Police say just after 5 a.m. on July 22, a man broke into a home in the Broadview and Danforth avenues area, near the Don Valley Parkway.
They allege that he stole a 'quantity of property' before fleeing eastbound along Danforth.
The man is described by police as having a large build, and he was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black baseball hat, and blue pants.

Earlier that morning, at approximately 7:55 a.m., Eskasoni RCMP had responded to a report of a possible impaired driver involving the same pickup truck. A search for the vehicle was unsuccessful. The man has been charged with failure to stop after an accident causing bodily harm and two counts of dangerous operation causing bodily harm. He remains in custody pending an appearance in Sydney provincial court on Monday. The current condition of the victims has not been released.

The police officer drove to the scene, but the driver had already fled. The officer stayed to treat the victims, a 34-year-old woman and a 56-year-old man. Both were taken to Victoria Hospital and remain there in serious condition. Prince Albert police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 306-953-4222. Anonymous tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
