Bob Vylan set to play Boardmasters festival near Newquay
The band is due to perform on the festival's main stage at 17:00 BST on 10 August.
Festival organisers told the Local Democracy Reporting Service they had spoken to Devon and Cornwall Police and other relevant partners about the performance."Due to statutory timelines any formal hearing will take place after this year's festival," the spokesperson said."As such, this year's event will not be affected by the review process and will go ahead as planned."We are working closely with the licensing authority and relevant partners to understand and respond to the issues raised."
'Respectful and safe'
The spokesperson added the festival was committed to being "a space where people from all backgrounds feel welcome and safe"."We do not tolerate hate speech, incitement to violence or behaviour that puts anyone at risk, and we will continue to uphold these principles throughout the event and beyond," the spokesperson said."Our decision to proceed with the performance reflects a balance of factors, including the festival's careful consideration of recent concerns, our ongoing dialogue with stakeholders and the band's agreement to the terms of their participation."We have been clear with the band and their representatives about our expectations particularly the importance of maintaining a respectful and safe environment for everyone attending, working at or involved in the festival."
Bob Vylan's comments at Glastonbury were aired live by the BBC, with the broadcaster later saying it should have cut away from the performance, which is no longer available to view on the iPlayer.Following their comments during the performance, the band said they had been "targeted for speaking up".The band have had performances at other festivals cancelled and been pulled as a support act on Gogol Bordello's European tour.Avon and Somerset Police said it had launched an investigation into whether comments made by Bob Vylan or fellow Glastonbury performers Kneecap amounted to a criminal offence.

Marnie and partner Casey Johnson, 29, are already parents to Rox, five, and Oax, two. She announced she was pregnant again in February of this year and fans guessed straight away she was having a girl, as she used the backing track Lullaby to my Daughter. Sharing a video clip, Marnie wrote: 'Here we go again.' The star had a very difficult first birth and while pregnant with her second child she insisted she would not have any more. She said at the time: 'I would not go to three,' she said. 'I think you've got to find the balance for yourselves. "We want to enjoy our lives as well. We've not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.' Marnie previously described her first labour, which lasted 28 hours, as traumatic and insisted on having a c-section the second time round. The reality star was diagnosed with a chronic UTI in 2016 and after giving birth to baby Rox in 2019, her symptoms began to get a lot worse. Marnie got engaged to X Factor singer Casey back in 2020, and they wed in May 2023. The pair met on the show Single AF in 2017. They confirmed their relationship just a few months after the show ended - a move that is against show rules but it didn't seem to worry the smitten love-birds. Marnie rose to fame when she first appeared on Geordie Shore in 2013. Her life changed forever and she landed a string of TV work, before making the decision become an OnlyFans creator and she joined the adult subscription site in 2022. Marnie has been forced to defend her decision to strip off and share sexy lingerie photos on her platform.
