Here's Our First Look at "Stranger Things" Season 5
Netflix has unveiled the teaser trailer for the fifth and final season of 'Stranger Things.'
Created by the Duffer Brothers, 'Stranger Things 5' picks up in the aftermath of Vecna leaving Max in a coma and spreading the Upside Down into Hawkins.
At the end of the explosive trailer, Vecna arrives to go to war against the gang.
The official synopsis for 'Stranger Things 5' reads, 'Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they've faced before. To end this nightmare, they'll need everyone — the full party—standing together, one last time.'
In May, Netflix revealed that the final season of the mega-hit show will be released in three parts: the first debuting on November 26, the second December 25 and the series finale December 31. Each volume releases at 5 pm PT.
The main cast returning for Season 5 includes Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sink as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna and more.
New cast members include Nell Fisher as Holly Wheeler, Jake Connelly as Derek Turnbrow and Alex Breaux as Lt. Akers.
'Terminator' star Linda Hamilton is also joining the cast in a mysterious role.

"Practical Magic 2" Begins Production
Yara Sameh Production has begun on "Practical Magic 2", Warner Bros. Pictures' sequel to the 1998 romantic fantasy starring Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock. Kidman posted a video on her Instagram Friday of herself and Bullock filming on their first day on the set of the follow-up. In the video, Kidman is seen embracing Bullock as they stand in front of a headstone at a cemetery. "The witches are back ✨ Owens sisters' first day on set!" she captioned the post. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Nicole Kidman (@nicolekidman) Bullock and Kidman are reprising their roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, who descend from a long line of witches. In the 1998 original, based on the novel by Alice Hoffman, the two witches find themselves fighting off a curse that kills the men they fall in love with. While the plot details for the second film have not been disclosed, the story is reportedly based on a later installment in Hoffman's 'Practical Magic' book series. Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing will reprise their roles as Aunt Jet and Aunt Frances 'Fran' Owens, respectively. Additional cast members include Lee Pace ('Bodies Bodies Bodies'), Joey King ('The Act'), Maisie Williams ('Game of Thrones'), Xolo Maridueña ('Blue Beetle'), and Solly McLeod ('The Dead Don't Hurt'). Susanne Bier ('Bird Box') is directing from a screenplay co-written by Akiva Goldsman, who also co-wrote the original, and Georgia Pritchett ('Succession'). Earlier this year, Kidman told Variety that she and Bullock were already thinking about a follow-up when they shot the first film. 'When we were making it, we definitely did,' Kidman said. 'We're so excited. Yes, yes, beyond excited. You heard our spell. We put out our spell already.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" Sports Get to Know 2025 WWE Evolution Results News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language
