Strictly Come Dancing has reportedly ruled out Paul Burrell for a spot on the upcoming series, amid concerns about ruffling feathers at Buckingham Palace.
Sources suggest the former Royal butler had been considered as a potential star in past series.
However, show bosses are said to be anxious about how his participation might be received by the Palace and have consequently shelved the idea.
A source told The Mirror: "They know how much Queen Camilla loves the show and would love for her to appear in the audience.....but they fear that Paul's involvement would scupper that relationship."
Burrell has previously been accused of profiting from his association with the late Princess Diana, but has refuted these allegations. Nonetheless, the BBC programme does enjoy a close connection with Royal circles.
Queen Camilla, an attendee of Silver Swans ballet classes offered by the Royal Academy of Dance, has proclaimed herself as one of Strictly's "greatest fans".

She even once remarked to Strictly pro Johannes Radebe "we all watch it".
Host Tess Daly's husband Vernon Kay has also spoken about the "real friendship" blossoming between his wife and the Queen, who is apparently eager for insider details, reports the Mirror.
Vernon commented: "Camilla and Tess have a real friendship through it now. They don't text, but we have mutual friends and messages come through.
"When they see each other, the Queen is always asking: 'Who is your favourite?' She wants to know the backstage gossip.

"It's crazy to think of the King and Queen sat on the sofa with a brew watching your wife present Strictly."
Queen Camilla also threw a palace tea party for Strictly, where she twirled around with ex-pro Brendan Cole and even recorded a video message for the 2020 final, won by Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse.
Observers have noted that Strictly hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess were recently honoured in the King's Birthday Honours. They've been at the helm of the show together since 2014.
Reach Screen Time contacted the BBC, who declined to comment.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and iPlayer later this year.

BBC viewers left moaning just minutes into Michael McIntyre's The Wheel airing

Viewers watching BBC Michael McIntyre's The Wheel were quick to share their complaints Michael McIntyre's The Wheel viewers were not too impressed with the latest instalment of the BBC gameshow. ‌ The programme returned to screens on Saturday night (July 19) with comedian Michael back at the helm. Joining Michael was a fresh batch of celebrity experts tasked with helping contestants win a whopping cash prize. ‌ The famous faces included the likes of Harry Redknapp, Carol Vorderman, Nick Grimshaw, Andi Oliver, Tom Read Wilson, Angela Scanlon and Chunkz. However, it didn't take disgruntled viewers long to share their complaints that it was a repeat episode. ‌ One person fumed on X: '@BBCOne really going for it this Saturday night with 5 (FIVE) game shows back to back.' Someone else added: 'Don't understand why they repeat quiz shows.' A third chimed in: 'As soon as we saw Angela's topic we knew it was a repeat,' referring to Angela's topic of 'redheads'. A fourth also penned: 'Love the show even if it is a repeat.' ‌ It's not all bad news though as fans of Michael McIntyre's The Wheel can expect a brand new sixth series later this year. It was announced in April that BBC commissioned a further two series of both Michael McIntyre's Big Show and Michael McIntyre's The Wheel. Michael McIntyre says: 'I'm so proud of the success of both The Big Show and The Wheel. This will take the Big Show up to its 10th series, which is an amazing achievement for everyone involved. The Wheel was a show we made in lockdown while we couldn't film the Big Show, but it's become equally beloved." He added: "Someone came up to me recently while I was walking the dog and said they 'loved The Big Wheel', I have no idea whether they meant The Big Show, The Wheel or both shows, they may have just come from The London Eye'.

Prince Harry's 'brutal' question he whispered in Eugenie's ear at key event without Meghan

Prince Harry was seen in conversation with his cousin Princess Eugenie at King Charles coronation last year, and according to a lip reader he had some harsh words. Prince Harry has openly expressed his hopes to rekindle his strained relationship with King Charles and his elder brother. However a whisper to a one royal ally may be a problem for the Duke. ‌ It comes as A secret peace summit between senior aides representing both Charles and his estranged son made headlines last week as the pair seemingly inched closer to reconciliation. ‌ The gathering occurred shortly after a BBC interview that sent shockwaves through the monarchy, in which the Duke of Sussex claimed his father "won't speak to him" amid a bitter legal dispute over his security arrangements in the UK. ‌ Reflecting on the rift within his family, which has been ongoing for years now, Harry remarked: "There is no point in continuing to fight anymore, life is precious." In an unexpected twist, the Duke also mentioned "I don't know how much longer my father has," referencing to Charles cancer diagnosis, as detailed in the Mirror. ‌ Harry acknowledged that "some members of my family will never forgive me" following the publication of his tell-all memoir Spare, but he also noted: "It would be nice to have that reconciliation part now. If they don't want that, that's entirely up to them." Despite Harry claiming he is "ready to forgive," his resentment was reportedly evident during his father's coronation, as a lip-reading expert revealed a distressing conversation between Harry and his cousin, Princess Eugenie, who is a close ally within the royal circle. A new programme airing on Channel 5, Lip-Reading The Royals: The Secret Conversations, has unravelled countless royal exchanges at significant occasions, with the ex-royal facing scrutiny. ‌ Harry appeared isolated on the Westminster Abbey steps during his father's Coronation in 2023, having travelled back to the UK without wife Meghan and their children. Whilst his family members gathered together following the ceremony, the friction was still evident. The Duke subsequently approached Eugenie, among the handful of royals with who he maintains a bond with, and reportedly grumbled: "I've spent five hours with my dad in his office and not a friendly text from either", according to lip-reading analysis. ‌ Those who failed to message Harry remains unclear, whether referring to Charles and Camilla, or William and Kate, although Harry appears not to have communicated with his elder brother in years. The lip reader suggests he then questioned "Why hasn't anybody contacted me?" with Eugenie offering a sympathetic yet guarded smile in response. This new revelation emerges among another conversation between Harry and Meghan, which is featured in the upcoming TV programme. The discussion took place between the Sussexes during a Service of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey in 2018, just six months following their wedding. ‌ The pair were accompanied by the complete royal household, including the late Queen Elizabeth, to pay tribute to fallen military personnel and commemorate the Centenary of the Armistice. The documentary delved into a moment where Harry and Meghan engaged in a deep conversation, with Meghan posing a significant question to Harry. ‌ Lip reading expert Nicola Hickling interpreted their exchange for the show, claiming Meghan urged Harry to "take advantage of the situation", before she glanced around at the gathering of royals. According to the expert, Harry's reaction to Meghan's suggestion was to ask: "Today?", to which Meghan replied: "Do it tonight." Following this, Harry is said to have questioned Meghan further, saying: "You do realise that this is the end?" which Meghan acknowledged with: "Yeah, I do know". Royal historian Dr Tessa Dunlop then proposed that these remarks between the Sussexes could indicate that they had been considering their departure from their royal duties and cutting ties with the firm long before they officially stepped down.

The 1% Club - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The query went as follows: "Edna's birthday is on the 6th of April and Jen's birthday falls on the 15th of October, therefore Amir's birthday must be the 'X' of January." It turns out the conundrum links the numbers with its position in the sentence, so 6th is the sixth word and 15th is the fifteenth word. Therefore, Amir's birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence. - Viewers of Lee Mack's popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed.
