's head before tossing him towards the lake once again.
Nonetheless, the unidentified man appears to be OK following the mauling, as a photo has emerged of him with only a slight black eye.
The youth hockey team that Tarnasky works for was reported to be investigating the incident
As seen on the r/golf page on Reddit, the man posed for an apparent Snapchat photo sticking his tongue out and seemingly in good spirits.
'Just a tiny lil black eye thats it thats all boys,' he wrote.
While the man was apparently unharmed in the incident, Canadian police did respond to report of an intoxicated person instigating fights at Alberta Springs Golf Resort in Red Deer.
According to TMZ, no arrests or further investigation took place one police arrived.
However, Red Deer Minor Hockey - the organization where Tarnasky works as a U-17 coach - is reportedly looking into the incident.
'At this time, given that we understand the matter is being reviewed by local policing authorities and we are conducting our own internal investigation into the alleged incident, we will have no further comments,' the hockey team told TMZ.
Drafted 287th overall by the Lightning in 2003, Tarnasky also played for the Florida Panthers and the Nashville Predators. Across 245 NHL games, he totaled 13 goals, 30 points, and a whopping 297 penalty minutes.
He spent many more games in the American Hockey League - playing in 486 games and putting up 80 goals, 145 points and an astounding 881 penalty minutes.
Tarnasky last played in the NHL in 2010.

The Open 2025 LIVE RESULTS: Scottie Scheffler stretches his lead above the chasing pack at Royal Portush
SCOTTIE SCHEFFLER is closing in on a stunning Open victory at Royal Portrush! Home hero Rory McIlroy, plus Brit pair Matt Fitzpatrick and Tyrrell Hatton are in the chasing group, but Scheffler has been in imperious form on the final day. World No 1 Scheffler is looking to add the The Open to his three majors - The Masters in 2022 and 2024 and the PGA Championship this year. The Open 2025 offers: Free bets, sign-up deals, tips and price boosts 2 minutes ago By Craig Mahood Hole 17: MacIntyre (-10) MacIntyre moved to -10 on the 17th hole and it was an inch from -11. His drive finding the front edge of the green and his eagle putt looked in all the way before breaking to the right as it approached the hole. The birdie gets him to double digits under par, though. 4 minutes ago By Craig Mahood Latest scores -17 Scheffler -12 Gotterup -11 Clark, English, Li -10 MacIntyre, Schauffele, Fitzpatrick 6 minutes ago By Craig Mahood Hole 14: Rory McIlroy (-9) Matt Fitzpatrick (-10) Missed putt from 5ft for birdie for McIlroy which probably just about sums up his Sunday. But it ends with the inevitable BIRDIE for Scheffler. His second shot into the green missed well to the left before a good pitch to 10ft and another great putt. Scottie Scheffler in command despite double-bogey
A rare misjudgement from runaway Open leader Scottie Scheffler offered a glimmer of hope to the chasing pack but his advantage was still five shots as he entered the back nine at Royal Portrush. Birdies at the first, after a brilliant approach to a foot, the fourth and fifth had opened up a seven-shot gap and his procession to a first Claret Jug looked even more of a formality for the world number one. However, he got too greedy with a fairway bunker shot at the eighth and left the ball in the sand, resulting in a double-bogey six and his first dropped shot in 33 holes. But, typically, he responded with a birdie to get back to 16 under, which was still just about in range of last week's Scottish Open winner Chris Gotterup who had turned in a three-under 33. China's Haotong Li, who has been in the top three all week, was also at 11 under having battled his way to a front nine of 35. Rory McIlroy's hoped-for charged failed to materialise over the front nine as he did not get the fast start he had on Saturday, when he carded three birdies in four holes. He turned in 34, at 10 under, but having failed to gain any momentum he needed more unlikely Scheffler mistakes to stand a chance of a dream win in his home Open. However, the errors were coming from him and a mis-hit chip at the 10th cost him a double bogey and with that his chances were over. Matt Fitzpatrick also struggled over the front nine and was only able to advance his score by a shot, and was one ahead of his Ryder Cup team-mate at 10 under alongside American Harris English. Two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau carded seven birdies in a 64 which propelled him to nine under and into a tie for sixth with Canadian Corey Conners, also in the clubhouse, and former US Open champion Wyndham Clark, who still had five holes to play.
