Madelyn Cline Turns Heads in Plunging Pink Gown at ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer' Premiere

Miami Herald4 days ago
Last night (July 14), Madelyn Cline attended the Los Angeles Premiere of her latest film, I Know What You Did Last Summer, at The United Theater, and it is safe to say that the star of the film was also the star of the red carpet.
For those who are unfamiliar, I Know What You Did Last Summer is an upcoming slasher film that serves as the sequel to I Still Know What You Did Last Summer from 1998. The film takes place 28 years after the Tower Bay murders, following a friend group's flee from another hook-wielding killer. How spooky is that?
In the film, Cline plays Danica Richards - one of five friends who is being hunted by the fisherman - starring alongside talented actors and actresses like Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Freddie Prinze Jr., Jennifer Love Hewitt and more.
Last night, Cline's attire was far from scary, though, rocking a baby pink gown with a plunging neckline that left all attendees swooning. The dress featured ruching on the sides and along the back - hugging her oh-so flattering figure - as well as a long train to add some much-needed drama to the look.
Accompanying the dress, the Outer Banks star accessorized with nude heels, champagne-colored nails and dainty jewelry. Additionally, Cline opted for sleek straight hair and a natural yet glam makeup look, ultimately accentuating her natural beauty. Could she be any more perfect?
I Know What You Did Last Summer will hit theaters in the United States via Sony Pictures Releasing on July 18, so be sure to snag your tickets. After all, this film is sure to leave you on the edge of your seat from start to finish...

Cloaked, hook-handed figure is terrorizing NYC: Mystery madman or marketing ruse for ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer?'

This 'maniac' wants to kill it — at the box office. An apparently cutting-edge ad campaign for the latest installment of the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' franchise is terrifying New Yorkers from Coney Island to Manhattan. The dead ringer for the villain in the 1997 slasher flick — long black cloak, rubber boots, bucket hat and gleaming fisherman's hook — has been seen in videos making the social media rounds in the past two weeks. The new movie opened July 18. 4 In one viral video the creep slinks up behind a group of nine teenage boys walking just before 11 p.m. on the boardwalk at the South Street Seaport. One of the teens notices the stalker, whose silver blade could be seen twinkling in the glow of a streetlamp, before alerting his friends who all begin to sprint in terror. Fifteen minutes later, cameras near the Highline in Chelsea captured footage of an anxious woman repeatedly glancing over her shoulder at the same figure, about five feet behind her, before she takes off running. 4 The purported ad campaign for the latest installment of the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' franchise is terrifying New Yorkers. Jennifer Love Hewitt says she hasn't spoken to Sarah Michelle Gellar since she was 18

Jennifer Love Hewitt claims that she hasn't talked to her former costar Sarah Michelle Gellar in decades, as she dismissed feud rumors between the duo. The "I Know What You Did Last Summer" star, 46, told Vulture in a story published July 18 that she hasn't spoken to Gellar, 48, since the pair starred in the 1997 film of the same name. Feud rumors were sparked when eagle-eyed fans noticed that Gellar excluded Hewitt from an Instagram Story about the film, but the latter said that "I honestly don't even know what that was or how that all came to be." "I haven't seen Sarah," Hewitt told Vulture. "Literally, we've not talked since I saw her at 18 years old when the first movie came out. That's why it's so funny to me. People were like, 'Say something back.' And I'm like, 'What am I going to say? I've not seen her.' On my side, we're good. I have no idea where this is coming from." 'I Know What You Did Last Summer': Why Jennifer Love Hewitt was a 'nervous wreck' 'I just think people don't want the narrative to be easy. Why do we always have to be against each other and out for each other?" Hewitt said, telling the interviewer "I hope so" when it was suggested they may see each other at the film premiere. The Vulture interview purportedly took place before the "IKWYDLS" premiere on July 14 in Los Angeles. For her part, Gellar previously dismissed the idea that a rift existed, writing "for everyone asking" in an Instagram comment that "I never got to see @jenniferlovehewitt who is fantastic in the movie. I was inside with my kids when the big carpet happened. And unfortunately JLH didn't come to the after party." In the 2025 version (released in theaters July 18), Gellar's husband Freddie Prinze Jr. stars opposite Hewitt, and the plot advances nearly 30 years after murders wreaked havoc on the small North Carolina town, as the pair reprise their roles. Gellar and Prinze, who met while filming the 1997 movie, and Hewitt all became teen idols after the success of the original. In the new film, new victims (played by Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers and Sarah Pidgeon) are also targeted by a mysterious stalker and seek help from Prinze and Hewitt's characters.
