WE all know that getting on the property ladder isn't an easy task.
It's led to an increase in people seeking alternative lifestyles, from converting vans to living in sheds, and now there's another option available.

Even tents can be turned into a luxury living space, and the Redberth Gardens holiday site has proven it.
Currently, there is a posh tent on sale at the camping site which costs an eye-watering £36,000.
And while the price may seem high for a tent, a closer look reveals why it costs so much.
The glamorous tent comes with a hot tub, outdoor cinema and an al fresco pizza oven.
The moonlight dome tent is located near the seaside resort of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales, and takes glamping"to a completely different level."
The incredible tent is fully kitted out inside with a fully working kitchen and giant bathroom with a waterfall shower.
The tent has been decorated in a sleek and modern design, using natural wood and black finishes to add a touch of understated glam.
And outside is just as impressive, the tent features a patio equipped with a large hot tub to enjoy summer evenings.
There's also an outdoor kitchen with lots of storage space and a pizza oven for entertaining guests.
Sean Roper, of South Wales-based Paul Fosh Auctions, is selling the tent.

He said: "Accommodating a maximum of four guests, with one double bed and a sofa bed, the dome has a private shower room and a fully fitted kitchen.
"It's served by an enclosed external decking area with outdoor furniture and sunken seating area with projector screen and swing.
"There's also an ice barrel and a very useful al fresco pizza oven.
"This turnkey investment is being sold with all internal and external furniture and fittings, including a quite awesome sunken hot tub.
"It also has a gorgeous seating area with a fire pit and BBQ for guests to enjoy.
"The property is fully managed and what's more there are onward bookings.
"As an example of what can be achieved with bookings for the moonlight dome tent last year generated £51,426."
And when you don't have guests, you can also stay in the tent and turn it into the perfect tiny home.
Most campsites do not offer residential living so you will have to have a permanent address elsewhere and vacate the tent every few months or so (depending on that particular camp's regulations).
The tent is listed for sale at Paul Fosh Auctions from 12pm on May 20 to 5pm on May 22.
The rise of tiny homes
By Jonathan Rolande
Property expert Jonathan Rolande told Fabulous: The reason we are seeing more creative ways of finding a home: super-high property prices and rents. Younger people are remaining in the family home later in life to avoid paying high prices and to save for a deposit. With increasingly busy lives, staying within a larger family group makes sense, chores such as gardening and housework can be shared.
Garages are rarely used for their intended purpose as cars are far more reliable and less prone to rust and so are perfectly happy outside. On the other hand, the amount of property space per person has been shrinking – converting a garage can make great sense.
Things to consider. (the boring stuff)
Usually easier than building from scratch but still a lot to do to turn a garage in to a habitable space.
You'll need to check if you need planning (more likely to be required if the garage is detached).
Building Regulations stipulate many things to make homes safe and secure. Consider
Walls, are they cavity?
Roof height
Windows
How will you get plumbing, electrics and drainage connected
Insulation – it will be cold!
Fire safety
Damp proofing
Also consider if, by converting, you are adding or deducting value from the main home. Garages can add value in busy urban areas where parking is limited.

Travel enthusiast's night on sleeper train leaves viewers shocked by one detail

The travel and food content creator boarded the train from London to Penzance on their overnight service but viewers of his journey were left stunned A sleeper train to your destination is an efficient way to make the most of your time away. Boarding in the evening and having a night's sleep before waking up where you need to be means no wasted waking hours. ‌ And one man who tried out this way of travelling and documented it in an Instagram video is George Kimm. He is a UK based food and travel content creator who posts under @george_in_london. ‌ George boarded the sleeper train from London to Penzance and said he was going to give an honest review of the service. ‌ But his followers were left stunned by one thing and that was the price he paid, reports Cornwall Live. George had bought a small solo cabin on board the Great Western Railway (GWR) locomotive which was leaving from London Paddington to Penzance in Cornwall. GWR's Night Riveria service takes around eight hours to arrive. George said his cabin was 'very cosy' but that it had what he needed. The cabin has a single bed, a table that doubled as a sink, a wardrobe, and under-bed storage, which he found "very useful". GWR also provided some amenities, including soap and bottled water. While the toilet was located outside of his room, George reckoned that GWR had 'really thought of everything else'. ‌ The London-based content creator added: "Before we left London Paddington I had a look in the onboard bar where you can sit down, relax. They also provide free tea and coffee with biscuits and when it comes to going to sleep, I actually had a really good experience." After getting settled and having a look around, George watched the train depart from the station before heading to bed. He revealed that he loved the sounds and motion of the train, as they helped him fall asleep. ‌ When George awoke the following morning, he had breakfast, which was included with his cabin. He chose a cup of tea and a sausage roll, commenting that it was 'very delicious'. The travel enthusiast added: "And it was so lovely to have my breakfast whilst watching the countryside whizz by." But when he shared the cost, viewers of his reel couldn't help but comment. ‌ George said: "My ticket cost £119 and an additional £149 for the cabin." George believed it was "such a cool experience" falling asleep in London and waking up in Cornwall. He felt that it was "honestly so worth it" and something that he would definitely do again. ‌ The Instagram post has garnered an incredible one million views, thousands of likes and more than 400 comments. One user highlighted: "£75 return to Paris, just saying." George responded: "Totally get it. This was a bucket list trip." Another commented: "Looks fun but the price is insane." A third amazed viewer questioned: "Omg... how much?" Someone else even branded the price as "criminal." Despite the steep price, some viewers found a silver lining. One remarked: "This looks like a great experience but it's very costly for a return journey. I guess the benefit is both journeys are during the night so you aren't losing out on any holiday time." Another chimed in: "Would love to do this! ! Honestly would see the cost as part of the holiday, so special." Great Western Railway Night Riviera passengers can snag an airline-style seat at no extra charge when they book a ticket for the train, with prices for a single cabin starting from just £49 per customer.

Man takes London sleeper train - but price of 'tiny solo cabin' has people floored

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info A bloke who documented his journey on a sleeper train from London to Cornwall left social media users astounded when he disclosed how much he forked out for his tiny solo cabin. George Kimm, a UK travel and food content creator, set off on an overnight trip from London to Cornwall via the Great Western Railway (GWR) Night Riviera, documenting his adventure on Instagram. Setting off from London Paddington, the service reaches Penzance the next morning following a journey of just over eight hours. The travel buff shared his honest assessment of the expedition, but it was the price tag that left his Instagram followers flabbergasted. This comes after photographs reveal the most affordable seaside destination in England is packed with deserted £40k properties 'nobody wants'. George secured himself a "very cosy" single cabin aboard the service, featuring a single bed, a table that served as a washbasin, a wardrobe, and storage beneath the bed, which he described as "very useful". GWR also supplied various facilities, including soap. He noted that the loos were situated beyond the cabins, but apart from that, he believed the rail operator "really had thought of everything else". The London-based content creator continued: "Before we left London Paddington I had a look in the onboard bar where you can sit down, relax. They also provide free tea and coffee with biscuits and when it comes to going to sleep, I actually had a really good experience.", reports the Mirror. After settling in and exploring his surroundings, George observed the train pulling away from the platform before retiring for the night. He disclosed that the rhythmic sounds and gentle swaying of the carriage actually assisted him in drifting off to sleep. Upon waking the next day, George enjoyed his complimentary breakfast that came with his sleeping compartment. He opted for a cup of tea alongside a sausage bap, describing it as "very delicious". The travel enthusiast remarked: "And it was so lovely to have my breakfast whilst watching the countryside whizz by." He wrapped up his Instagram reel by disclosing the total cost of his adventure, stating: "My ticket cost £119 and an additional £149 for the cabin." George considered it "such a cool experience" nodding off in London and awakening in Cornwall. He felt it was "honestly so worth it" and something he would certainly repeat. The Instagram clip has attracted an astonishing one million views, thousands of likes and over 400 comments, Cornwall Live reports. One user pointed out: "£75 return to Paris, just saying." George replied: "Totally get it. This was a bucket list trip." Another remarked: "Looks fun but the price is insane." A third stunned viewer asked: "Omg... how much?". Someone else even labelled the price as "criminal." Despite the hefty price tag, some viewers managed to see the bright side. One commented: "This looks like a great experience but it's very costly for a return journey. I guess the benefit is both journeys are during the night so you aren't losing out on any holiday time." Another added: "Would love to do this! ! Honestly would see the cost as part of the holiday, so special." Travellers on Great Western Railway's Night Riviera can secure an airline-style seat at no additional cost when they purchase a ticket for the service, with fares for a single cabin beginning at just £49 per passenger.
