Taking to the review section on the Tesco website, one customer said: 'Advertised as new, only thing new is you get 4 instead of 6!! For the same price. Disgusting!'
Another commented: 'Stop reducing how much is in the packet and charging the same price!!!'
A third noticed the difference in pack size: 'Taken 2 bars out. STILL SAME PRICE. Were 6 now 4. Disgraceful.'
Someone else shared: 'Was a six pack now a four pack for the same price, a third less chocolate, unacceptable shrinkflation'.
The Sun explained that another pack of Cadbury chocolate bars – Freddos – had reduced from five bars to four as well as Cadbury Dairy Milk multipacks which went from nine bars to seven.
Lib Dems call for customers to be told about 'shrinkflation'
The Liberal Democrats want government legislation amended to legally require large supermarkets to inform shoppers when the quantity of goods within a pre-packaged product has decreased thereby increasing the price per unit of measurement.
Discontinued UK sweets/chocolates
Details of the changes would need to be attached or placed alongside the product for a 60-day period, according to the amendment tabled to the Product Regulation and Metrology Bill.
Supermarkets would be forced to tell their customers if they want them to 'pay more for less' under the proposals designed to tackle 'shrinkflation'.
Digestive biscuits, butter, crisps and chocolate bars were among the items found to have decreased in size while their unit cost increased, according to 2024 research by Compare the Market.
Cadbury told The Sun: 'We understand the economic pressures that consumers continue to face and any changes to our product sizes is a last resort for our business.

'However, as a food producer, we are continuing to experience significantly higher input costs across our supply chain, with ingredients such as cocoa and dairy, which are widely used in our products, costing far more than they have done previously.
'Meanwhile, other costs like energy and transport, also remain high. This means that our products continue to be much more expensive to make and while we have absorbed these costs where possible, we still face considerable challenges.
'As a result of this difficult environment, we have had to make the decision to slightly reduce the weight of our Cadbury Dairy Milk Little Bars multipacks so that we can continue to provide consumers with the brands they love, without compromising on the great taste and quality they expect.'

Cadbury has confirmed it's discontinued a much-loved biscuit treat - just five years after it first launched. The chocolatier has discontinued its Bournville fingers, a crispy biscuit treat coated in dark chocolate that fans raved about. The dark version of the Bournville fingers were first introduced in 2020 and earned high praise because they were less sweet than Cadbury's other finger varieties, which include milk chocolate, white chocolate and caramel. But now, only five years later, they will no longer be on shelves in order to 'meet changing tastes'. Mondelez International, owner of Cadbury, said in a statement: 'We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and our business. 'Our Cadbury Bournville Fingers were discontinued this year. However, we still have plenty of other delicious products for consumers to enjoy, such as our Cadbury Bournville Giant Dark Buttons and our classic Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Fingers. It's sad news for dark chocolate lovers, who have given the chocolate biscuits glowing reviews over the past five years. On the official Cadbury store on Amazon, Bournville fingers have a 4.5 star rating out of five stars. One buyer wrote: 'Absolutely lovely flavour, I suggest you hide them in the fridge so no one else can get to them, before you.' Another fan, who is located in the US, said: 'These have been my favourite since I was a little girl in England. I'm so happy to be able to get them over here now! They're crunchy with chocolate coating - it's easy to eat half a box without realizing!' On Asda's website, customers also left rave reviews under the Bournville fingers product page. 'I used to enjoy the regular chocolate fingers but since I've tried these I'm a convert!' one reviewer said. 'They are soo delicious especially with a cup of tea, and because they aren't as sweet as the usual chocolate fingers, they are also very moreish! Would recommend for everyone!' However, about a year ago, vegan fans of the biscuits realised milk had been added to the ingredients list as a potential allergen. Many were disappointed by this development, and took to social media to voice their thoughts. Customers have given the chocolatey biscuits glowing reviews since they launched in 2020, but just five years later, they are being discontinued On Reddit, a customer said: 'I haven't eaten them since they added milk to the ingredients list. Even if the recipe never changed, if the cross contamination is bad enough milk needs listing as an ingredient then for me it's not vegan. 'But I am gutted because I absolutely loved them! I have never bought the Cadbury's Plant bar because I don't want to reward them for what they've done to Bournville... but if they made chocolate fingers with the plant bar I would totally buy those!' Another added: 'I don't eat them. 'May contain' exists for potential cross contamination so as far as I'm concerned, there is milk in them as it's listed as an ingredient. I loved them too!' Last year, Cadbury customers were also devastated when the company officially said it would not be bringing back the Spira bar, which was discontinued in 2005. The highly popular confectionery, known for its semi-hollow twin bars molded in a spiral shape, which offered an airy, crumbly, and smooth texture, was first introduced in 1984. But in a statement to Sky News, a spokesperson for Cadbury said: 'We continuously adapt our product range to ensure it meets changing tastes whilst supporting growth for our customers and our business. 'Our Spira bars were discontinued several years ago but we still have plenty of other delicious sharing bags for consumers to choose from!' But the silver lining for chocolate fans came when they started spotting Cadbury Dairy Milk Shortcake Biscuit chocolate bars again. The bars were discontinued in 2008 but fans revealed in May that they've spotted it in B&M stores across the nation.

New Ikea click and collect lockers to be introduced at Tesco in Kilmarnock
Shoppers will be able to pick up a range of products from the lockers. New Ikea click and collect lockers are set to be introduced at a Tesco in Kilmarnock. The lockers will be based at the Tesco Extra West Shaw Street store where an existing clothes donation and recycling point is based. Shoppers will be able to order a range of products from the Scandinavian homeware and furniture firm, when the lockers are built in the car park. Ikea installed its first batch of UK lockers last year with the service now being rolled out across the country. Bosses had applied to East Ayrshire Council for permission to install the lockers and related illuminated signs, both of which were approved with conditions by planners. A report on the application reads: "The proposed lockers will measure 10.2 metres long, and 2.6 metres wide (3.37 metres inclusive of the roof overhang/canopy and signage. "The lockers will measure 2.24 metres high (3.12 metres high inclusive of the signage). They will be of aluminium construction and painted externally in a mixture of grey, yellow and blue. "The lockers will feature a user-interface touchscreen on the front elevation, and an integrated overhead canopy."
