Georgia - who joined Corrie in 2015 but whose character was killed-off screen two years later - has had a tough time lately, and has now opened up about how her acting work dried up.
Speaking about returning to the UK from Serbia in 2021, where she filmed CW drama The Outpost, she told the Sausage on a Fork podcast:: "I came back in the December of 2020 and I just realised, 'Oh my God, there's no work.'
"Everything that got stopped filming in the UK then got put on a back burner, and then there was a backlog of what was about to start filming.
"Then everything behind that took four years to come out, then we had the writers' strikes."
The distraught star then added: "It's just been a nightmare.
"And that's why this has been the quietest I've ever been in my life.
"I think a lot of actors around the world will say the exact time."
NAIL SALON FIRE
Another testing time for Georgia was when her beauty business was destroyed in a devastating fire.
She launched the nail salon after she struggled to find acting work.
But because of the blaze, she has had to resort to crowd funding to try and raise money to get the company up and running again.
Georgia May Foote reveals acting work has dried up and she lost 'thousands of pounds'
The actress had created a successful side-hustle to her acting by training as a nail technician and setting up a salon in Middleton, Greater Manchester.
On June 25, Georgia took to Instagram to report her salon unit had burned down.
She launched a fundraiser for herself and the other businesses affected while they await a potential insurance payout - yet was hit with flack from cruel online trolls.
In the same podcast, Georgia opened up about the impact of the fire, and said: "Within two hours the whole building was alight, and the whole thing burnt down.
"We weren't allowed back in there and nothing has been salvaged.
"Four years' worth of products and stock and everything. We can't get back to work without that stuff.

"It's thousands of pounds of stuff. You can't just go and buy it.
Talking about the crowd funding, she said: "I did start a fundraiser to raise some money for these ladies to help us get back on our feet and build our stock back up again that we've lost.
"It's passed the £12,000 mark. I'm really happy. It makes me really emotional to speak about it.
"I just know it's a lot of women's only income. I'm lucky that I still do my voiceovers and I do have jobs coming in.
"But, at the same time, I lost a lot of money in that fire. But people have lost entire homes worth of stuff that can't be replaced."
Reflecting on how much the business means to her, Georgia said: "This has kept me busy every single day.
"It gives me a reason to get up every single day.
HEADING FOR DIVORCE
The Sun exclusively revealed how Georgia and husband Kris are heading for divorce just two years after tying the knot in an intimate ceremony.
The actress has removed her wedding ring and wiped all traces of the musician who she once called her 'best friend' from her Instagram page — including glossy snaps from their wedding.
A source told The Sun: 'Georgia's marriage to Kris seems to be over. It's on the rocks.
'She's looking to the future and is surrounded by friends and her family.'

He made the shocking rant in a video which he posted on Instagram for his 6.1million followers. He said: "Women, you are failing. "You are eradicating masculinity by making society hypersensitive. "Embrace your feminine energy: nurturing, caring, receiving, multiplying, cleaning, maintaining the home, which is the most precious place for us men. "Do not be afraid to be women, to allow yourselves to be led by a man who only wants to see you happy, because we do not know heaven without you. "Holding yourselves responsible for your energy is also a way of loving you. "Men, we are failing in the lack of commitment, putting our partners last, not keeping our word, and not prioritising habits to become admirable. "I understand that we are afraid to speak and truly express what we feel because they are trying to eradicate masculinity, since in certain cases of the past, feminine energy was suppressed, but many of us are here wanting to love you, take care of you, respect you, and provide for you. 8 Javier Hernandez won two Premier League titles at Manchester United Credit: Getty 8 He also spent two seasons at West Ham United Credit: Reuters "But you women must learn to honour masculinity." The sexist ramblings were slammed by fans on social media as they reacted to Hernandez. One posted: "This video really makes you crazy. He has previously spoken about his struggles following his split from model wife Sarah Kohan four years ago. Hernandez played for Man United between 2010 and 2015 when he made his permanent exit to Bayer Leverkusen. That was not the end of his days in the Premier League as he returned to England and joined West Ham in 2017. After two years at the London Stadium, the Mexican had spells at Sevilla and LA Galaxy before joining his boyhood club, Guadalajara. Hernenadez enjoyed great success during his career as he became Mexico's top goalscorer with 52 goals in 109 appearances. The poacher also won two Premier League titles while with the Red Devils. However, since returning to Mexico, he has had his game time limited due to a series of injuries.

Kim Zolciak, 47, strips down to tiny bikini after revealing ALL the plastic surgery she has had done
Kim Zolciak took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to show off her figure in a stringy black bikini. The 47-year-old mother-of-six — who just detailed all her cosmetic surgeries — posed in a close-up mirror selfie revealing her busty chest as she modeled a triangle top with tiny white bow accents. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star showed off her slim waistline in the swimwear's matching thong bottoms. Her long blonde hair was thrown into a carefree updo as she wrote, 'Suit on... on the way out the door to get a little sun then [rain emoji].' She rocked an almond-shaped French manicure and wore rectangular black-rimmed eyeglasses in the picture. Zolciak appeared on a recent episode of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind. She and her 28-year-old firstborn daughter Brielle spoke candidly about going under the knife to change their appearance. Kim listed multiple procedures, including the 'mommy makeover' she underwent in 2014, which consisted of a tummy tuck and a breast lift. 'I've done my boobs a few times. Then I had a tummy tuck. I did have filler in my lip. I do Botox all the time,' she said. In addition to Brielle, she is also mother to Ariana, 23, Kroy Jr., 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 11, whom she shares with estranged husband Kroy Biermann. 'I sacrificed my body for six incredible humans, so I did a mommy makeover. Just because you're a mom doesn't mean you have to let yourself go,' she explained of her decision to surgically enhance her figure. Kim also shared that she used Ultatherapy, a non-surgical treatment that performs a lift and tightening on the skin, to shape her jaw. She also divulged her non-cosmetic medical history, sharing that she addressed a herniated disc with a neck surgery. However she made no mention of her 'laser vaginal rejuvenation,' which she underwent in 2023 amid her divorce and her reported money problems. Kim disclosed that her reason for going on the Botched spin-off was that she had been hoping 'to go under the skin and tighten it up' with a contouring procedure that ended up having the 'opposite' effect of the one intended. Explaining the thinking behind her extensive surgeries, she said: 'My mom always said growing up, if I had really big ears or a really big nose that bothered me or whatever it may have been, she would have fixed it.' Kim, who had Brielle and Ariana while in previous relationships before they were adopted by Kroy, added: 'I've always kind of said the same thing to my girls.'

Rylan Clark gives update on mum Linda's health after latest hospital dash
The BBC Radio 2 presenter missed a show at the weekend to be beside his mum, as he gave an update on social media. Rylan Clark has provided an update on his mum Linda's health condition following her emergency hospital visit last Friday. The BBC presenter missed his Radio 2 show on Saturday to be by her side. The television personality reassured fans on Saturday morning that she was recovering well. Rylan announced to his followers the good news that she would be discharged from hospital in time to celebrate her 73rd birthday on Sunday, July 20. He wrote on Instagram, "Antibiotics have worked. Letting her home on orals. So she's home for her bday." He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Cheers, everyone, for your messages. Means a lot. Off sort wheelie bins x." Previous updates from Rylan didn't disclose the reason for Linda's recent hospital dash according to reports in the Mirror, but he mentioned, "She's all good. Hoping she will be at home for her bday. She's now worried about wheelie bins going out again." The update comes just days before Linda 's birthday this weekend. Although Rylan has remained quiet on discussing too many details on Linda's recent health scare, he assured fans he would keep them updated as "trooper" Linda recovers. Rylan, who often shares the couch with his mum Linda on Celebrity Gogglebox, first broke the news on social media on Friday. He wrote: : "Mummy Linda isn't well, sadly, so I won't be hosting the show tomorrow." The former Big Brother star went on to thank the medical staff, adding: "Thank you to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Especially Tanya, who really looked after my mum. Will keep you updated as she's on the mend. She's a trooper." He later shared, giving an update: "She's doing really well thankfully. All going good. Cheers for all ur messages." The popular presenter, who hosts his own Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 2, was replaced this weekend by Richie Anderson. Richie, 37, teamed up with former X Factor star Diana Vickers on the programme and reached out to listeners earlier for their "help" before chatting with Diana about her new podcast, Just Between Us. On Instagram, Richie confirmed he would be filling in for Rylan, telling his followers: "I need your help. So tomorrow I'm sitting in for Rylan on Radio 2 and I'm gonna be joined in the studio by the icon Diana Vickers." He encouraged fans to share their dilemmas, stating: "She's got a new podcast out, relationship agony aunt, so we wanna use her advice skills as we do 'Diana's Dilemmas'. So we want your fun household, family, and relationship dilemmas." This comes shortly after Rylan announced that his mum Linda had finally joined Instagram, where she quickly gained over 110,000 followers. Last week, Rylan excitedly shared: "So we've finally done it. Linda is now on Instagram." He also said: "Bear with as she gets used to it but give her a follow if you want," adding, "Can't believe this is happening." Days later, Linda took to social media to post an update. Alongside a photo of herself, Rylan, and the Celebrity Gogglebox team, she penned: "Thank you for 100k followers! Still don't really know what it means but Ross is helping me. This is our lovely Gogglebox crew. Luv yas."
