what is S line ? is a Korean drama that introduces a fictional phenomenon where a red line—called the S Line—appears above people's heads. This red line connects individuals who have had sexual relationships with each other.AgrGtjbZA77Wp7r3t1h57Qa6dTD3w7QFWJezXHcVbonk pic.twitter.com/TahGNKAIWT

What is S Line really about?
The story shows Hyun-eup (played by Arin), a reclusive young woman, who has lived her life haunted by a disturbing ability - she can see crimson-red lines connecting individuals who have had sexual relations. What may seem like a supernatural gift is, in reality, a lifelong curse. As a child, she innocently drew a red thread between her father and aunt in a family portrait, unintentionally exposing a devastating secret that tore her family apart. Traumatized, she withdrew from the world and became a hikikomori.
However, years later, a series of brutal murders shatters the uneasy calm of her neighborhood and for the first time, she realizes her cursed vision might hold the key to stopping the killings. This leads her to step outside her home for the first time in years.
But she is not the only one tangled in this web. Jung-min (Lee Ga-seop), a troubled math teacher, obtains a special pair of glasses that allow him to see the lines. Obsessed, he begins tracking down his former lovers, desperate to erase the threads connecting him to his past. Meanwhile, Sun-ah (Lee Eun-saem), a once-ignored high school student, uses the glasses to climb the social ranks and reinvent herself.
As these lives collide, Detective Ji-wook (Lee Soo-hyuk) begins to sense a sinister pattern behind the red lines. Alongside the teacher Gyu-jin (Lee Da-hee), he is pulled deeper into a dangerous maze of secrets, desire, and death.
More about S Line
The series is adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi and forms part of the creator's acclaimed 'Death Trilogy,' which also includes A Killer Paradox and Unresolved. While the webtoon depicted a world where everyone could see the red lines, the drama adds a chilling twist - only a select few can witness them, raising the stakes and deepening the psychological tension.
Fans can watch S Line exclusively on Wavve, a paid subscription platform with no free trial. Viewers will need to subscribe - and prepare for a ride into obsession, guilt, and revelation.

Last Updated: Joon Park turns 56. From leading g.o.d to Hollywood and YouTube, explore the K-pop icon's early life, career journey, and legacy in the world of Korean entertainment. Joon Park Hyung, aka Joon Park, is a South Korea-born American singer and actor. With a career spanning over two decades, he is best known for his stint as the leader and rapper of the Korean pop group g.o.d (Groove Over Dose), which was popular back in the 2000s. On the occasion of his 56th birthday today, let's have a look at his early life, journey in the industry, career highlights and legacy in K-pop. Joon Park: Early and Personal Life Joon Park was born on July 20, 1969, in Seoul, South Korea. Shortly after his birth, his family, including his parents and two siblings, moved to the US. He was raised in Los Angeles. After completing his schooling in California, he enrolled at California State University, Long Beach, and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. He worked as a graphic designer before entering the industry. View this post on Instagram A post shared by 박준형 god Joon Park (@godjp) In 2014, it was confirmed that he was dating a flight attendant who was 13 years his junior. A year later, he got married to her in a private ceremony in Seoul. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2017. Joon Park: Journey In The Industry In 1997, Joon Park moved back to South Korea to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He joined an agency and began recruiting members for a group that would create music taking influences from both Korea and the West. The group faced numerous hurdles prior to their debut, including the country's economic crisis in 1997. The group, initially a mixed-gender group named GOT7, roped in Park Jin Young, also known as JYP, as their mentor and producer. Following the departure of one of the members, the five-membered group debuted as g.o.d. In 1999. They released their debut album, titled Chapter 1, in January of that year. The group first appeared on television performing the track To Mother, partly based on Joon's childhood, where he was raised by his widowed mother. Just two years after their debut, the group was on the verge of disbanding due to a dating scandal involving Park Joon. After much backlash, their agency decided otherwise. In 2005, Joon left the group and decided to pursue a career in acting in the US. The boy band did not disband, but announced an indefinite break. He made his acting debut in Hollywood with a cameo in the 2008 sports drama Speed Racer. Joon Park has appeared in several K-dramas and has been featured on various Korean reality TV shows. In 2014, he returned to South Korea for g.o.d's 15th anniversary. He re-signed with the agency SidusHQ. They released the album, Chapter 8, after a nearly decade-long hiatus. The actor and singer has been a cast member in reality shows like Roommate, TMI News, and I Can See Your Voice, among others. He has also hosted shows like Other World Used Cars-Gear GODs, and Live Well, Fun Equipment. Joon Park has a YouTube channel named Wassup Man. Joon Park: Legacy In K-Pop Joon Park, along with his group g.o.d, is considered one of the pioneers of K-pop. Back in the early 2000s, they were South Korea's bestselling artists. Comprising Joon Park, Danny Ahn, Son Ho Young, Kim Tae Woo and Yoon Kye Sang, the group came to be known for their mix of R&B, rap, hip-hop, funk, and Korean-style ballads. At a time when English lyrics were used in Korean songs, they opted to sing and rap entirely in their native language. They were even the first to have their own reality show: g.o.d's Babysitting Diaries. g.o.d also became the first K-pop act to earn the nickname 'the nation's group" due to their humble nature, powerful vocals and relatable lyrics. view comments First Published: July 20, 2025, 16:29 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. BTS continues to prove why they are considered global icons. The K-pop powerhouse has officially become the first artist in the world to surpass 30 million subscribers on Weverse. It's the global fan communication platform. This achievement highlights the group's unmatched presence in the digital fandom space. BTS sets record with 30 million Weverse subscribers On July 20, HYBE revealed that BTS ' official community on Weverse has crossed the 30 million mark. It set a new all-time record since the platform's launch in June 2019. Weverse allows artists to directly connect with fans around the globe through real-time chats, exclusive content, video updates, ticket sales, and merchandise. Currently available in 245 countries and regions, Weverse recorded 10 million monthly active users in Q1 2025 alone. Several Korean and international artists, including Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, and various K-pop groups, also use the platform. However, no other act has amassed a fanbase of this magnitude. While 30 million subscribers is a record in itself, it also stands as a symbol of BTS' enduring connection with fans. From their 2013 debut to their upcoming 2026 return, BTS has built a relationship that goes far beyond music. Through platforms like Weverse, they've cultivated a space where global fans feel seen, heard, and appreciated. Jin's witty Weverse post delights fans amid BTS' 30M milestone As the announcement made headlines, BTS member Jin joined in on the celebration by leaving a short but humorous post on Weverse. 'I was told to post something brag-worthy, so here it is,' Jin wrote, referring to the historic milestone in his typical witty style. The message quickly went viral among fans. Many jokingly say this is precisely the kind of response they expected from Jin. All eyes on BTS' spring 2026 comeback With all seven members now discharged from military duties, BTS is currently working on their next album. It's set for release in spring 2026. The upcoming project marks their first full-group release since 2022. It is expected to be one of the year's biggest global music events. The comeback follows a period of solo activities by each member, who explored individual music and variety projects during their military enlistments. Now, as they regroup, fans are eagerly awaiting updates on the new album, concept, and tracklist. BTS drops first live album Permission To Dance On Stage Adding to the buzz, BTS released their first-ever live album, Permission To Dance On Stage, on July 18, 2025.
