This Morning star makes return to ITV show with exciting wedding update
A familiar face from This Morning graced the show with a delightful update, sharing that she has recently exchanged vows with her beau.
On the episode aired on Friday (July 18), Dermot O'Leary, who has landed a new presenting gig, returned to our screens alongside his co-host Sian Welby for the ITV favourite.
The pair were ready to delve into the day's headline stories, which included a culinary segment with chef Poppy O'Toole, who couldn't hide her excitement as she announced her recent nuptials, reports the Mirror.
Dermot introduced the segment by saying: "We've got the nearly married potato queen, Poppy O'Toole."
As the camera shifted to the TV cook, she joyfully waved and flaunted her new wedding band. Dermot congratulated her, prompting Poppy to respond with a heartfelt: "Thank you."
Intrigued, Dermot inquired: "Did you serve potatoes at your wedding?" The self-styled 'Potato Queen' Poppy confessed: "Ok so as much as I love potatoes I did say not that much so we did just had one truffle potato salad."
Poppy took to Instagram to share her joy, admitting that the wedding day didn't go exactly as planned with her partner Tom.
Her post read: "Well you know how we organised a wedding in like four weeks... turns out you need to give at least 29 days notice and we forgot haha. Very us."
She continued: "Unconventionally we had our 'wedding' two weeks ago where we wrote our own vows and had our friend lead the ceremony (she did amazing) so although it wasn't 'official', it was the best day of my life! !
"So this morning we did all the official stuff at the registry office (shout out Redditch xx) with just our parents. We didn't have a photographer so Tom decided to do a little photoshoot of me in the waiting room on his iPhone. Very glam. Very high fashion. Then our Moms signed the papers as witnesses and it was all very lovely.
"Moral of the story: it doesn't matter where you are in the world, if you're with the people you love and having a laugh, you're very very lucky. I had South of France on my mood board but Redditch will do xx."
The comments section was brimming with heartfelt congratulations for the newlyweds from admirers and celebrity friends alike.
Gemma Collins was quick off the mark with her well-wishes, simply stating: "Congratulations." Andi Oliver chimed in with: "Congratulations lovelies. May the road rise with you!"

Newport pub The Tickled Trout is city's best kept secret
It looks rather unassuming, but upon stepping through the doors I am greeted with warmth from managers Poppy Morgan, 29, and Lesley Davies, 36. The pair took over the pub not too long ago, turning it from a tired Spanish tapas bar to somewhere that you can take part in a leisurely lunch, a drink over a boardgame, or even a 'Taylor Swift cake decorating class' – I'm promised that these themed classes are extremely popular and not as strange as they sound at first. Poppy and Lesley have turned the Tickled Trout into a place for everyone (Image: Supplied) It has a cozy atmosphere and the welcome from the staff on duty is incomparable – it feels like they truly care about this venue and want customers to care too. Strictly speaking, The Tickled Trout is not a really a pub - it's in the no-man's land between restaurant and bar, but this doesn't bother them one bit. The people are Newport are beginning to love the Tickled Trout, as are customers from further afield. Poppy and Lesley detail how just last week they had a customer travel to visit all the way from Oxford, and they couldn't speak highly enough of the relaxed and cosy atmosphere of the pub. With five separate food menus to choose from, there is something on offer for everyone. The Tickled Trout has aimed to redefine traditional Spanish tapas to include flavours from across the globe, changing customers' perceptions on what they already know of the small dish options. The Tickled Trout is redefining traditional tapas (Image: Supplied) The pair are proud of the fact that the basis for every single item on their menu is gluten free, vegan and created using fresh ingredients. It creates an inclusive dining experience and ensures that everyone is catered for with no risk. Lesley said: 'We get a lot of praise for our vegan menu. 'We get the ingredients in fresh every day, and our chefs create the dishes from scratch. Rather than buy pre-made sauce mixes, all our aioli's and anything else we use and serve is made from scratch.' The Tickled Trout creates all their dishes from scratch (Image: Supplied) Alongside their usual menus, they offer a daily bottomless brunch that brings together an extensive cocktail menu full of well-known favourites and their varied tapas dishes. Poppy laughs: 'We get everyone in for bottomless brunch, from the 18-year-olds who drink actual cocktails to the older ladies who usually prefer a glass of prosecco.' Lesley said: 'People usually go to a bottomless brunch and expect either good food, or good cocktails. We're proud that with us you get both.'

"Embrace your feminine energy: nurturing, caring, receiving, multiplying, cleaning, maintaining the home, which is the most precious place for us men. "Do not be afraid to be women, to allow yourselves to be led by a man who only wants to see you happy, because we do not know heaven without you. "Holding yourselves responsible for your energy is also a way of loving you. "Men, we are failing in the lack of commitment, putting our partners last, not keeping our word, and not prioritising habits to become admirable. "I understand that we are afraid to speak and truly express what we feel because they are trying to eradicate masculinity, since in certain cases of the past, feminine energy was suppressed, but many of us are here wanting to love you, take care of you, respect you, and provide for you. 8 Javier Hernandez won two Premier League titles at Manchester United Credit: Getty 8 He also spent two seasons at West Ham United Credit: Reuters "But you women must learn to honour masculinity." Rylan Clark gives update on mum Linda's health after latest hospital dash
The BBC Radio 2 presenter missed a show at the weekend to be beside his mum, as he gave an update on social media. Rylan Clark has provided an update on his mum Linda's health condition following her emergency hospital visit last Friday. The BBC presenter missed his Radio 2 show on Saturday to be by her side. The television personality reassured fans on Saturday morning that she was recovering well. Rylan announced to his followers the good news that she would be discharged from hospital in time to celebrate her 73rd birthday on Sunday, July 20. He wrote on Instagram, "Antibiotics have worked. Letting her home on orals. So she's home for her bday." He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Cheers, everyone, for your messages. Means a lot. Off sort wheelie bins x." Previous updates from Rylan didn't disclose the reason for Linda's recent hospital dash according to reports in the Mirror, but he mentioned, "She's all good. Hoping she will be at home for her bday. She's now worried about wheelie bins going out again." The update comes just days before Linda 's birthday this weekend. Although Rylan has remained quiet on discussing too many details on Linda's recent health scare, he assured fans he would keep them updated as "trooper" Linda recovers. Rylan, who often shares the couch with his mum Linda on Celebrity Gogglebox, first broke the news on social media on Friday. He wrote: : "Mummy Linda isn't well, sadly, so I won't be hosting the show tomorrow." The former Big Brother star went on to thank the medical staff, adding: "Thank you to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Especially Tanya, who really looked after my mum. Will keep you updated as she's on the mend. She's a trooper." He later shared, giving an update: "She's doing really well thankfully. All going good. Cheers for all ur messages." The popular presenter, who hosts his own Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 2, was replaced this weekend by Richie Anderson. Richie, 37, teamed up with former X Factor star Diana Vickers on the programme and reached out to listeners earlier for their "help" before chatting with Diana about her new podcast, Just Between Us. On Instagram, Richie confirmed he would be filling in for Rylan, telling his followers: "I need your help. So tomorrow I'm sitting in for Rylan on Radio 2 and I'm gonna be joined in the studio by the icon Diana Vickers." He encouraged fans to share their dilemmas, stating: "She's got a new podcast out, relationship agony aunt, so we wanna use her advice skills as we do 'Diana's Dilemmas'. So we want your fun household, family, and relationship dilemmas." This comes shortly after Rylan announced that his mum Linda had finally joined Instagram, where she quickly gained over 110,000 followers. Last week, Rylan excitedly shared: "So we've finally done it. Linda is now on Instagram." He also said: "Bear with as she gets used to it but give her a follow if you want," adding, "Can't believe this is happening." Days later, Linda took to social media to post an update. Alongside a photo of herself, Rylan, and the Celebrity Gogglebox team, she penned: "Thank you for 100k followers! Still don't really know what it means but Ross is helping me. This is our lovely Gogglebox crew. Luv yas."
