Taunton Shed cafe calls for more support after sixth break-in
The co-owner of a cafe broken into six times in three years has said she hopes new security measures will make a Shed in Goodland Gardens, Taunton had its windows smashed and £25 stolen - including staff tips - in the latest incident on 5 Tilly Young said: "It's a dark area at night, it's an area of anti-social behaviour. There's no CCTV and recently the street lights have been off."Taunton Town Council said it was "sorry" to hear about the break-ins and "the issue with the lighting in the area has now been rectified". Ms Young added: "I think people are under the impression there's money on site. The past few times they've taken petty things like cold drinks and ice-creams, but they have caused damage inside." The building is owned by Taunton Town Council and the cafe has asked the authority to help with security Young said: "They are making an effort, they're installing a new camera in front of the shop for us. We have definitely seen a difference after this incident." Taunton Town Council said: "We're very sorry to hear about the recent break-ins at The Shed in Goodland Gardens."We have invested in CCTV in the town centre, but unfortunately an electrical fault with the national grid prevented it being used on this occasion."The issue with the lighting in the area has also now been rectified."

A MAN who was filmed running across the tarmac at Heathrow Airport was due to board a deportation flight. Incredible footage showed the man being chased by at least four other men around the grounds of the airport near Terminal 2. The Sun understands the man was set to board a deportation flight before he escaped, fleeing past moving aircraft on Sunday evening. In the stunning clip shared on social media, the man could be seen racing across the tarmac while wearing something wide around his waist. It is understood he managed to break free from his security escorts before boarding the flight. After being chased for over a minute across the busy airport grounds, the man eventually gives up.
