Hate the leaked Nothing Phone 3 design? These new leaks are bad news for you
In these leaked images, the Nothing Headphone 1 appears once again with its retro-futuristic cassette-inspired look.
Meanwhile, the images for the Nothing Phone 3 indicate we might have to make our peace with the asymmetric and misaligned rear camera setup and the busy back panel.
Nothing is set to launch the Nothing Phone 3 and the Nothing Headphone 1 tomorrow, July 1. Ahead of the launch, more leaks have emerged, showing off marketing renders, but more importantly, confirming that the previously leaked Phone 3 renders might just have been on point.
Reddit user _nilkin_ has shared an image of the Nothing Phone 3 and the Nothing Headphone 1. This appears to be a photo taken of the headphones' feature sheet, and in it, we can spot both the headphones and the Phone 3.
The leaked promo content mentions a few Nothing Headphone 1 features: Clear Voice technology, On Head Detection, and support for both Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.
X user @007_mrnitin has shared a better look at the Phone 3 and Headphone 1 combo:
In the image above, you can notice the periscope zoom camera that Nothing has already confirmed for the Phone 3. Perhaps a bit of a stretch, but there also appears to be a semicircle-shaped LED strip between the periscope zoom camera and the Glyph Matrix module, unless I am over-reading the design element.
These images corroborate that at least one set of previously leaked renders for the Phone 3 could be correct. The first set of leaked Phone 3 renders are looking more and more likely to be incorrect — those may very well be for a Phone 3a prototype instead. Because of the bamboozle, Nothing fans have treated the new renders skeptically too (as one should with all leaks), with many deeming the off-centered camera design 'fake,' especially since the new renders did not include a periscope zoom lens (characterized by its rectangular camera lens opening).
Note that these leaked images still aren't a confirmation from the company, so you should continue treating them with skepticism. You won't have to hold your breath for too long, though, as we'll learn everything straight from the horse's mouth tomorrow.

Meta refuses to sign EU's AI code of practice
Meta has refused to sign the European Union's code of practice for its AI Act, weeks before the bloc's rules for providers of general-purpose AI models take effect. 'Europe is heading down the wrong path on AI,' wrote Meta's chief global affairs officer Joel Kaplan in a post on LinkedIn. 'We have carefully reviewed the European Commission's Code of Practice for general-purpose AI (GPAI) models and Meta won't be signing it. This Code introduces a number of legal uncertainties for model developers, as well as measures which go far beyond the scope of the AI Act.' The EU's code of practice — a voluntary framework published earlier this month — aims to help companies implement processes and systems to comply with the bloc's legislation for regulating AI. Among other things, the code requires companies to provide and regularly update documentation about their AI tools and services and bans developers from training AI on pirated content; companies must also comply with content owners' requests to not use their works in their datasets. Calling the EU's implementation of the legislation 'overreach,' Kaplan claimed that the law will 'throttle the development and deployment of frontier AI models in Europe and will stunt European companies looking to build businesses on top of them.' A risk-based regulation for applications of artificial intelligence, the AI Act bans some 'unacceptable risk' use cases outright, such as cognitive behavioral manipulation or social scoring. The rules also define a set of 'high-risk' uses, such as biometrics and facial recognition, and in domains like education and employment. The act also requires developers to register AI systems and meet risk- and quality-management obligations. Tech companies from across the world, including those at the forefront of the AI race like Alphabet, Meta, Microsoft, and Mistral AI, have been fighting the rules, even urging the European Commission to delay its rollout. But the Commission has held firm, saying it will not change its timeline. Also on Friday, the EU published guidelines for providers of AI models ahead of rules that will go into effect on August 2. These rules would affect providers of 'general-purpose AI models with systemic risk,' like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Meta. Companies that have such models on the market before August 2 will have to comply with the legislation by August 2, 2027. Sign in to access your portfolio

ASML (ASML) Gets EUR700 Price Target From Deutsche Bank — Analysts Stick With ‘Buy' Despite Headwinds
ASML Holding N.V. (NASDAQ:ASML) is one of the AI Stocks on Wall Street's Radar. On July 17, Deutsche Bank analyst Robert Sanders lowered the price target on the stock to EUR700.00 (from EUR750.00) while maintaining a 'Buy' rating. The price target reduction follows ASML narrowing its 2025 sales growth forecast to 15%. It now expects sales to grow roughly 32.50 billion euros ($37.71 billion). The firm is particularly concerned about ASML's lowered extreme ultraviolet (EUV) unit shipment forecast for 2025. The forecast was reduced from 'below 50' low NA shipments to just 42 units, which suggests execution issues at key customers, Intel and Samsung. It noted how Intel has bought a fleet of EUV equipment for its 18A technology ramp. However, it seems to be experiencing difficulties, particularly for external customers. A street-level view of a large financial firm, symbolizing the strength of the company's investments. For Samsung, the firm's analysis reveals that the company kept on investing despite the DRAM market being down. As a result, there is an excess of High-Bandwidth Memory (HBM) capacity, but it's still waiting on Nvidia for approval. ASML Holding N.V. (NASDAQ:ASML) develops and sells advanced semiconductor equipment, including lithography, metrology, and inspection systems for chip manufacturing. While we acknowledge the potential of ASML as an investment, we believe certain AI stocks offer greater upside potential and carry less downside risk.
