Europe's best cross country runners descend on the southern coast of Turkey to vie for success across varied terrain.
The athletes will have to contend with mud, sand and dirt roads as the European Cross Country Championships, now in their 30th year, visit Antalya for the first time.
The men's field is headlined by track star Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who will be hoping to secure the the senior title for a third time after missing last year's event through injury.
Nowergian compatriot Karoline Grovdal is the hot favourite for the women's title as she seeks a fourth consecutive triumph, though Italy's Nadia Battocletti, a silver medallist in the 10,000m at Paris 2024, will be hoping to better her runner-up finish from 2023.
Here's everything you need to know.

Who are the favourites?
While Jakob Ingebrigtsen is the top contender for the senior men's title, defending champion Yann Schrub returns in search of another cross crown. He will have his work cut out, though, against a strong Norwegian team that also includes Ingebrigtsen's older brother Filip and Magnus Tuv Myhre, who finished second last year.
Karoline Grovdal 's three senior gold medals highlight a record haul of ten individual medals, though the ever-improving Nadia Battocletti has enjoyed an outstanding year on the track. Great Britain's Abbie Donnelly returns looking to better the bronze she secured in Brussels last December.
While women's U23 winner Megan Keith is absent, there are two Brits hoping to defend their titles in Will Barnicoat (U23 men) and Innes FitzGerald (U20 women). Fitzgerald last year refused to fly to Australia for the World Championships citing her concerns over the climate crisis.

Andy Murray issues career update after Novak Djokovic split and makes 'diabolical' admission The three-time Grand Slam winner has revealed what's next for him in retirement Murray says he is open to taking on another coaching role (Image:for LTA ) Sir Andy Murray has revealed that he is open to taking on another coaching role after parting ways with Novak Djokovic, but is not planning on making an immediate return to the world of professional tennis. The three-time Grand Slam winner joined forces with Djokovic in a stunning move in November and was by the Serbian star's side as he reached the Australian Open semi-finals earlier this year. However, last month it was confirmed that the two had decided to go their separate ways after just six months and four tournaments working together. ‌ Appearing at the Queen's Club Championship on the day that the centre court at the club was officially inaugurated as the Andy Murray Arena, the 38-year-old was quizzed on his split from Djokovic and whether he was open to pursuing new coaching roles, having been linked with British stars Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper. ‌ In an interview with BBC Sport, Murray said: "I would do it again at some stage. I don't think that will happen immediately. "I was not planning on going into coaching as soon as I finished playing but it was a pretty unique opportunity. It was a chance to learn from one of the best athletes of all time. "You also learn a lot about how to work with a team. As an individual athlete, you have a team of people around you, but you're the focal point whereas when you're coaching an individual, you're working with a physio, physical trainers, agents. Article continues below "You need to know how to get your message across to the player and find out what makes them tick. "That was the thing I learned and something I need to work on if I want to do it again in the future," he added, as he reflected on his stint as Djokovic's coach. "It was a brilliant opportunity for me. We got to spend some really nice moments away from the court. Results weren't as we wanted but we gave it a go. We'll see about coaching in the future but I don't think that will happen for a while." ‌ During his appearance at Queen's, Murray took to the court alongside former British number one Lauara Robson and two children for a ceremonial two-round rally, but admitted to the crowd that his tennis skills had already become a bit rusty in retriement. 'My tennis is diabolical nowadays," he joked. "So, apologies for what you're about to witness but I'll give it a go." Reflecting on his new life away from tennis, Murray later added: "I've obviously missed being out here. Article continues below "It's the first time, obviously, not being involved in a grass court season for a while, but I've got a new life now and I'm enjoying being away from the sport a little bit." It comes after the tennis legend revealed he has taken up a new role as a venture capitalist, becoming an an associate partner at Redrice Ventures in London. In his new job, Murray will head up a group of athlete advisors - the Redrice Sports Collective - to help find investment opportunities, particularly in the sports business.

Erling Haaland bids emotional farewell as Manchester City exit confirmed

Goalkeeper Scott Carson is finally leaving Manchester City after six years at the Etihad after serving as a useful back-up option and he's clearly left an impact on his team-mates with Erling Haaland posting a tribute Erling Haaland bid an emotional farewell to Manchester City team-mate Scott Carson, who is leaving the Etihad after six years as the club's back-up goalkeeper. The former England international star only played twice for Pep Guardiola and Co but has proved to be a useful reserve option while also providing experience and leadership in the dressing room. ‌ Now 39, Carson has finally left the club but it's clear he had a big impact on his team-mates despite not being an important first team regular as Haaland made a tribute to the veteran shot-stopper. ‌ Posting on his Instagram page, Haaland uploaded pictures of him next to Carson during their time together at City as he wished him well with his next chapter. The Norwegian forward wrote in his caption: "The kind of teammate every squad needs. All the best in the new chapter @scottpcarson33!" Carson's last game came during the 2021-22 campaign against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, but he quickly became a much-loved member of the squad and played a big role in lifting morale and helping others in training. In a statement on the club's website announcing his exit, City wrote: "During his time at City, Carson has been praised by goalkeeping coach Xabi Mancisidor and peers Ederson and Stefan Ortega Moreno for his work ethic and the effect of his positive attitude amongst the group. "He has been part of a squad that has lifted 11 major honours over the last six seasons during what has been a historic period of success for Pep Guardiola 's team. ‌ "Everyone at Manchester City would like to thank Scott for his hard work and dedication and wish him the very best of luck for the future." Carson only played 108 minutes at City but still enjoyed an incredible period that saw him form part of the squad that won the Premier League four times, as well as the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, Champions League and Club World Cup. In his prime, Carson starred for Liverpool, Charlton, Aston Villa and West Brom in the Premier League before later spells with Bursaspor in Turkey and Wigan and Derby in the Championship. He also picked up four caps for England and featured at the 2010 World Cup, where he made a costly mistake in a 1-1 draw against the USA. He joins Kevin de Bruyne in leaving City while Jack Grealish is also likely to follow them through the exit door.
