Durand Cup 2025 Schedule: Full list of fixtures, teams and venues as tournament returns to Manipur
Asia's oldest football tournament, Durand Cup, will return to Imphal, Manipur, in 2025 as the full schedule for the upcoming tournament was announced on Monday. Durand Cup, which began in 1888 and is hosted by the Indian Army, will hold its 134th edition this year across Kolkata, Jamshedpur, Shillong, Kokrajhar and Imphal.
The Durand Cup 2025 will kick-off with East Bengal FC taking on South United FC on 23 July at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan in Kolkata.

East Bengal will be one of the six Indian Super League (ISL) sides taking part in the Durand Cup 2025. The other five teams are Mohun Bagan Super Giant, Jamshedpur FC, NorthEast United FC, Punjab FC and Mohammedan SC.

Defending champions NorthEast United FC play their first match on 2 August in Shillong against the Foreign Services Team 2.
Three teams from the I-League –– Diamond Harbour FC, Shillong Lajong and Namdhari FC –– will be a part of the Durand Cup 2025.
The Indonesian Army football team will compete in the Durand Cup 2025, while the Nepal Army team is also expected to join the tournament roster.
The league stage of the Durand Cup 2025 will be played till 12 August, with the quarter-finals starting from 16 August. The final will take place on 23 August.

The Durand Cup Organising Committee (DCOC) of the 134th Durand Cup has officially announced free public entry for all matches in Jamshedpur, starting with a full-capacity opening match at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. All 22,500 seats will be made available through complimentary passes, ensuring an inclusive and festive start to Asia's oldest football tournament. This initiative reflects the city's passion for the game and the organisers' commitment to celebrating football with the community. Free ticket distribution for the first match will take place at the stadium box office on July 23rd and 24th, on a first-come, first-served basis, until all tickets are distributed. To ensure fair access, a maximum of four tickets per person will be issued. In a gesture of community outreach, complimentary tickets will also be provided to local schools and all 41 teams of the JSA League, reinforcing the Durand Cup's commitment to grassroots football and youth engagement. Cash prize for Durand Cup upto Rs 3 crore
The Durand Cup Organizing Committee (DCOC) announced that the total cash prize money pool of this year's tournament will increase three times to ₹3 Crore. The announcement was made on Thursday during the trophy unveiling ceremony in Kolkata as the City of Joy geared up to host Asia's oldest football tournament. Along with the winners and runners up, teams reaching the semi-finals and quarterfinals along with three individual awards will also receive a share of the prize pool. 'With increased media coverage planned for the Durand Cup and the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gracing the grand finale on August 23, the atmosphere promises to be electric," said Aroop Biswas. Ticket allocations for marquee clubs like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Mohammedan SC, and Diamond Harbour FC have also been finalised to ensure strong fan representation. Major General Rajesh Arun Moghe said, 'This year, the tournament continues with the League-cum-Knockout format that has served us well. A total of 24 teams, divided into six pools, will compete across five states, with two pools playing their matches right here in Kolkata. Kolkata will be hosting 15 matches including one quarter final, semi-final and the final.
