Recalled e-bikes with fall hazard sold in Canada through Amazon
Health Canada issued a product recall notice for certain Momentum Vida E+ e-bicycles. The fork steerer tube on the recalled e-bike can crack, break or separate during use, which presents a fall hazard. 'Immediately stop using the recalled product and contact an authorized Giant Bicycle dealer for a free inspection and a replacement fork, as necessary,' Health Canada warns in its recall notice published on July 30. In Canada, 1,446 recalled bikes were sold between September 2019 and June 2025. Bikes were sold through Amazon — and possibly other retailers. Health Canada has issued a product recall notice for Momentum Vida E+ model e-bicycles. The recalled bikes with serial numbers 'H,' 'J' or 'K' are impacted by the recall. The bikes come in colours metallic red, pearl white, metallic navy blue, metallic green, indigo blue and happy mint. Bikes with a serial number in which the third character is 'G' require additional visual inspection by an authorized Giant Bicycle dealer to determine fork status. As of July 22, there have been no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. However, in the U.S., the company has received four reports of broken fork steerer tubes — but no injury reports. You can report a food concern or complaint to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency online. Consumers can report any health or safety incidents related to the use of products by filling out a consumer product incident report form . Forget Apple Watch, Google Pixel Watch 3 Costs Less Than Black Friday Price for Android Users
There are some excellent smartwatches out there, but if you want to get one of the best ones, you could be staring at a pretty hefty price tag. After all, while tech does get cheaper as it becomes easier to access, the cutting edge also continues to be at the forefront of things, meaning it still costs a lot. Thankfully, you can find some amazing deals if you don't mind keeping an eye out for them. Amazon currently has the Google Pixel Watch 3 at 20% off. This means that instead of the usual $400 price tag, you can get it for $320. That's a nice saving, but this is also a limited-time deal, which means that it's not likely to last very long. See at Amazon Smartwatches these days have gone far beyond what they used to do. It used to be that you could just check notifications on them, but you can do that, respond to messages, keep an eye on your health, and even get advice from some of the best smartwatches out there, and the Google Pixel 3 is definitely one of the best. It's especially good if you're already in the Google ecosystem with a Pixel phone too. The Google Pixel Watch 3 is on sale in a few different colors, and the beautiful screen is not only larger than the previous models, but also brighter, making it far more legible. Some of us need glasses, so this is a big win. You can check all of your notifications and respond to them on the watch itself, but a lot of the best features are tied to health tracking. This watch can track your heart rate. keep an eye on your sleep, and even tell you when you should or shouldn't exercise. It also shows you how much harder you could push yourself if you wanted to, and it can help you build custom workouts and get advice while you're out there pounding the pavements. It means that you'll have your own personal trainer strapped to your wrist, which can be a huge help if you're somebody who needs external motivation to stay focused. There's no doubt that this smartwatch is worth $400, so being able to get it for $320 instead is a chance you shouldn't miss out on, assuming you're interested. Just make sure you're quick though, or the deal will run out before you realise it and it'll be gone. See at Amazon
