A stunning biopic, branded a 'hidden treasure' by impressed fans, has finally landed on Amazon Prime Video.
Better Man hit the big screen last December, and focused on music icon Robbie Williams' rise to superstardom.
However, in a surprise move, the Angels singer was portrayed by a CGI monkey while everyone else in the movie was human – a decision by director Michael Gracey that left baffled moviegoers around the world.
Despite the confusion, many praised the movie, hailing it as 'one of the best biopics' ever made.
The film has now arrived on streaming and is available to watch on Amazon Prime, for those who didn't manage to catch the cinema release.
Better Man currently boasts a 90% Rotten Tomatoes score from the audience, compared to a critics ranking of 89%.
Commending the flick, Maria L wrote: 'A movie that will have you crying, laughing, and dancing! This movie is a hidden treasure and should truly be seen by everyone!! One of the best movies of 2024.'
Marianne E agreed: 'One of the best biopics I've seen in a long time, very touching, made me cry a lot.'
'BRILLIANT. A true masterpiece and like nothing you've ever seen,' AE J said.
'I am a fan of Williams but even a nondevotee would leave appreciating what an absolute marvel this film is, from the music, the epic dance numbers and the acting this biopic is a stunning exploration into the depths of self-loathing to redemption. Lovely.'
Ker M added: 'It is rare to see a modern movie with such an incomprehensible degree of creativity embedded into every frame.
'While my faith in modern film is at an all-time low, works of genius like Better Man give me renewed vigor and hope. This is a MUST see. Will clearly become a cult classic in years to come, box office be darned.'
With many questions over the monkey's involvement, Robbie previously shed light on why he was portrayed by a CGI animal in a chat with Metro while at the premiere.
'I didn't know that I'd have to explain it, but obviously [I do],' he told us. 'Because it's unusual, right? That's the thing.

'I'm on the spectrum, so things that are unusual to me, aren't that unusual – I don't pick up on those sorts of cues. I don't know where I am on the spectrum, by the way, I just know I am.'
'It shouldn't work but it actually works better than if it was me. I don't know why,' he added. 'It made complete sense to me as soon as [Gracey] pitched it to me'.
'I don't know if this film would be as talked about if it hadn't had the monkey in it. And it does, and it has. And it all makes sense when you see it.'
Although it wasn't a box office smash in the US, Robbie previously shared his hopes that we could get a sequel very soon. More Trending
In a chat with Australian DJ Sean Brown, the Rock DJ icon said in January: 'There is so much that didn't make the movie.
'Only because we couldn't fit it in – not because I was too embarrassed or ashamed to put it in… many stories. It would have had to be a five-hour film to fit everything in.
'And hopefully it does good and there is a Better Man 2.'
Better Man is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video now.

Father-son duo are first to ever win BBC gameshow's full jackpot

A father and son team have become the first contestants to win the full £10,000 jackpot on the game show The Hit List. More than 250 pairs of contestants have attempted to win the top prize on the BBC One show. But ahead of series eight launching on Saturday night, someone has finally done it. The Hit List sees contestants hear excerpts of music and they have to name the song and the artist who sang it. In the show's endgame, the prize money starts to drop after five seconds of music so the longer contestants take to answer, the less money they make. Contestants are also allowed to skip to a new song. Both Paul, 61, and Tom, 26, from Liverpool, managed to get every one of the endgame's 10 songs right within five seconds, meaning they were able to scoop the full prize on offer. Tom, an events and marketing coordinator, said: 'We've been watching The Hit List for years, this was our third time applying to be on the show, and it was third time lucky. 'We always knew that we'd go on together, as you need knowledge of music spanning all decades. 'The two teams we were competing with were incredible, I couldn't believe when we go through to the final round, the adrenaline was immense and obviously over the moon with the result.' The show, which began in 2019, is hosted by husband and wife presenting duo, Rochelle Humes and Marvin Humes. Marvin said: 'I was starting to believe that it couldn't be done, but they came and proved us wrong, after seven years I've seen so many attempts. 'Tom and Paul were so in sync from the start I knew we were on to something special.' This comes after Rochelle and Marvin opened up about working together on The Hit List, explaining how they're able to avoid any 'domestics' and quarrels while filming the game show together. More Trending While speaking to Metro, the superstar couple explained what it's been like to work together on the show. Former star of The Saturdays Rochelle said that while it 'could have ended up as a nightmare', they have a lot of fun working together, adding that it's 'the show we'd be watching if we weren't hosting it' as it's 'real family entertainment'. Marvin, who soared to fame as a member of JLS, outlined the advantage of 'working with the love of your life', as it means that he can be far more direct with his co-presenter. Viewers can watch all available episodes of The Hit List on BBC iPlayer. Got a story? 'Must-see' crime drama with perfect Rotten Tomatoes tops streaming chart

The latest crime drama to hit Amazon Prime Video has been hailed as "one of the best shows of the year". A new crime drama that fans have hailed a "must-see" has climbed its way up Amazon Prime Video's charts, with viewers branding it "one of the best shows of the year." ‌ The series called Ballard follows Los Angeles Police Detective Renée Ballard as she attempts to solve a new cold case unit within the Robbery-Homicide Division. Ballard is a spinoff from the detective series Bosch that aired between 2014 and 2021 and followed LAPD Detective Harry Bosch (played by Titus Welliver). ‌ This time around, the series follows Maggie Q as she takes on the role of Renée as she leads a team of police officers and detectives attempting to solve decade old crimes including murders. ‌ This series, which is based on Michael Connelly's detective novels, sees Renée open up the investigations to end up uncovering a web of corruption and secrets within the police department. The official synopsis reads: "Detective Renée Ballard plunges into a web of murder and corruption as she hunts a ruthless serial killer and uncovers a sinister police conspiracy that threatens everything she stands for." ‌ 'With her own demons nipping at her heels, Ballard must outwit both criminals and colleagues to bring long-overdue justice to the victims and their families.' Just days after it aired on Amazon Prime Video, Ballard climbed the Prime Video's UK charts and scored a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes rating. ‌ One viewer praised the show, taking to Rotten Tomatoes to write: "It doesn't disappoint and lives up to all expectations. It should surprise no one that Michael Connelly has another winner. Must watch TV!' Another stated: "I can't stop watching it. After every episode, I think, "I need to go do x," but then I watch another.' 'Very engaging, I binged the whole thing without stopping,' someone else said. ‌ Over on X, formally known as Twitter, one fan expressed: "#Ballard is amazing. It picks up the pace when needed but also slows down, giving you time to breathe without ever being boring. It's been so long since I've seen a show do that, and isn't just a sensory overload (even if you binge it in a day). Also Maggie Q is absolutely [fire].' 'What a rollercoaster! Ballard was worth the binge... So far, Harry Bosch's universe remains undefeated,' another added. ‌ In addition to roaring reviews from viewers, critics have also acclaimed the Amazon Prime series. "Smartly acted, beautifully paced and genuinely engaging, 'Ballard' is a thrilling ride from start to finish,' a Variety critic said. While a review from Paste Magazine stated: 'Ballard is kick-a**, earnest, and extremely well-written, and may well be one of the best shows of the year.' Responding to the calls for a second season, Maggie Q shared with Variety: 'The good news is we have a writers' room already, so that's very positive. That does not mean we're going to get greenlit for a second season!" 'I wish it did, but I've had writers' rooms start and then end. But the good news is that we are breaking the second season, which is very exciting.'

Cole Palmer and girlfriend fuel rumours with social media antics after 'difficult' admission

Chelsea and England ace Cole Palmer has been dating influencer Connie Grace, but there has been speculation that the couple have broken up after it emerged that they are no longer following each other on social media Cole Palmer and his influencer girlfriend Connie Grace have unfollowed each other on social media, prompting rumours that the couple have broken up. Palmer recently won the FIFA Club World Cup with Chelsea, starring in the final as the Blues beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0. ‌ Palmer had a hand in all three goals, scoring two and notching an assist, but Grace was not among the other wives and girlfriends that joined Chelsea on the pitch at MetLife Stadium to celebrate the victory. ‌ And the couple have now sparked speculation of a break-up by no longer following each other on Instagram. Palmer and Grace have known each other since they were 17, but did not go public with their relationship until November last year when they appeared together at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. ‌ Grace has 38,000 followers on Instagram and runs her own nail salon business in Manchester. Opening up about their relationship in Amazon Prime documentary 'England's Lions: A New Generation', Grace said: "I think we knew me through mutual friends so I think he probably had his eye on me. "Oh, he's warm and cuddly. Well, with me, hopefully with no one else. When you know how much someone wants something and you know that's someone's dream, you just feel so proud." Grace continued: "Cole now is still the same Cole that I met when I was 17. Obviously, he's changed, he's grown up, and his life now is completely different, but he's still the same boy, he's still laid-back Cole. ‌ "Cole will adapt to whatever situation he's in. He's not bothered that he's that far from home because all he wants to do is play football and if it means leaving home and being in a place which is completely different to where he's from, he'll do it. "He's not bothered about the whole fame side of it and he's not bothered what people think of him. "He is only just bothered about scoring goals and doing well for his team, doing well for his country, and you've got to love him for that." ‌ However, rumours of their breakup comes after Palmer admitted he has been having a "difficult time" recently. After scoring against Palmeiras in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup, Palmer ran over to the Chelsea bench to celebrate with teammate Tosin Adabioyo. And when asked about the celebration, Palmer explained: "That's my boy. Obviously, I've had a difficult time these past whatever months on and off the pitch, but he's always been there for me and he's helped me a lot. "So, yeah, I just thought I'd go over to him."
