Alcatel V3 Ultra key features revealed

GSM Arena21-05-2025

Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G will mark the French brand's return to the smartphone world. The phone will be announced on May 27, and today, its key specs were revealed on a dedicated Flipkart page.
The phone will have a NxtPaper display and support for a stylus, which will be in the retail box. Its design looks awfully familiar, and that's because Alcatel V3 Ultra is just a new name for the TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper.
The V3 Ultra will have a 6.8 Full HD+ screen with Max Ink Mode for low battery consumption and long hours of reading. Technically, the phone works just fine in this mode; it's just that the colors are black and white.
The device has a special Nxtpaper key that changes modes quickly. There are four of them — full color, color paper, ink paper, and max ink — with varying colors and refresh rate.
The rear will carry a 108 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP camera combo, and Alcatel did not even change the writing on the back – it still says "ultra pixel" like on the TCL.
Alcatel will sell the phone with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and we know the chip will be Dimensity 6300. This is a huge contrast from the 50 Pro, which has 512 GB of storage.
The big question is how much the Alcatel V3 Ultra 5G will cost. TCL announced the 50 Pro for €299 in Europe back in September, which is about INR 29,000.
We anticipate the price in India will be significantly lower, as this marks the brand's first product release in four years, and Alcatel aims to establish a positive relationship with its fans.

Alcatel, led by Madhav Sheth in India, made a comeback to the smartphone industry a few days ago. However, Sheth is also leading NxtQuantum Shift Technologies as its founder and CEO, which will launch a new smartphone under the AI+ brand in India by the end of June. There's no information available about this AI+ smartphone's specs, and the brand has only confirmed that it will run NxtQuantum OS, which we hope will be based on Android 15. Made in India, not just to work, but to be worthy of belief. #BuiltForYou@NxtQuantumOS — Ai+ (@aiplus_official) May 30, 2025 We should hear more about this AI+ smartphone as we inch closer to its launch.
