The Sun exclusively revealed how season two of the show was under threat due to costs - which saw the show hit the £10M mark to make.
But now survival expert Bear has insisted that the show IS coming back.
Talking on BBC Radio 2 at the weekend, he said: 'God willing, we are bringing Bear Hunt back.
'And we're hoping to do it live so it's going to be a live version, which Netflix have never done before - raw, real, hunt them down!'
But if it does come back it sounds like he would want Holly to come back on it with him, as he couldn't stop gushing about the former This Morning host.
Bear said: "Holly was so fun to work with, I'd never had that before working alongside someone like that, she hasn't had an easy journey but what a great girl she did brilliantly, she really did."
Unfortunately the viewing figures didn't quite match up to the substantial hype around the show, which included celebrities ranging from Mel B, Lottie Moss, Danny Ciprian i and Boris Becker.
AXE FEARS
The Sun revealed earlier this month that the reality jungle adventure is yet to be approved for a second series by Netflix despite several meetings.
Bosses want to bring it back but hosts Bear and Holly could face pay cuts if they do.
A cheaper location is also being sought, as well as plans for fewer expensive celebrities.

A source said: 'It got excellent reviews and was a brilliant production.
'Bosses were happy with its performance.
'Yet if it is recommissioned, cuts will 100 per cent be made and this could include talent salaries — both Holly and Bear as well as the celebs.
'All measures are being explored.
'As to location, think Clacton or Croatia, not Costa Rica.'
Netflix was approached for a comment.

Will there be a series four of Ginny and Georgia after huge plot twist finale

Series three of Ginny and Georgia left on a huge cliff-hanger- so will there be a series four? The third series of hit Netflix show Ginny and Georgia dropped onto the streaming platform on Thursday, June 5, and super fans have already finished binging all 10 episodes. But, after a cliff-hanger ending (spoilers ahead) viewers are on the edge of their seats, wondering if a fourth series has been confirmed. Series three of Sarah Lampert's comedy-drama, which focuses on teen Ginny and her 30-year-old mum Georgia, picked up after the jaw-dropping events of the series two finale, in which Georgia was arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller at her wedding to Wellsbury mayor Paul Randolph. Georgia's son Austin, who was playing hide-and-seek and hiding in the wardrobe of Tom's room, had witnessed the act as Georgia smothered Tom with a pillow. The third season primarily focuses on the murder trial, with Georgia facing a possible prison sentence. In a shocking turn of events, Austin frames his father, Gil, for the murder he knows was committed by his mum. But aside from this twisted crime and resulting trial, a huge plot twist that came at the end of the series was that both Ginny and Georgia discover that they are pregnant, after Georgia had faked a pregnancy earlier in series three. And what's more, we don't know the identity of the father of Georgia's baby. So, will fans be blessed with another series of this twist-after-twist comedy-drama? Luckily, the show was renewed for a fourth series at the same time its third series was confirmed, back in 2023. But viewers will have to wait until then to find out the aftermath of Ginny and Georgia's fast-paced series three finale. And its fourth series is planned to be its last ever. Showrunner Debra J. Fisher revealed to the Hollywood Reporter that the Netflix show was always planned to run for four series, and that they had already mapped out plans for Ginny and Georgia's final episode. The showrunner told the publication: "When Sarah [Lampert] and I pitched the show to Netflix, we did pitch four seasons, so we know what we want the end game to be. 'We know what we want the last episode to be.' Although the fourth series of the beloved show is yet to receive a confirmed release date, fans can expect to wait around two years, as has been the norm for the previous series. Ginny and Georgia series one came out in 2021, series two in 2023, and series three in 2025. And fans are devastated to have to wait, expressing their eagerness for series four on social media. One fan said on X: "Just finished season 3 of Ginny and Georgia. An amazing season, I need season 4 on my desk tomorrow!" Another user wrote: "Just got done with season 3 and Georgia is still mother, Joe is still hot af, Paul DILF card got revoked, not any cringe worthy moments from Ginny, and Ellen still being Georgia best friend throughout every thing with that said give me season 4". Marnie Simpson insists she has 'no regrets' over stripping off on OnlyFans and vows to continue while she's 'young' as she fires back at mum-shamers

has insisted that she has 'no regrets' over stripping off on OnlyFans as she fired back at mum-shamers. The Georgie Shore star, 33, who is currently pregnant with her third child, joined the adult subscription website back in 2022 and has since thrilled fans with an array of sizzling lingerie snaps - which she's told is not 'explicit', but 'applied nudity.' And in a new interview, Marnie told how she has no plans to stop showcasing her figure and will continue to do so while she's 'young' as she praised the 'empowering' platform. Marnie went on to note that while she's used to criticism following her years of starring on the controversial MTV show, she remarked that 'no one should have the right to judge others' when it comes to their choices in life. Speaking to The Sun about her decision to share racy photos on the X-rated social media platform, Marnie said she has 'no regrets', explaining: 'While I'm young, I'm going to embrace my body and I'm really proud of my body. Then why not.. I feel empowered by embracing it.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop Following her explicit and drunken antics on Geordie Shore, Marnie told how she's been 'judged and mum-shamed' over the years, but she feels the tide is changing when it comes to adult content creation. She said: 'I honestly feel the stigma and taboo is already breaking down. As the years go by, it's becoming more normalised. So many girls and women and ladies are just having that choice for themselves and I think it's really empowering.' She added that adult content creation is a 'normal thing now' with less 'stigma' than in the past, with the stunner going on to insist that in the current climate, no one should be passing judgement on others for choosing to strip off. Marnie shared: 'I definitely like where it's going because no one should have the right to judge others, there shouldn't really be a stigma around it because not everyone is doing the same thing on there - it's each to their own.' Meanwhile, while she's proud of her OnlyFans career, the reality star also said she doesn't 'live with regret' amid her past antics on Geordie Shore, which she starred in on and off between 2013 to 2025. She told that with the way the world is currently, she doesn't feel that her TV past needs to be 'a conversation' when her children grow older, revealing she has a 'very open and honest' relationship with her family. In February, Marnie opened up about how she plans to talk to her children about her career on the X-rated social media platform, OnlyFans. The beauty is expecting her third child with husband Casey Johnson. The couple already share two sons, Rox, five, and Oax, two. She told new magazine: 'All I'm trying to do is create an amazing life for my family and myself. I've raised my children to be good people, not to judge, and to always be supportive. 'I don't think it'll even need to be a discussion - they know me inside out. Plus, I did much worse on Geordie Shore!' When asked about the type of content she shares on the adult platform, the reality star clarified: 'I'm not classed as an explicit account - it's more applied nudity.' It comes after Marnie announced her pregnancy with a black-and-white video featuring her ultrasound and touching moments of her children cradling her bump. Fans were shocked by the news, as Marnie had previously insisted she wouldn't have a third child due to her past difficult pregnancies. When pregnant with her second child, she stated: 'I would not go to three. I think you've got to find the balance for yourselves. 'We want to enjoy our lives as well. We've not waited too long to have kids and I feel like having two, we can give them the best life possible.' Casey and Marnie first became an item in June 2017 after they appeared on the reality show, Single AF together. The couple tied the knot in 2023.
