Nissan Rolls Out Next-Gen Connected Services Across Patrol Lineup in the Middle East
Nissan is elevating the connected driving experience in the Middle East with the regional rollout of its next-generation Connected Car Services 2.0 (CCS 2.0), now available across the entire Patrol lineup, including the all-new PRO-4X and NISMO editions. Building on the momentum of the all-new Patrol launch earlier this year, the brand is focusing on delivering a smarter, more integrated ownership and driving journey through advanced digital connectivity. At the heart of this innovation is the MyNissan app, which offers a range of enhanced features to strengthen the connection between driver and vehicle. Leading this digital transformation is the global debut of the MyNissan Ownership feature in the Middle East. Available through MyNissan App, the feature offers four essential services: booking a service appointment, scheduling a test drive, locating a nearby Nissan dealer, and discovering local attractions. Designed to simplify routine interactions, this intuitive tool reflects Nissan's commitment to delivering customer-first innovations that begin well before the engine starts. Through Connected Car Services 2.0, Patrol owners can now access a wide array of remote functions and real-time data. These include remote locking and unlocking, monitoring the status of doors, windows, and trunk, starting the engine, and pre-setting the cabin temperature from anywhere via the MyNissan app. The system also delivers live vehicle health diagnostics, providing updates on the status of critical components such as battery, oil pressure, tire condition, airbags, and more. This empowers owners to stay informed and in control of their vehicle's condition at all times. Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President – Middle East, KSA, CIS – Nissan and INFINITI, said: 'The Middle East continues to play a pivotal role in Nissan's global innovation journey, and we are proud that the new ownership experience within the MyNissan app made its world debut here in the region. With the all-new Patrol, we have elevated the connected driving experience across every touchpoint, from CCS 2.0 enhancements to the expanded capabilities of the MyNissan app. As we continue rolling out the app, our goal is to unify and simplify how our customers interact with their vehicle and with Nissan.' Connectivity inside the cabin has also been redefined. The Patrol is the first Nissan vehicle in the region to offer Google built-in, enabling seamless access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Google Play directly from the vehicle's 28.6-inch Monolith display. An embedded internet connection ensures continuous updates and reliable access to online services, transforming the Patrol into a fully connected SUV. In addition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto allow drivers to stay connected to their digital lives effortlessly, enhancing safety, personalization, and convenience. The rollout of these enhanced connected services is now live across all Patrol models in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with further expansion to additional models and countries planned in the coming months as part of Nissan's broader digital strategy. This expansion underscores Nissan's long-term vision for a fully connected and customer-centric mobility ecosystem. The complete Patrol line-up including the recently-launched all-new Patrol PRO-4X, and Middle East-exclusive all-new Patrol NISMO, is now available through Nissan's partner network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the wider region.

After-sales services and sales of Nissan Genuine Oil saw significant growth, while spare parts revenue rose by 21%. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Nissan Saudi Arabia announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, reporting an 11% increase in sales compared to the same period last year. This growth was accompanied by continued customer confidence in after-sales services, affirming the company's strong and sustained performance and reinforcing its position as a leader in the automotive sector in Saudi Arabia and the broader region. This sales growth comes despite a 4.5% decline in the local market, driven by strong demand for the all-new X-Trail and the new Patrol models. The X-Trail led with 38% of total sales, followed by the all-new Patrol at 24%, and Magnite at 16%, reflecting Nissan's diverse lineup and its ability to meet the needs of various customer segments in the Saudi market. Geographically, the central and western regions reported the highest performance, with the central region accounting for 66% of total sales, followed by the western region with 23%. On the after-sales front, Nissan Saudi Arabia continued to deliver strong results with a 27% increase in performance. This was supported by a 21% increase in spare parts revenue, enabled by improvements in supply chain efficiency, faster parts availability, and enhanced logistics from distribution centers, all of which helped better serve customer needs and reduce waiting times. Nissan Genuine Oil sales also grew by 17%, signaling growing customer trust in company-certified products. Meanwhile, after-sales satisfaction indicators remained stable and in line with expectations, both in terms of customer satisfaction and retention levels. This demonstrates Nissan's ongoing commitment to delivering reliable service based on quality, responsiveness, and operational excellence, contributing to higher customer loyalty and brand strength. Commenting on the results, Adib Takieddine, Managing Director of Nissan Saudi Arabia, said: 'Q1 results reflect the deep trust the Nissan brand holds in the Saudi market. The sustained growth in sales, rising demand for our new models, and robust after-sales performance all indicate that we are firmly on track to achieve our operational and commercial objective'. He added: 'Saudi Arabia remains one of the most dynamic and strategically important markets in the region, with immense growth potential and a customer base that embraces innovation. We are committed to reinforcing our leadership through advanced mobility solutions, exceptional ownership experiences, and initiatives that align with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, ensuring Nissan remains a trusted partner in shaping the future of mobility in Saudi Arabia.' Nissan Formula E Team confirms Rowland and Nato for Season 12
Nissan Formula E Team is delighted to confirm that its driver line-up for the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship will remain unchanged, with Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato continuing to race with the team. Following a strong Season 11 which saw Nissan Formula E Team take third in the Teams' Championship, its best result since the Japanese automaker fully took over, the outfit is looking to continue its ascending trajectory next season. The team is maintaining a consistent line-up, thus allowing the drivers to build on the positive work completed both on and off-track during the 2024/25 campaign and to keep pushing together in the same direction. Current Formula E World Champion Oliver Rowland will continue with the team for a sixth season as part of a multi-year deal and after a superb campaign, which saw him secure the Drivers' Championship with three pole positions and seven podiums, including four victories. The British driver made his full-time series debut with the Japanese outfit in Season 5, which was also Nissan's first in Formula E, and raced with the team for three years. Returning ahead of Season 10, Rowland hit the ground running with a strong campaign, before earning his maiden world title in Season 11. Norman Nato, who tackles his third season with Nissan Formula E Team, will continue to race alongside Rowland. A race winner in the series, the French driver first joined the squad in Season 9, where he was a regular points scorer, also taking the team's first podium under full Nissan ownership in Rome. He returned after a year away to team up with Rowland, showing consistent speed on track and claiming pole position in Miami. Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal, Nissan Formula E Team: 'Following a very successful season, we've decided to maintain our driver line-up for Season 12. We're keen to consolidate our operations as we look to further improve on the work carried out both on and off-track since we took full control of our operations in the sport. I am sure that the stability and consistency that we've built with both Oli and Norman will help us continue our remarkable progression and fight for all three championships again next season.' Oliver Rowland, driver, Nissan Formula E Team: 'I'm thrilled to sign with Nissan Formula E Team on a multi-year deal, in what will be my sixth season with the squad. What we've managed to achieve following my return in 2023/24 has been remarkable. Since I came to Formula E, the team has felt like my home, and I have a high level of trust with them as well as plenty of support. The aim for Season 12 is to replicate and improve on what we did last campaign, but we know how hard we need to work in the off-season to achieve the best results possible.' Norman Nato, driver, Nissan Formula E Team: 'I'm delighted to continue with Nissan Formula E Team for another season as it was always the target to extend my stay here. It'll be my third campaign with the team and my second consecutive one, which gives me a lot of confidence moving forward. I still have plenty of areas to improve on, but I'm not starting from scratch this year so I can use factors I've learned in Season 11 to help me in the future. I'm sure Oli will perform at a very high level again and I'm positive that together we can fight for the Teams' Championship.'
