Beyoncé setlist: All the songs on her Cowboy Carter tour

Yahoo09-05-2025
INGLEWOOD, CA — It's been a year since Beyoncé dropped arguably her most ambitious album yet, and now she's bringing 'Cowboy Carter' to life.
With a few pops of pyro and a strut down a catwalk in a white-fringed getup, country couture Beyoncé kicked off her 32-date stadium tour April 28 at SoFi Stadium with 'American Requiem.' Beyoncé's five shows at the venue add to her record-breaking resume: She now holds the record for the most performances at the 70,000-capacity stadium, where she played three nights on her Renaissance World Tour in 2023.
The opening night of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter spectacle – the fifth all-stadium tour of her decorated career – drew heavily from her lauded album, with 19 of the 36 songs played during the 2 ¾-hour show coming from the career opus that won album of the year at this year's Grammys.
Beyoncé changed the setlist for SoFi Stadium's second night May 1, moving some songs around and adding several including "If I Were A Boy," "Single Ladies" and "Love on Top."
Along with her California performances, Beyoncé will play multiple shows in Chicago and East Rutherford, New Jersey before heading to Europe in June and returning to the U.S. for a pair of shows in her Houston hometown and Washington, D.C., four concerts in Atlanta and a final double shot in Las Vegas July 25-26.
Here are all the songs Beyoncé performed at her Cowboy Carter concert:

Amanda Knox, Monica Lewinsky reclaim the red carpet together

Amanda Knox and Monica Lewinsky are reclaiming their stories on the red carpet. The "Waiting to Be Heard" author and the anti-bullying activist posed together on the red carpet Aug. 19 while promoting their new eight-part Hulu series "The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox" (now streaming). For the show's New York City premiere, Knox wore a long, lacy Giambattista Valli Paris dress paired with pink Aquazzura heels, while Lewinsky stunned in a gold dress and pumps. It's been nearly two decades since Knox, then a 20-year-old student at the University of Washington, traveled 5,600 miles to study abroad in Perugia, Italy, about two hours north of Rome. Knox moved into an apartment, which she'd share with Meredith Kercher, a 21-year-old British student. The two had become friends, but police arrested Knox and charged her with murdering Kercher. The new Hulu show follows Knox's nightmare journey, spending nearly four years in an Italian prison before being acquitted in 2011. She'd be found guilty (again) in 2014 and finally exonerated in 2015. Lewinsky, too, has faced the scrutiny of mainstream media's sometimes harsh light. The media painted the former White House intern, who had an affair with President Bill Clinton in the 1990s while he was in office, as a "little tart" (The Wall Street Journal) and "a ditsy, predatory White House intern" (The New York Times). Amanda Knox: 'Twisted Tale' asks, 'in the wake of trauma, how do you rebuild your life?' Monica Lewinsky produced 'Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox' on Hulu Over the past decade, though, Lewinsky reclaimed the affair's public fallout as a contributing writer to Vanity Fair with a viral 2015 TED talk about public shaming. In more recent years, Lewinsky – who is credited as an executive producer on "Twisted Tale" – has rebounded as a rising producer in Hollywood. Knox said that Lewinsky "held my hand through this experience because she's been a trailblazer in this regard of a woman who had her worst experience used to bury her and turn her into a punchline," adding that she came "back and reclaimed her sense of self and her purpose in life and didn't allow all of these external forces to diminish her." She first stepped into the industry in September 2021 as a producer on Ryan Murphy's "Impeachment: American Crime Story," partly inspired by events in her own life. That fall, she executive-produced the HBO documentary "15 Minutes of Shame." "From my own experience, the first step was surviving," Lewinsky told USA TODAY. "Holding on to the hope that things can change. It won't be as bad as it is in the eye of the storm forever." Knox told USA TODAY that Lewinsky's reclamation made her believe that "there was perhaps a path forward for me in this world." So Knox asked to meet, and the pair later became friends. When Lewinsky learned four years later that Knox wanted to adapt her 2013 memoir, she reached out. The rest is history (or a Hulu series out now).

Aubrey Plaza's 'shockingly great analogy' for grief is resonating with grievers

The internet is resonating with Aubrey Plaza, who for the first time in seven months has opened up about her husband Jeff Baena's death. During a recent appearance on the "Good Hang with Amy Poehler" podcast, Plaza compared her grief to the 2025 action horror film, "The Gorge." "In the movie, there's like a cliff on one side and then there's a cliff on the other side and then there's like a gorge in between and it's filled with all these like monster people that are trying to get them," Plaza explained to her former "Parks and Recreation" co-star and friend. "I swear, when I watched it, I was like, 'That feels like what my grief is like.' At all times there's like a giant ocean of just awfulness that's like right there and I can like see it and like sometimes I just want to like dive into it and just like be in it and then sometimes I just look at it and then sometimes I'm like, I just try to get away from it, but it's always there." Since the podcast's airing on Tuesday, Aug. 19, fans have expressed appreciation for Plaza's analogy. 'Such an accurate depiction of grief' Many who have experienced loss are relating to her message. "I also lost my husband earlier this year. He was 32 years old and (it) was also a tragic shock. It means so much to hear from Aubrey and not feel alone. The description of her grief experience is resonating so much," a YouTube user commented on the "Good Hang" podcast episode. "That's such an accurate depiction of grief. I appreciate her vulnerability and love seeing her laugh and just hang out with a good friend right now," another YouTube user wrote. "'The Gorge' was a shockingly great analogy for grief, but I hope she realizes that if you stare across the gorge, like the movie, there is always someone who wants to help," another YouTube user commented. Others have shared their praise for Poehler, who helped Plaza speak about her grief for the first time since Baena's passing. "Aubrey's body language and vocal cadence seemed uncomfortable and uncertain towards the beginning," another YouTube user commented. "And rightfully so, as I can't imagine the kind of grief she's dealt with this year. About halfway through, the tension eased. Kudos to Amy for providing Aubrey a space of normalcy – to sit with a friend and loosen up even just for an hour." Jeff Baena died in January Baena, 47, was found dead inside his Los Angeles home on Jan. 3. The cause of his death was determined to be a suicide and no foul play was suspected. Baena and Plaza were allegedly separated at the time. Plaza had not publicly commented on Baena's death since she released a joint statement with his family, calling his death "an unimaginable tragedy" and requested privacy. If you or someone you know may be struggling with suicidal thoughts, you can call or text 988 or chat online any time of day.
