But a report by NDTV says that he has travelled there for his regular treatment and care and the actor goes there often. The source further added that Shah Rukh has been in the U.S since the second week of July. He is expected to return by the end of this month to resume shooting. Shah Rukh Khan collaborated with singer Akon for his 2011 superhero film 15 years later, the superstar could bring another singer on board for his mega-ambitious King. This time, it's none other than Ed Sheeran. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Sheeran's song Sapphire has a cameo by SRK and here's the video that has gone viral: A fan club shared that clip on Instagram and wrote, 'Can't wait for the full Punjabi version.' And this is what Sheeran wrote- 'The Hindi song was for a Bollywood movie SRK is doing, this is the Punjabi version of Sapphire with Arijit. I'm just doing all languages at this point.' Shah Rukh Khan starrer King has just got bigger and grander. Superman Day 9 India Box Office: David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan's film observes good 80 percent growth from Friday BUT...
Superman, directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult and others, grew by a good 80 percent from 2nd Friday to net Rs 3 crore on its 2nd Saturday. Clubbed with its first 8 day collections, the total of the James Gunn directorial stands at Rs 37.40 crore. By the end of the 2nd weekend, Superman should be standing at a number of over Rs 40 crore net. The Day Wise India Net Collections Of Superman Are As Under Particulars India Net Collections Week 1 Rs 32.75 crore 2nd Friday Rs 1.65 crore 2nd Saturday Rs 3 crore Total Rs 37.40 crore in 9 days Superman's Collections In India So Far Are Underwhelming; To Cross Rs 40 Crore Net On Day 10 The total collections of Superman after 9 days are slightly underwhelming. The movie should have been doing significantly better than what it is doing. In the weekdays, the day-on-day collections of a 3 and a half week old film, F1, should be higher. Jurassic World: Rebirth, over its 3rd weekend, is already ahead and that's enough proof of the superhero film's underperformance in India. As things stand, a Rs 50 crore net finish is what is expected from Superman. Even that depends on how the film reacts once Fantastic Four: First Steps releases. Superman Is Doing Exceptionally In The Domestic Markets Superman is performing better in the domestic markets. It has crossed USD 200 million in US/Canada on 2nd Saturday and is heading for a lifetime of USD 375 million or so. The global collections of the David Corenswet film shall have crossed USD 400 million by the end of its second weekend, setting the movie well for a lifetime cume of over USD 600 million. Given how DC has been losing credibility over the last few years, these are really appreciable numbers. If James Gunn propels DCU in the right direction, the brand will get back the dedicated following it once enjoyed. There surely is a lot of scope left in this Comic Book brand. Superman In Theatres

F1 Day 23 India Box Office: Brad Pitt's film grows by 65 percent on 4th Saturday despite Saiyaara wave; Nets an exceptional Rs 2.50 crore
F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Brad Pitt, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem and others is the biggest success story among Hollywood movies in India this year. F1 's opening day multiplier is a mindboggling 14 times after 23 days and by the end of its run, it can be even 16 or 17 times, given the excellent collections that the film is still registering after 3 weeks, that too with new local competition every week. F1 Grows By 65 Percent On 4th Saturday To Add Rs 2.50 Crore Net; Remains Unaffected By Saiyaara F1 collected Rs 1.50 crore on 4th Friday, actually growing by 25 percent from 3rd Thursday. The movie registered a 65 percent growth on Saturday to collect Rs 2.50 crore net. The total collections of the film stand at Rs 76.50 crore net after 23 days and by the end of day 24, it will be flirting with Rs 80 crore net. The Day Wise India Net Collections Of F1 In India Are As Under F1 Has Enjoyed The Best World Of Mouth For A Hollywood Film In A Long Time F1 opened to modest Rs 5.50 crore net including few early screenings. For it to reach this far is a testament of how strong the movie's word of mouth is. What's most surprising is that close to Rs 15 crore net of the film has come after it lost its IMAX exclusivity to Superman, and there's obviously a lot more to come. If all goes well, it can hit Rs 90 crore net too. And there's no reason not to believe it won't go well since the movie has been defying every trade prediction with a hold that not many films get to see. There is an outside chance that it may cross Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning in the country, and that would be insane because the opening of F1 was practically a third of the former. F1 Is Kosinski And Pitt's Highest India Grosser F1 is the highest grossing Kosinski and Pitt film in India. The fact that both F1 is Kosinski and Pitt's highest Indian grosser when they literally have higher global grossers shows how much the Indian market for Hollywood films has grown. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more box office updates of F1.
