Cool down with an igloo bar, ice-themed market, and frozen treats in Repulse Bay
Step off the burning sand of Repulse Bay Beach and into the air-conditioned comfort of The Pulse shopping mall to find a bar made to look like it's encased in ice blocks, a 'frosted tree' pumping out bubbles filled with cool smoke, and interactive photo spots like an adorable polar bear installation.
Check out the Ice Bites Market every Friday to Sunday, where well-known brands such as Perfume Trees Gin, Shari Shari Kakigori House, Cheesy the Goat, and The Captain's will be around to present alcoholic beverages, shaved ice desserts, online viral cheesecakes, ice cream cups, and Hong Kong-style snacks like double-layered milk custard egg waffles.
A highlight of the festivities will be their two-night-only drinks event, hosted by none other than the founders of The Opposites, Antonio Lai and Samuel Kwok. Their bar has been ranked in the Asia's 50 Best Bars' extended list this year, so you know you're in good hands with these mixologists shaking up a range of cooling cocktails. Catch Kwok on July 19, and Lai on August 2, from 4pm to 8pm.
Finally, stick around till nightfall to join in the party, where Cantopop remix master Beat Friday and electro music collective Truffleent's founder Fatty Cool will be spinning beats live on July 27. The ice celebration culminates in a Soho Beach House party, organised by Soho House, turning The Pulse's rooftop garden into a club, barbecue, and workshop all rolled into one – and with a gorgeous 180-degree sea view, no less!

Meanwhile, Cassie is pulled into a chillingly personal twist when the body of Lexie Madison is discovered, a woman who not only looks identical to her, but who had been living under an alias Cassie once used in a past undercover mission. Cassie is then told to go undercover as the deceased Lexie in a dangerous operation where she has to infiltrate a group of enigmatic university students to uncover the truth behind her death. The official synopsis reads: "Set during the height of the Celtic Tiger financial boom of the millennium, follow two murder investigations led by ambitious and charismatic Detectives Rob Reilly and Cassie Maddox. The victims are seemingly unrelated, but are knitted together by powerful shared themes." Originally released in 2019 on BBC One and Starz, Dublin Murders was created and written by Sarah Phelps. It received widespread critical acclaim and holds a high 79% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewers can now stream all eight episodes on Disney+ with a subscription as well as BBC iPlayer for free. Critics praise the drama for its suspenseful storytelling and complex characters. The Daily Telegraph wrote: "After eight episodes, countless plot twists and even more anxiously puffed cigarettes, the knotty Irish crime thriller reached its compelling conclusion." While The Independent called the series "unusually inventive," and the London Evening Standard stated it was better than most, writing: "Murders are bad everywhere. Dublin Murders, though, the new BBC crime drama by Sarah Phelps? Very good. In fact, better than many crime dramas." Additionally The Guardian described it as a "tasty slice of cut-and-come-again cake." Fans have also shared their own reviews on the show on Rotten Tomatoes. Tesco shoppers divided over Fox's new Dubai-style biscuits
It comes after the likes of Lindt, Lidl, and even M&S have introduced their own products over the last few months. It comes as foodie social media group New Foods UK posted a picture of the biscuits spotted in Tesco supermarkets across the UK. The post was captioned: 'New Fox's Dubai Style Pistachio Biscuits spotted at Tesco!' One excited account replied: 'Wow need to try.' While another who was lucky enough to find Fox's Dubai Style Pistachio Biscuits said: 'Recently tried these! They're quite nice, I mean.. you can never go wrong with a @foxsbiscuits right?' However, some weren't the biggest fans, as this person shared: 'They're okay, but definitely NOT worth the money.' Another put: 'I got these the other day. They just taste like chocolate. Not getting any pistachio flavour.' Others also seem to be fed up with the Dubai chocolate trend, as one commented: 'What is it with this craze. They all taste disgusting.' In throwback pictures, she used to be a natural brunette with much more subtle features. It's a completely different story nowadays. But even though doctors are now too afraid to touch her, Andrea has no regrets about her plastic surgery journey. Previously, she said: "I like exaggerated things like huge lips, a face with many fillers, heavy and eccentric make-up. 'I don't like boring ordinary appearances and I am a fan of huge shapes and eccentric beauties. Natural beauty is boring to me so I decided to change my appearance radically.' Even though Andrea's family have expressed their dismay about her changing face in the past, she's not fazed by the criticisms she receives. She added: 'I'm an adult, I decide what to do with my body. My friends have no qualms about going out with me, despite my huge lips, and they accept me for who I am. 'They are used to looking at me now with big lips, so are no longer impressed by it all. But my parents and grandparents constantly tell me my lips are huge and that I look scary to them. I don't pay attention to their words.'
