Tears as Young Horse Plays Alone With Giant Ball as Siblings Ignore Him

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A young horse's struggle to be accepted by his older siblings has gone viral on social media, and internet users can't cope with what the lonely equine does to keep himself entertained while the others avoid him. In a viral TikTok video shared on Wednesday by @heatherrrr.979, the black and white horse, Flynn, can be seen playing alone with a giant ball, enthusiastically running up and down his owner's ranch over and over. "Flynn playing by himself all day because none of the big horses like him yet," the poster wrote over the clip, adding a heart emoji. She added in the caption: "'Please tell me they like him now.' They do not. But he's ok, he has his ball." Previous videos shared by the poster show the young horse trying his best to befriend the older horses, who appear to have no interest in him. Horses are naturally highly social animals, and no normal healthy horse would ever live alone by choice, according to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Horses that live in herds often engage in social activities, such as playing or grooming each other, communicating primarily through body language. Living in herds offers horses more safety. In the wild, a horse living alone is much more likely to be caught by a predator than one who lives in a herd. This means that lonely horses are often nervous due to their constant state of alertness. On the other hand, those living in herds can take turns and rest, sharing responsibilities among each other. Horses that are kept alone may also become stressed due to not receiving the benefits of equine companionship. Stock image of a young horse on a ranch. A TikTok user commented: "My goodness.... Here I am crying more again. I'm way too sensitive for this. Please give this sweet boy extra loving for me. Tell him how strangers online adore him. Please." Another user wrote: "They're jealous because Flynn doesn't need their approval." One commenter said: "Oh wow, I didn't realize this was a thing with horses. When will young Flynn be accepted?" Newsweek reached out to @heatherrrr.979 for comment via TikTok. We could not verify the details of the case. Justin Baldoni continuing legal fight against Blake Lively after dismissal

(NewsNation) — Justin Baldoni's team says it isn't finished after a judge dismissed its case against Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. In a statement, Baldoni's attorney, Bryan Freedman, said that Lively and her team's 'predictable declaration of victory is false.' Freedman also said the court is allowing Baldoni and his team to amend four of the seven claims it made against his former 'It Ends With Us' co-star. Judge Lewis J. Liman also dropped Baldoni's $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times. The deadline for Baldoni's team to make those amendments is June 23. What is Simone Biles' net worth? Baldoni's attorney's full statement reads: 'Ms. Liveley and her team's predictable declaration of victory is false, so let us be clear about the latest ruling. While the Court dismissed the defamation related claims, the Court has invited us to amend four out of the seven claims against Ms. Lively, which will showcase additional evidence and refined allegations.' 'This case is about false accusations of sexual harassment and retaliation and a nonexistent smear campaign, which Ms. Lively's team conveniently describes as 'untraceable' because they cannot prove what never happened. Most importantly, Ms. Lively's own claims are no truer today than they were yesterday, and with the facts on our side, we march forward with the same confidence that we had when Ms. Lively and her cohorts initiated this battle and look forward to her forthcoming deposition, which I will be taking.' 'We are grateful for the organic show of support from the public and for the dedication of the internet sleuth community who continue to cover the case with discernment and integrity.' After the judge dismissed Baldoni's suits, Lively's legal team said it was 'a total victory and a complete vindication.' Lively's lawyers, Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson, told Us Weekly: 'As we have said from day one, this '$400 million' lawsuit was a sham, and the Court saw right through it. We look forward to the next round, which is seeking attorneys' fees, treble damages and punitive damages against Baldoni, Sarowitz, Nathan and the other Wayfarer Parties who perpetrated this abusive litigation.' Lively also made a statement, saying that she would continue to defend women's rights. In an Instagram story, she said, 'Like so many others, I've felt the pain of a retaliatory lawsuit, including the manufactured shame that tries to break us.' She also said the suit against her 'was defeated,' and there are some 'incredible organizations' that can help women in a situation similar to hers. 'With love and gratitude for the many who stood by me, many of you I know. Many of you I don't. But I will never stop appreciating or advocating for you,' she ended the post. Lively originally brought a lawsuit against Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment. One insider told NewsNation's Paula Froelich in February that Lively and Reynolds 'have no idea what's coming down the pike.' Lively claimed in her lawsuit that sales of her haircare brand, Blake Brown, plummeted by nearly 78% after what she calls a 'social manipulation campaign.' Billie Eilish's brother Finneas says he was tear-gassed during LA ICE protest A person close to Target, which sells Lively's haircare brand, told Puck that the brand is set to do 'less than $15 million' in sales in 2025. The source claimed that Blake Brown was previously a $100 million brand. Another source told Froelich that no one has wanted to work with Lively since the lawsuits. A trial for Lively's suit against Baldoni has been scheduled for March 2026. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Marvel's ‘Deadpool & Wolverine' Secrets Are Safe Again, Even the ‘Nicepool' Ones

Justin Baldoni's defamation case against Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, which included the character as part of its claims, was tossed out earlier this week. The Justin Baldoni-Blake Lively legal battle isn't something io9 would normally cover—but when Marvel got pulled into the fray, we took a little more interest. Deadpool & Wolverine, starring and co-written by Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds, famously featured a Deadpool variant played by Reynolds that seemingly mocked Lively's It Ends With Us co-star and director Baldoni. Though the character was dubbed 'Nicepool,' Baldoni didn't take kindly to the portrayal. The issue became part of the defamation lawsuit Baldoni filed against Lively and Reynolds, in the wake of the suit Lively filed against Baldoni accusing him of misconduct during the making of It Ends With Us. It's been a big back-and-forth of Hollywood spin and legalese, but Marvel fans perked up when, as part of the suit, Baldoni's lawyers wanted access to Marvel documents pertaining to the development of the Nicepool character. In late April, Marvel pushed back, explaining in a letter shared on Deadline that 'the requested documents are particularly sensitive because they relate to the development of a character in an ongoing movie franchise.' It went on to explain that the 'crossover' way of storytelling is a foundational part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—something any Marvel fan, including anyone who saw Deadpool & Wolverine, can understand—and 'whether and how such elements will appear in upcoming, unreleased projects is the subject of much public interest, and this information is closely guarded by Marvel.' Basically, Marvel was worried that if certain documents became public as part of Baldoni's lawsuit, they could potentially spoil what Marvel has coming in the future, particularly as it pertains to Deadpool (or even Nicepool, though we can't imagine Reynolds is in a hurry to bring him back after all this). But with Baldoni's defamation lawsuit being tossed out this week, Variety reports, Marvel can breathe a little easier. While the legal clash between Baldoni and Lively is still in play—on Baldoni's side, he can still file an 'amended complaint by June 23 regarding interference with contracts'—Nicepool is now off the table. According to Variety, Judge Lewis Liman's ruling included the following: 'The motion by Marvel Entertainment, LLC ('Marvel') to quash a subpoena issued to Marvel from the [production company] Wayfarer Parties and for a protective order prohibiting the disclosure of Marvel's confidential documents is GRANTED.' 'The information sought is no longer relevant to a claim or defense in this action. Moreover, assuming the information were relevant, it would not be proportional to the needs of the case and the potential harm to Marvel of disclosing confidential commercial information.'
