WNBA star Caitlin Clark hands teammate a mystery drink during three-point contest, after night out
Clark, who's not competing in All-Star events due to a groin injury, had a fun night out on Thursday as she and her WNBA peers descended on Indianapolis nightclub INVY.
She seemed to keep the party going on Friday as she offered Hull a thirst quencher at least twice while sat courtside, which was seen in a video from the WNBA X account.
Clark tried to give Hull a sip of her drink before she competed in the event, but the former Stanford star playfully turned her friend down.
However, Hull later took Clark up on her offer - seemingly after her performance in the three-point contest - as her pal clapped her hands and pumped her fist in the air.
Hull, who replaced Clark in the game due to a groin injury, scored a respectable 20 points but did not advance to the final round.
On Friday morning, Clark said on Good Morning America that she would be 'active on the sidelines' during the All-Star events, and that rang true later on as she cheered alongside Sophie Cunningham, Kelsey Mitchell, and Aliyah Boston.
The night before, Boston was seen discreetly taking a drink out of Clark's hands after noticing her teammate's actions were being caught on StudBudz's livestream.
Fans on social media praised Boston, who was drafted with the No 1 overall pick by the Fever the year before Clark, for looking out for her younger teammate and her image.
At one point on their night out, Clark found her way behind the DJ booth with her arm wrapped around the emcee.
When he thrust the mic in her face and asked if she was 'ready to turn up', Clark shouted 'Woo!' and hoisted her can, which appeared to be a hard seltzer, into the air.
Nonetheless, she appeared to be doing OK the next day when she and her Fever teammates appeared on GMA.
She told GMA host Robin Roberts when asked about being ruled out of the game: 'I'm feeling good. Obviously, a lot of this cheers me up.
'It's good to see everybody out here having a really good time … I'll be there.'
She then gestured to Boston and Mitchell and said: 'I'm gonna be active on the sidelines. I gotta cheer these two on.'
Clark's endured an injury-plagued season for the Fever, and missed ten regular season games, and she hurt herself again on Tuesday while facing Connecticut Sun.
The Fever star, who had already missed time with injuries to her left groin and quad, hurt her right groin, later announced that she'd be sitting out the All-Star Weekend.
Clark was supposed to be in the three-point contest as well as the All-Star Game, where she was voted to captain her own team.
She posted: 'I am incredibly sad and disappointed to say I can't participate in the three-point contest or the All-Star Game.
'I have to rest my body. I will still be at Gainbridge Fieldhouse for all the action and I'm looking forward to helping [Liberty coach Sandy Brondello] coach our team to a win.'

Secrets of Brad Pitt's 'facelift' shared by top plastic surgeons
With Brad Pitt's F1 movie thrilling fans, talk of his youthful looks have taken pole position. One person boldly to social media to declare: 'Brad Pitt got a facelift,' while a second added: 'The surgeon who did [his] facelift should be the richest person on Earth.' has spoken to three plastic surgeons to uncover the procedures the actor may have received. Despite the suggestions, each said he likely did not receive a facelift, saying they couldn't see the typical giveaway signs of taut skin, squinting eyes, and scars around the ear. Instead, they suggested it was much more likely that he had received fat transfers or fillers into the mid-face to boost volume and make him appear younger. Dr Michael Bassiri-Tehrani, a facial plastic surgeon in New York City, said: 'This is a subtle touch-up procedure that tends to be more desirable, especially if you are in the public eye. 'This is because it means... a less drastic change in your appearance, which is important, especially for someone who is in movies and whose face is their identity and their brand.' Brad first debuted his incredibly youthful new looks in September last year, which again sparked speculation from fans about a potential facelift. Sources close to the star denied rumors that he had had a facelift, or received any other procedures to The plastic surgeons did not treat or get the chance to examine Brad in person, and instead based their comments on photos and videos of the star online. Dr Barry Weintraub, a top facelift surgeon in New York City who examined two pictures of the star, said: 'Looking straight at these images, it is clear that he is handsome as hell. 'But I do also notice that in the later photo his face is fuller, and that would either be from fat transfers or a variety of fillers that were used. 'It could also be simply because he gained weight, because that can also lead to more fullness appearing in the face.' He added: 'As you get older, you start to lose volume in your own face... so placing volume back into it is a great way to add youth, and I think that is what was done here.' Surgeons said he'd likely received the filler or fat transfers into the cheeks and jawline to add volume to these areas. They said that overall it was more likely this was fat, typically taken from the abdomen or thighs, because this is longer lasting and can trigger a more natural result. Many celebrities also opt for blepharoplasties, a procedure to remove skin above the eyes to make someone appear more youthful. But all three surgeons said Brad had avoided this. Dr Gary Linkov, a plastic surgeon also in New York City, said: 'I still don't see great proof that he's had a facelift. His hairline area looks ok to me, and I don't see any clear evidence for me. 'But it is possible that he might have had a fat transfer or filler to the mid-face. 'I mentioned a few years ago that he may have had that procedure, so it's definitely possible that he did something like that again.' Dr Adam Scheiner, a cosmetic surgeon in Florida and author of 2017 book The True Definition Of Beauty, said Brad may appear so youthful because of how someone views a person's face. 'When we look at a person's face, our brains focus on the eye and mouth region first and the skin and facial contours area second. 'So it tends to be much more dramatic when someone has the eyes or mouth worked on, whereas if it's on other areas it tends to be much more subtle - like the work we see here.' Brad has not commented on any recent work he may have, but he has repeatedly spoken about aging - saying after he turned 60 years old that he was starting to feel his own mortality. Surgeons have previously suggested that Brad has been receiving fillers and Botox during the years to maintain his youthful appearance but this has never been confirmed. Surgeons suggested too that Brad may be maintaining his skin using moisturizers, micro-needling, and other procedures.

Ryan McMahon aims to propel Rockies to sweep of Twins
July 20 - The Colorado Rockies will look to turn their first home series win of 2025 into a three-game series sweep on Sunday when they host the Minnesota Twins in Denver. The Rockies recorded a 6-4 win over the Twins on Friday and a 10-6 victory on Saturday. "That's definitely a nice building block," Colorado interim manager Warren Schaeffer said. "We want series wins at home. Nobody wanted it to take this long to get it, but it doesn't matter. We got it right now." Colorado's last home series sweep was against the Texas Rangers on May 10-12, 2024. "I feel we're capable of this, even more," said Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon, who homered on Saturday night. "It's just coming out there and making sure we're doing it every single day, having a process of how we're going to get it done, instead of just talking about what we want to get done." McMahon has homered in consecutive games to bolster his trade stock. "It drives my wife crazy," McMahon said, per of the trade talk. "I try not to look at it, dude. If I'm going somewhere else, I'm going to do the same stuff that I do here." Ezequiel Tovar and Hunter Goodman also homered for Colorado on Saturday. Tovar's two-out, three-run blast in the fifth inning broke a 3-3 tie. Goodman, who also drove in three runs, belted a two-run homer in the eighth. The Rockies are 12-36 at home this season. Colorado second baseman Ryan Ritter likely will miss a few days after requiring three stitches on one of the fingers of his right hand. He sustained the injury after taking a pitch off the finger during a successful sacrifice bunt attempt on Saturday night. The Rockies are scheduled to send right-hander German Marquez (3-10, 5.57 ERA) to the mound on Sunday. He has been stingy in two career starts against the Twins, posting a 2-0 record and 0.71 ERA. In Marquez's most recent start against Minnesota on June 24, 2022, he surrendered only three hits in 7 2/3 scoreless innings but walked five and struck out two in the 1-0 victory. Colorado will have to solve right-hander Joe Ryan (9-4, 2.72) to complete the sweep. Ryan is 1-0 against the Rockies in his career two starts but with an 8.10 ERA. His last start against them came Sept. 29, 2023, when he gave up six runs and eight hits in five innings with a walk and six strikeouts in a 7-6 Minnesota win. He did not figure into the decision. The Twins have lost three games in a row. "The bottom line is we've got to play better baseball, and we haven't been able to do that consistently this year," Minnesota shortstop Carlos Correa said. "There's 60-some games left (64) and we've got to figure out a way to put ourselves in a better position. And everybody in this clubhouse, this coaching staff, every player in here, we've got to do better. We're not doing a good job." --Field Level Media
