Brad Bird, who wrote and directed the first two films, is still on board to write the third movie. However, Bird will not be directing this film, and it seems as if his schedule is keeping him from directing the third movie. He's currently in pre-production on Ray Gunn, a movie for Skydance.

Not too much is known about Incredibles 3, although the movie was officially announced last year with a new logo. The franchise originally began in 2004, with the first movie following a family of superheroes trying to hide their powers and live a normal life.

The first film was a major success for Disney and Pixar, earning over $600 million at the global box office. 14 years later, a sequel to the film was released, which dealt with the family of superheroes now trying to restore the public's trust in superheroes. That movie was also a massive hit, and made over $1.2 billion at the global box office.
The Incredibles franchise has largely starred Craig T. Nelson as Robert 'Bob' Parr/Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Helen Parr/Elastigirl/Mrs. Incredible, Sarah Vowell as Violet Parr, Spencer Fox and Huckleberry Milner as Dashiell 'Dash' Parr, Samuel L. Jackson as Lucius Best/Frozone, and Brad Bird as Edna 'E' Mode.

Joe Jonas Seemingly Gives Camp Rock 3 Update
Believe it or not, it's been 17 whole years since the Jonas Brothers starred in Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam — aka two of Disney Channel's greatest original movies of all time. Joe, Nick, and Kevin respectively played Shane, Nate, and Jason in the fan-favorite films, while Disney alum Demi Lovato starred as protagonist Mitchie. Over the weekend, speculation about a potential third Camp Rock movie began bubbling after the Jonas Brothers reunited with Demi on stage during the opening night of their tour. Demi and Joe — whose onscreen Camp Rock romance briefly made its way off-screen as well back in the late 2000s — sang a medley of hits from the movie, marking the first time that the exes had performed together in about a decade. Well, now, it looks like Joe might've just given us an update on a potential Camp Rock 3. During a recent appearance with his brothers on Hot Ones Versus, Joe was asked to read his latest notes app entry out loud. Wasting no time, Joe unlocked his phone and said, 'Read Camp Rock 3.' Reacting to Joe's candid comment, Nick looked shocked as he stared directly at the camera, while Kevin let out an awkward laugh. 'That's pretty good,' Nick eventually said, while Kevin echoed, 'That's a pretty good one.' Joe said, 'It's the truth! It's literally right here,' before adding, 'Sorry, Disney.' Well then… We'll keep you posted if and when more unfolds. You can find the Jonas Brothers' Hot Ones Versus video here. Do you love all things TV and movies? When does 'Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical' debut? How to watch new Peanuts special
The Peanuts gang is going to summer camp. Unfortunately, in the new Apple TV+ special, 'Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical,' when Charlie Brown & Co. arrive at the camp, they learn it is closing. While it's Charlie Brown's last year at the camp, he had hoped his sister Sally, camping for the first time, would also get to have multiple years there. Among their adventures, Snoopy and Woodstock discover a treasure map, which leads them to a trove of musical instruments, prompting the kids to decide to perform a musical to save the camp. The special is directed by Erik Wiese, best known for his work on "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Sonic Prime," and written by Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz's son, Craig Schulz, and his son, Bryan Schulz, along with Cornelius Uliano (they co-wrote 2015's "The Peanuts Movie"). The duo is also among the special's co-executive producers. Original music for the special is created by Emmy-nominated singer and songwriter Ben Folds — also the one-time artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra — whose songs in the special include "Leave It Better," which can be heard in the trailer. Disney settles with actor fired for controversial social media posts
This story was originally published on HR Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily HR Dive newsletter. Disney agreed to settle wrongful termination and discrimination claims filed in February 2024 by Gina Carano, court documents filed Thursday show. 'The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm are pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with Gina Carano to resolve the issues in her pending lawsuit against the companies,' a Lucasfilm spokesperson said in a statement to Variety. 'With this lawsuit concluded, we look forward to identifying opportunities to work together with Ms. Carano in the near future.' Carano, an actor who played Rebel ranger Cara Dune on Disney's 'The Mandalorian' television series, alleged she was fired from her role on the show in 2021 over conservative posts shared on social media sites, including X. Carano alleged the company terminated her in response to public pressure despite 'looking the other way' when it came to male colleagues expressing similar views. The case gained prominence when Elon Musk said he would back the lawsuit, following on a promise made several months earlier to fund the legal bills for those treated unfairly by their employer for expressing themselves on X. The lawsuit brought attention to a unique California labor code that prohibits employers from preventing or controlling employees' political activity. A 2020 analysis of the provision by law firm Seyfarth warned California employers to 'tread carefully' when taking action against an employee based on political activity, noting that the term continues to develop and 'encompasses quite a bit of conduct.' Court documents did not outline the terms of the settlement between Disney and Carano, but do show the parties filed for a joint stipulation for dismissal with prejudice in federal court in California. 'I have come to an agreement with Disney/Lucasfilm @disney @Lucasfilm which I believe is the best outcome for all parties involved,' Carano said in a post on X. 'I hope this brings some healing to the force.' Recommended Reading Poor interview tanked White athletic director's race bias claim, 7th Cir. says
