Buttler challenges Lancashire to win biggest T20 games
the "big prize" if they want to claim only their second T20 Blast title.
Buttler top-scored with 77 in Lancashire's win at old rivals Yorkshire at Headingley on Thursday to secure a top-two finish in the North Group with one match to spare.
That guarantees a home quarter-final in September as they chase a spot in Finals Day at Edgbaston later that month.
Since the competition began in 2003, Lancashire have qualified for the knockout stages 18 times, but their sole success remains in 2015.
"We've been a really consistent team but we haven't won the big prize enough," Buttler told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"We have to find a way to win and the quarter-final is our next challenge."
Buttler and Liam Livingstone are the only players left at Lancashire from their T20 Blast title triumph
a decade ago.
The Red Rose have been back to Finals Day on three occasions since then, but have won only one game out of four on the biggest domestic stage.
They have avoided a trip to South Group powerhouses Surrey and Somerset by finishing in the top two and can look forward to one more game at Emirates Old Trafford.
"Lancashire has a history of playing well in T20 cricket," Buttler added. "We've had a really good side for a number of years so it's important we can make the most of that.
"We've got a really good team and it's important we drive that forward, try to get into Finals Day and go all the way."

Thiruvananthapuram, July 20 (UNI) The grand launch of Federal Bank Kerala Cricket League (KCL) Season 2 will be held today. Kerala Sports Minister V. Abdurahiman will officially inaugurate the event at Nishagandhi Auditorium at 5:30 pm. As part of the ceremony, the Minister will unveil the official mascots of KCL in front of a packed audience comprising cricket fans, invited guests, and the general public. The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has announced a public contest to name the mascots, with special prizes for the winning entries. Adding to the excitement, star cricketer Sanju Samson and emerging player Salman Nisar will launch the official fan jerseys for Season 2. A special video tribute featuring Salman Nisar's helmet, symbolic of Kerala's historic entry into the Ranji Trophy final, will also be screened during the event. The Minister will then flag off the KCL Trophy Motorcade, which will travel across Kerala as part of the league's promotional campaign. Following the official proceedings, popular music band 'Agam' will take the stage for a live performance starting at 8:30 pm. Admission to the launch event and the concert is free for the public. Zimbabwe beats Namibia to qualify for 2027 Rugby World Cup
Kampala, July 20 (UNI) Zimbabwe's national 15s rugby team, the Sables, has qualified for the 2027 Rugby World Cup after edging out arch-rival Namibia 30-28 in a thrilling final of the Rugby Africa Cup. Led by captain Hilton Mudariki, Zimbabwe sealed their ticket to the global tournament - set to be held in Australia - with a spirited performance at the Mandela National Stadium in Kampala. The closely contested first half ended in a 16-16 stalemate, but the Sables returned stronger after the break. Tries from Godfrey Muzanargwo and Brandon Mudzekenyedzi, along with flawless conversions by Ian Prior, pushed Zimbabwe to a commanding 30-16 lead. Namibia, however, staged a late comeback with two tries and a conversion, narrowing the deficit to just two points. The iconic Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Center) came alive this morning as 2,600 participants converged to push their mental and physical boundaries at HYROX Delhi, India's second edition of the world's fastest-growing fitness race. The electric atmosphere amped up as top cricketers Riyan Parag, Harshal Patel, Ravi Bishnoi, and Anuj Rawat teamed up for the relay—pushing their limits in a format that was as intense as it was exhilarating. 'Being part of the HYROX event in Delhi was a whole new kind of adrenaline rush. As cricketers, we are used to pushing our limits in training and on the field, but this experience tested us in unexpected ways. Teaming up with Harshal, Ravi, and Anuj for the relay was an absolute blast — full of camaraderie, friendly competition, and a lot of learning. Events like these, where sport meets community and culture, are so important in today's fitness space. I am really glad I got to be part of it,' said PUMA athlete and cricketer Riyan Parag. Part of the global HYROX season, the Delhi race witnessed a whopping 62% increase in participants compared to the inaugural edition in Mumbai, underlining the virality of the format.
