The Best Food Gifts You Can Buy Online
There's a good chance every tinned fish enthusiast has heard of Fishwife, but I'd be remiss not to include it in this delicious list. These are not your grandpa's sardines. Or mackerel filets. Or juicy, smoky hunks of salmon. Fishwife gets it right, down to the smallest details, like the gorgeous packaging. (Ordering via the Fishwife website gets you the option to snag gift tins, which look absolutely adorable). The tinned fish flavors are to die for. My favorite is the Smoked Salmon with Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Oil—the spicy, slightly crunchy chili crisp complements the fish perfectly. The Sardines with Preserved Lemon are also scrumptious, with a sour bite that elevates the experience to something special—even if you're still just pairing the fish with a saltine cracker. Every tin has thought and care behind it, from the hand-packed albacore tuna, which is packaged at a traditional Spanish cannery, to the Cantabrian anchovies, which are sourced from an MSC-certified sustainable fishery. Fishwife even offers recipes to help you use its tinned fish in imaginative new ways. If you're shopping for someone who prefers savory over sweet, Fishwife is worth checking out. Shipping Speeds and Costs Standard ground shipping costs $10. UPS 2nd Day Air shipping costs $19. Shipping is free on orders over $75. Additional Shipping Details Most products do not require refrigeration and don't arrive in a cooler box. If refrigeration is required, ice packs will be included. Gift Options Gift tins are available. Gift notes are available for an additional dollar.
Photograph: Imperia Caviar
I admit that I was influenced to try this by TikTok. And I regret nothing. Caviar has this aura of mystery and intrigue, and Imperia leans into this while also making caviar feel more accessible than it would if you ordered it at a restaurant with a snooty waiter peering down their nose at you. Case in point: I ate mine with crème fraîche, chives, and kettle potato chips. While wearing pajamas. In bed. And every single mouthful was fantastic, and nobody was judging me based on my ability to pronounce things or whether or not I knew how to open the tin (which I didn't until I googled it). This little container of fish eggs is sourced from river beluga, or kaluga, at sustainable fishing farms.
It can be kept in the fridge for up to three weeks, unopened, though the company recommends consuming it within a week of purchase; It should be consumed within 48 hours once opened. You can shop add-ons, too, such as a mother-of-pearl spoon, which doesn't impart any flavors that could alter the experience. And the experience is downright fantastic. The caviar is pleasing to look at, with a dark-brown and amber hue, and the flavor is like the ocean concentrated into a tiny drop—in the very best way. The eggs are large and mild, with a buttery, nutty flavor, a salty kick, and a velvety texture that pairs well with blini. Or potato chips. You do you. Shipping Speeds and Costs Custom delivery dates can be chosen at checkout. Flat-rate overnight shipping costs $30. Shipping is free on orders over $300. Additional Shipping Details Caviar is shipped with cooling packs and a FreshTag which indicates whether or not the items stayed cool during transit. Gift Options Gift sets are available. Gift messaging is available at checkout.

The Latest ‘Sinners' Deleted Scene Showcases a New Musical Number
As Ryan Coogler's Sinners is now available to rent or buy on digital, and its Blu-ray release date approaches, some of the special features have started to trickle out. Last week, a deleted scene showed the construction of Smoke and Stack's juke joint—a fluidly edited montage without dialogue that's entertaining to watch, but ultimately feels kind of superfluous. The most recent deleted scene release, however, is more illuminating, putting a spotlight on Delroy Lindo's Delta Slim as he takes a solo turn at the piano. The song is 'My Preachin' and in the extended shot, Delta Slim sings in profile close to the camera as Miles Caton's Sammie 'Preacher Boy' Moore watches admiringly in the background. You can also spot Pearline (Jayne Lawson) and Mary (Wunmi Mosaku) listening closely too. It's a slower, moodier moment tinged with mischief—maybe the sort of song Delta Slim would tend to launch into at the end of a long, boozy night, rather than while the party is still fully raging, as it would be at this moment in Sinners. Even though it was probably cut for pacing reasons, the scene is still a powerful one, tying into Sinners' themes about how music acts as a bridge between generations and enables emotional expressiveness, whether you happen to be a human or a vampire. It's also quite a lovely showcase for the veteran actor before his character makes his heroic last stand in act three. Sinners' physical release arrives July 8 on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K; you can rent or buy it now on digital platforms.

Neverwinter Nights 2 Is The Perfect Game For Baldur's Gate 3 Fans
Neverwinter Nights 2 Aspyr While Baldur's Gate 3 might be the current favorite jewel in the crown of Dungeons & Dragons media, it's far from the first. The franchise which began as a tabletop roleplaying game and has since morphed to include blockbuster movies, game of the year-winning video games, best-selling novels, geek culture-defining podcast series, and so much more, has a storied legacy of dozens of classic PC games. And Neverwinter Nights 2 was always one of the most elusive, until now. Developed by Aspyr, Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition releases on July 15 for PC (including Steam Deck verified), Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Pre-orders are now live! This Enhanced Edition will include all three of the game's original expansions: Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir, and Mysteries of Westgate. The original Neverwinter Nights CRPG from BioWare shares a lot of DNA with the first two Baldur's Gate games in that it's from the same developer and is similar in overall gameplay style, but came out several years later under a different publisher. The sequel, Neverwinter Nights 2, was actually developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the folks also known for Pillars of Eternity, Knights of the Old Republic II, Fallout: New Vegas, Grounded, Avowed, The Outer Worlds, and so much more. Plus, Neverwinter Nights 2 takes place in the exact same campaign setting (the Forgotten Realms) as Baldur's Gate 3 so many locations, factions, and overall themes will be familiar. The reason this is the perfect next game for you if you love Baldur's Gate 3 actually goes even deeper than that, though. Besides the DNA and development similarities in genre and franchise, the core gameplay, camera systems, dialogue trees, and overall game feel are also very similar. However, the main difference is that while Baldur's Gate 3 utilizes a fully turn-based combat system, Neverwinter Nights 2 is actually real-time with pause like the first two Baldur's Gate games and the first Neverwinter Nights. What real-time with pause (RTwP) combat entails is similar to Dragon Age: Origins and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. When combat is happening all of your characters are acting in real-time, but you can then pause the game to issue commands about which abilities to use and what to target. This mixes the slow-paced strategy of a turn-based game with the immediate and intense visceral reactions of a real-time combat game. From what we've seen so far, this remaster is going to be wonderful. I've played the Enhanced Editions of Baldur's Gate 1, Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, and Icewind Dale, so if you've dabbled in any of those as well then you understand what to expect here too. Fortunately, you don't need to have played the previous game to jump right in here. Neverwinter Nights 2 Aspyr The base game hasn't aged very gracefully though and, arguably, it's been the most in need of a remaster of the whole bunch if you ask me. Upgrading performance, improving resolution, and streamlining the janky bits so it runs well on modern machines (including consoles for the first time!) is just what the cleric ordered. Fans of Baldur's Gate 3 should definitely have Neverwinter Nights 2 Enhanced Edition high on their to-be-played list for 2025.
