‘American Idol' Music Supervisor & Husband Found Shot To Death In Their Los Angeles Home
Los Angeles police told Deadline that officers were called to the home on White Oak Place at about 2:30 PM Monday on a welfare check after the couple had not been seen for several days. Officers found both with fatal gunshot wounds to the head and they were pronounced dead at the scene.

'We are devastated to hear of Robin and her dear husband, Tom's, passing,' an American Idol spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. 'Robin has been a cornerstone of the Idol family since 2009 and was truly loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. Robin will remain in our hearts forever and we share our deepest sympathy with her family and friends during this difficult time.'
No motive has been determined, an LAPD spokesperson said. Detectives from the LAPD's Valley Bureau Homicide Division are investigating the deaths.
According to her IMDB page, Kaye had worked on 288 episodes of American Idol as music supervisor from 2002 to 2023. Her other television credits as Music Supervisor included the NAACP Image Awards, Miss USA, Miss Universe, Lip Sync Battle, Hollywood Game Night, Q'Viva , The Dance Scene, Dance Your Ass Off, Your Chance To Dance, Adventures of Power and Crashed, among many others.
She appeared in a 2019 episode of The Pop Disciple Podcast. According to her bio on the website, Kaye began her career working for Waylon Jennings in Nashville, eventually joining MTM Records as Vice President of Artist Development. After two years as an artist manager at Sound Management in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles and following a brief stint in music publishing, joined the Film & TV Licensing department at Universal Records. From there she went on to PolyGram Records, where she ran the combined Film & TV Division until its sale to Universal. In 2000, she launched her own company SyncroniCity, initially representing labels and artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Kenny Loggins, Lang Lang, Donnie Osmond and Steven Bishop. The company then segued to focusing strictly on music supervision for music intensive shows, such as American Idol.
She also served as Vice President of the Guild of Music Supervisors.

Scott and Kelley Wolf have been banned from discussing their divorce with their children. The former couple - who have Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and 11-year-old Lucy together - split last month after more than 20 years of marriage and earlier this week, they reached a temporary agreement which set out provisions around custody, visitation, finances, and communication, with the Party of Five actor's temporary restraining order against his estranged wife also dismissed. According to documents obtained by People magazine, Scott has temporary sole physical custody of the kids, while Kelley has been granted "liberal" supervised parenting time, which will be coordinated by the pair's lawyers. In addition, Kelley will be allowed three supervised video or phone calls per week with the children during "reasonable waking hours" and can respond if her kids initiate additional contact. If a court-appointed guardian raises any concerns, all parties must reevaluate whether supervision remains necessary. According to the agreement, neither party is permitted to discuss adult issues, the divorce, or the kids' relationship with their other parent in front of or with the children, and Scott and Kelley are also barred from making disparaging remarks, either verbally or in writing, and cannot interrogate their brood about what happens when they are with their other parent. The agreement also includes a social media stipulation, which means neither may post about one another, their marriage, children or the divorce, nor allow any third party to do so. Scott will keep exclusive use of their Park City home, and Kelley's parenting time may occur there but only with mutual agreement on a supervisor, and she is otherwise barred from the property. The 57-year-old actor will retain control of marital funds, covering household expenses and will also provide Kelley with $10,000 a month for living costs, as well as her car payments, minimum payments on credit cards and some of her legal fees. Days after news of the former couple's split was announced, Kelly was admitted to hospital under an involuntary 5150 hold - which is described as "a critical intervention used to detain individuals who are considered a danger to themselves or others or are gravely disabled due to a mental disorder" - but was discharged days later and insisted she was "fine". In a post on Instagram, she wrote: 'I'm fine, y'all. I'm happy. 'No mental illness. No addictions. Just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150 and went on a 1st DATE 2-night. So nervous! OMG!' The former couple married in 2004 and Kelley recently insisted she is "happy" and "ready to begin again" after her split from the actor. She wrote on Instagram: "Love makes the world go round … And in the times you feel heavy … KNOW … you are special. Peace is a state of mind. "And your mind is all that can tell you otherwise … I love you all and I am HAPPY. And that's okay … it's okay to hold many things at once. "We are dynamic … and I am ready to begin again … "

UFC 318 results: Dustin Poirier loses final bout to Max Holloway, bids emotional farewell
Not many, if any, fighters get the farewell party Dustin Poirier did Saturday in New Orleans. While the storybook ending didn't take place at UFC 318, Poirier (30-10 MMA, 22-9 UFC) retired at Smoothie King Center with his head held high. After his "BMF title defeat by unanimous decision to Max Holloway (27-8 MMA, 23- 8 UFC), Poirier signed off in front of his home state crowd." "I feel loved by the fans, Louisiana, and the company," Poirier said in the cage, before an emotional tribute video played for him. "I didn't know I'd touch as many people as I did just by chasing my dreams." The scorecards were 48-47, 49-46, and 49-46. Poirier overcame being dropped by a Holloway right early. The moment audibly sucked the energy out of an arena that was riled up by Poirier's grand introduction – one that included the presence of Louisiana-bred rap legend Lil Wayne. A shot of adrenalin would inject back into the arena in Round 2, however. After Poirier sustained another knockdown, he turned the tables on Holloway and put him on the canvas with a blow of his own. In true Poirier fashion, he hopped the guillotine. Holloway rolled and escaped, however. Round 3 was a strong showing for Holloway, as the two fighters continued to get the other's timing down. Round 4 was closely contested, as was five. Over the course of 25 minutes, the dance never really paused. Both men went tit-for-tat, in a controlled yet nerve-racking way. In the final seconds, Poirier accepted Holloway's signature challenge to stand and bang, though the Hawaiian appeared to get the best of the exchange. Poirier, 36, retires as one of the most violent, exciting and popular fighters in UFC history and he will likely find himself in the promotion's Hall of Fame. He won the interim UFC lightweight title in 2019. Outside of the cage, his charitable contributions to his community and beyond earned him the first-ever Forrest Griffin Community Award from the UFC. Holloway retains his "BMF" title and bounces back from a knockout loss to Ilia Topuria. He moves to 4-1 in his most recent five fights. The bout avenges two prior losses to Poirier.
