Lady Gaga spotted at Maxwell Food Centre day after her second show
Lady Gaga pulled off an Abracadabra move on Tuesday afternoon (May 20) by suddenly appearing at Singapore's iconic hawker centre, Maxwell Food Centre.
Dressed in an all-black ensemble, including a bodysuit, Prada sunglasses and platform boots, Mother Monster was seen sampling hawker fare as Little Monsters nearby slowly but surely were alerted to her presence.
The 39-year-old Grammy winner was with her entourage, and the group appeared to have ordered multiple cups of Milo Dinosaur as well as bottles of Tsingtao and Chang beers.
According to netizens, Lady Gaga was seated at table 171 – right in front of the popiah stall, Fortune Popiah.
Fans who were there mostly admired Gaga from afar. However, a few of them did approach Gaga's table and interact with her.
As she and her crew prepared to leave Maxwell Food Centre, a small crowd formed and cheered for her.
She even briefly stopped and signed a fan's copy of her Mayhem album, en route to her vehicle.

Tagging the location as a coffeeshop at Blk 9012 Tampines Street 93, the former Mediacorp artiste formally introduced his stall in his first-ever TikTok. He wrote in the caption: 'A new beginning. Thank you for being part of it. That day at the stall was a wake-up call. Your kindness gave me strength to reflect and figure out my next steps. The road ahead is mine to walk — and it's a path I've chosen for myself. I'll be sharing this journey with you.' In early June, a social media user posted the first sighting of Zhang standing in front of the cash register and appearing to be taking orders from customers. Amid the hustle and bustle, the user noted that he was polite and humble, and he was working that day because his employee had resigned. On March 18, a Facebook post by the Tampines Small and Medium Enterprises Association (TSMEA) indicated that Zhang's stall was newly opened during that period and serves traditonal steamed dishes like egg, meat, fish and prawns. Zhang said in his video: 'I know there were many friends, even loyal customers, who took pictures of me helping out here last week. I am very grateful for all the encouragement I've received on social media. 'I would like to take the opportunity to thank the people by my side who have been silently supporting me, as well as the friends who have come over after seeing the reports.' He also credited his long-time friend Catherine Chew for encouraging him to create a TikTok account. 'I'm touched by her sincerity, as well as her eagerness for the public to see another side of me. She has also introduced me to several bosses, who want to collaborate with me on TikTok in the future.' The bachelor's image took a hit in July 2024 when rumours surfaced about him fathering children out of wedlock with women of different nationalities. In November 2024, Zhang took to Instagram to commemorate his holiday to South Korea with his two daughters, confirming his fatherhood for the first time. Gaming firm Razer and food company Mars announce official joint venture with snack line
On Monday (Jun 9), gaming firm Razer and food manufacturer Mars announced an official joint venture to take their partnership line, Respawn, to the next level with a new range of products in the future. Razer, co-founded by Singaporean entrepreneur Min-Liang Tan, previously conceived the Respawn snack line as an April Fool's joke. It was then launched as a project offering flavoured drinks. Razer then collaborated with Mars to release gum and mints under the Respawn brand. Some of the current products in the range include Blackberry Vanilla and Mango Habanero mints, as well as Pomegranate Watermelon gum. According to Razer and Mars, the joint venture will see them developing "a full portfolio of snack products made for gamers, by gamers". In a statement, Tan said that Respawn "represents a strategic evolution in the expansion of Razer's mission to serve the global gaming community". "Our collaboration with Mars extends our gamer-centric ecosystem into the world of snacks," said Tan. "Respawn is a platform designed to redefine how gamers fuel their play, with snacks purposefully crafted to match the energy, focus and intensity of modern gameplay."
