1. A hypoallergenic neck and chest Gold Bond cream so your skincare routine can now include a multitasking moisturizer that's designed to help firm up skin, visibly improving texture and elasticity.
2. A beloved tub of pink cleaning paste for performing small cleaning miracles on virtually any surface in your home without endless, abrasive scrubbing. Try it out on those "forever" stains other solutions could never handle.
Promising review:"Found this product on TikTok. I don't think I've ever seen value like I do with this product! Literally, use it on EVERYTHING!! Kids and teens have dirt, grime, and grease on their walls? This will make it look like a new paint job. Baseboards need some love? A pea-sized amount of this makes them look brand new. Need a shoe cleaner? PERFECT for sneakers. I could name a million more uses, but I can ASSURE you this is worth every penny. What's more? You need so LITTLE of this product that it will last a VERY long time. Thank you, TikTok!!!" — Rachel in CLT

3. A battery-operated fabric shaver because it'll help rescue well-loved knits from the horrors of aging — lint, matted fibers, and pilling, oh my! It's like a tiny vacuum; just empty the detachable lint catcher when you're done and enjoy your revitalized sweater.
www.amazon.com
Also, be sure to pick up two AA batteries! They're not included.
It kills me inside when I see a favorite sweater start to pill, so I bought this exact shaver to spruce up some of my older knits. It's great and weirdly relaxing. When I first got it, I was de-pilling everything, from the intended sweaters to the throw pillows on our couch. It's a little loud, so your roommates may or may not come out of their rooms to see what you're doing...but it's totally worth it to make any pilled fabric look years younger.
Get it from Amazon for $13.99+ (available in five colors and two styles).
4. A cruelty-free Essence Lash Princess mascara if you're tired of getting excited about mascaras that never live up to their promises. This one is different — or at least according to the 260,000+ 5-star ratings.
www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I tried this mascara for the first time in 2020 after seeing it go viral on TikTok. It was too inexpensive not to try, right?!?! Well, let me just say how upset I was to find out this little inexpensive bottle outperformed EVERY expensive mascara I had ever bought. This is now the only stuff I use!" — Amanda Sims

5. Or a cruelty-free E.l.f tubing mascara to wrap each lash in a hug-like layer of elongating goodness, so you can enjoy next-level va-va-voom that says put allllllll day, yet is still easy to remove.
Watch on TikTok as one user goes from skeptic to believer!
BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord considers herself a fan:
"I am not a new human to the tubing mascara game, and in fact, I readily spent $26 on the famous OG blend from Blinc every time it needed replacing. I didn't even love it for the length half as much as the fact that tubing mascara like this genuinely never smudges, but can I just say — regardless of price, the E.l.f. tubing mascara formula blows all the others I've tried out of the water. It gives me way more length and volume than other brands, slides on so much more easily, stays put ALL day, and never, ever smudges. My favorite part, though, is how gently and easily it comes off with soap and water. In the past, other mascara removals have felt rough on my lashes, but this comes off so fast that I'm like ??? was I even wearing mascara a minute ago?? Anyway, I hesitate even writing this review because I want to gatekeep the hell out of this before it sells out, but the world needed to know. I'm a big fan of the brown shade (which is what I'm wearing above!), but it also comes in black and soft black."
Get it from Amazon for $7 (available in three shades).
6. A cruelty-free pet ear cleanser that boasts a near-perfect 5-star rating for gently (but effectively) flushing out built-up dirt so your furry friend's ears stay happy and healthy.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"My husband and I just adopted our cute puppy, Winston, from the Humane Society. When we adopted him, his ears were unfortunately pretty dirty, but after we used this ear cleaner today, his ears are so clean!! I'm so amazed at everything it managed to get out. Our puppy's ears look so much better now! I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a dog." — Jerome F

7. A mesh screen-cleaning brush so you can actually see through your windows instead of staring into an abyss of years-old slime and dead bug carcasses.
Promising review: "Our screens are on a second-floor balcony. There really isn't any good way to clean the outside of the screens. Luckily, the fibers on this screen cleaner are small enough that they seem to fit through the screen and clean both sides. I'm sure it doesn't clean the outside as well as it does the inside, but any help is always appreciated. I was actually shocked at how much dirt came off of the screens with this very simple tool. I used it wet with a small amount of dish soap, and it worked really well. I also appreciated that after I was finished I was just easily able to rinse and dry the screen cleaner for future use. A simple tool at an excellent price." — BonjourBeautyByAmy

Promising review:"I have the driest heels, and this is the ONLY product that has ever worked. Before I used this, my heels had some pretty deep cracks, and now they're almost baby-soft again. BUT please follow the directions. I left it on my super-dry, thick-callused heels for only three minutes, and the calluses were literally melting off! Wonderful product! www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I'd yet to find anything (even foundation) that could cover up my red areas. Cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead. It comes out green but has a gorgeous lightweight finish of a tint that, indeed, covers my redness beautifully. There's no greasiness to it at all. It dries down to a beautiful matte finish. It's super easy to use. I use my fingers. The texture is like silk. It leaves my face baby-soft, not sticky at all. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or wrinkles, and I don't need powder to 'bake' it under my eyes. It also covers the black circles under my eyes." — Julie F.
Get it from Amazon for $9.77 (available in six styles).
15. A suede and nubuck cleaning brush because anyone who hasn't accidentally got caught in the rain while wearing a pair of suede shoes is lying. Promising review:"I am very impressed with this product. I was new to suede shoes and instantly regretted buying gray-colored shoes once I got them dirty. Luckily, I found this lovely thing. Very easy to use, straightforward packet comes with it that tells you which sides to use and when. I would definitely recommend this since you invest so much in those shoes, you might as well keep them nice and clean!" — Celeste

Amazon, www.amazon.com
Promising review:"Simple but perfect. I recently mounted my TV to the wall, and now, directly below it, is my TiVo box. The red and green lights are bright and occasionally distracting. After applying these, I can still see the lights (so I know when it is recording,) but they are a lot dimmer now and way less distracting. Thanks for a great product. I've also used these on a bedroom TV that had a bright red light when it was off. Couldn't sleep because it bothered me. LightDims saved the day there, too." — RandomReviewer

www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I absolutely love this product. The dark color is perfectly sheer. It also adds the most beautiful color to your lips. I am a Clinique Black Honey lip fan, and this gives me the same look for a fraction of the cost. I love it and have multiple that I keep in various spots. Not sticky either, which is my biggest gripe about lip glosses. My hair doesn't get stuck in this like some glosses, but I get the shine." — Hamps5

19. A roll of self-adhesive toilet sealant tape that'll tidy up that worn-out caulking in any room with ease so you can stop procrastinating and finally free yourself from that eyesore.

Promising review:" TikTok made me buy this, and it is money well spent!! I'm convinced my beagle sheds a full coat of hair and regrows it daily! I use this on my bed every single day, and it blows my mind how well it works. Before this, I was going through 4–5 disposable sticky rollers a month and spending three times longer to remove dog hair. I am buying these for everyone in my family as Christmas gifts this year! ❤️" — tiff4short

21. A tomato knife so you can conquer the final frontier of competent knife work — slicing a tomato without it rolling away. Or worse! Getting squished...
Amazon, Mallory Mower / BuzzFeed
Promising review:"I love this knife! I stumbled upon a description when I was shopping for a sushi knife. It was so cheap, I decided to take a chance. Wow. It is such a great little knife. Yes, it works perfectly on soft tomatoes. But, to be honest, I use it for many other fruits and vegetables. It is amazingly sharp, the serrated edge is very effective, and it has a great feel in my hand." — Jane S.
Get it from Amazon for $14.75.
22. A wire slicker brush for reviving your beloved faux fur rugs and throw blankets to their former fluffy glory since there's approximately zero room in the budget for a suitable replacement.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"Where have these been all my life? We purchased a couple of beautiful charcoal-gray (dyed) sheepskin rugs for both sides of our bed. It used to feel really nice to get out of bed and set your feet on them. But after many years and a couple of dogs, my reaction to putting my feet down is, 'Ew. What the heck did I just step on?' Because of the dye, we can't just wash them or get them too wet. And I'm kind of lazy and forgetful. (Meaning, I've been thinking of taking them to a dry cleaner for years — but how much will that cost?) After our puppy had an accident (the worst kind of accident) on one, I knew I had to do something. I cleaned up the 'accident' as best I could, but that left the spot feeling dry and crunchy. I decided to try one of these wire wool brushes. HALLELUJAH! It took some muscle to brush each rug thoroughly, but wow, not only did it re-fluff and revive the wool, it pulled up a lot of loose dirt and anything that was stuck to the fibers." — Renee
Get it from Amazon for $17.99.

24. A concentrated marine conditioner if cloudy water infiltrates your fish tank even with regular cleanings. Your betta deserves the best, and this solution works in both fresh and saltwater tanks to remove chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals typically found in tap water while keeping slime at bay.
www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Ideal to use for both freshwater and saltwater tanks! Just pour one capful for every 200 liters of new or replacement water. For best results, add it to new water first. For smaller volumes, use 2 drops per gallon.
Promising review:"Works SO much better than other dechlorination products because it also helps neutralize ammonia in the water. I ended up with a very beat-up, half-dead Oscar fish, and I was using a basic water dechlorinator. After several people suggested Seachem Prime, I started using it to manage his water while I waited for his tank to cycle. Combined with really big daily water changes, adding this helped him perk up and start eating again. Now he's all better — and I'll never use anything else in my tanks again. This stuff is literally a lifesaver." — W. Demore

25. A Briotech spray reviewers have used to soothe inflammation of all kinds, from angry piercings and acne to stubborn rashes and rosacea. It uses hypochlorous acid, an ingredient found naturally in our white blood cells, similar to the much pricier Tower 28 spray.

Note: This product has newer packaging that you might receive instead of the older bottle shown above!
Promising reviews: "I've been using this hypochlorous acid spray morning, night, and after the gym, and I'm honestly amazed by the results! Since I started using it, I haven't had any breakouts, and my skin feels so much clearer and calmer. It's gentle but effective, and I love how refreshing it feels. It's also great for post-workout, keeping my skin clean and refreshed after sweating. This has definitely become a staple in my skincare routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their skin's clarity and health!" — Amazon Customer

26. A plant-based stainless steel cleaner that'll remove (and prevent) the streaks, smudges, and grubby fingerprints keeping your appliances from living up to the "stainless" in stainless steel.
www.amazon.com
Therapy Clean is a family-owned small business creating plant-based cleaning solutions (that just so happens to also smell amazing!) from their very own factory in New Hampshire.
It also comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth!
Promising review:"We got this product because, while stainless steel appliances look so nice when you first get them, as soon as you start using them, you get fingerprints galore. All of the 'home remedy' tricks we tried were annoying or so labor-intensive as to be overly frustrating, so this product has been wonderful. It takes only a few minutes to clean all the appliances and make them look brand-new again — great for when company comes over and you want to pretend like you always live in a magazine spread for a home rather than the comfortable way you normally do :-)" — Anton Stocker
Get it from Amazon for $19.95+ (available in two sizes).
27. A multipurpose cleaning gel for exorcising nasty stains that haunt the forgotten corners of your home. You know, the ones you've never ever cleaned, like silicone sealants in your fridge and washing machine, corner grout, and window tracks. Just apply to a dry surface, let sit for 3–5 hours, then rinse away!
www.amazon.com
Promising review: "Very satisfied. I tried everything to remove black mold with no success. This product actually worked to remove the black mold. I applied the gel to the mold and left it to sit overnight. I was amazed the mold wiped off with a rag." — Robin S. Johns
Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in four sizes and a two-pack).
28. A painless, mint-flavored teeth-whitening pen because traditional strips are expensive, take forever to see results, and can leave you with teeth sensitivity that is, in my professional opinion, NO fun. With this pen, you can get noticeable results fast. And the best part? No lingering sensitivity.
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I bought this on a whim when I saw someone review it on TikTok. After using it several times over the course of a week, I immediately noticed the difference in the color of my teeth. I'm a smoker and a heavy coffee drinker. I'm finding that this product will be a lifesaver in terms of what my smile looks like. I would definitely recommend!!" — Mully
Get a two-pack from Amazon for $17.95.
29. A magic anti-humidity spray — essentially an invisible raincoat for your hair that'll keep styles intact for daaaayyyyys. It coats strands in an imperceptible layer of water resistance, meaning beads of water just roll right off. And results should last through several shampoos, meaning less styling for future you!
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"I can't say enough good things about this product. My hair gets so frizzy when it's humid, and living in South Florida, it's a constant problem. I bought so many products over the years and nothing worked until WOW Dream Coat. Trust me, buy this, and you will not be disappointed." — Caitlin
Get it from Amazon for $12+ (available in two sizes).

www.amazon.com
Promising review:"It is very uncommon for me to write a review, but this product is amazing. My family's silverware had not been polished in the 15 years since I married my husband. The only time I ever polished anything before, it was messy and smelly and took forever. Therefore, I didn't have any interest in polishing something that we weren't using. I decided to try these wipes because the price was reasonable. They are easy to use and do a wonderful job! The silverware looks silver! I used four wipes to polish a service of eight, and it took me about 20 minutes. I highly recommend this product!" — Kehrli

Millennial Saves Y2K Clothes—Makes Discovery 20 Years Later: 'The Scream'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Internet users have taken a journey to the past as a woman shared a newly released clothing collection and compared it to her own wardrobe from close to 20 years ago. Jenna Barclay, 38, a millennial online content creator, lives in Los Angeles and has been taking a trip down memory lane as clothing brand Hollister released its 'Y2K collection'. The limited-edition collection includes "Y2K-inspired" baggy low-rise denim jeans, strapless babydoll tops, denim skorts, fleece shorts and more, according to the Hollister website. Barclay told Newsweek: "The Hollister 'Y2K' collection looks like it should've been called the '2006' collection because I owned nearly all of these items when I was a freshman in college in 2006." When she wears them, "it's like looking in a weird fun house mirror. I feel like I'm looking at my former self—but a version of my former self that isn't quite right, because I'm obviously no longer 19." But Barclay said, "at this point, seeing clothes I wore as a teen just feels normal." She added: "Nearly every trend I loved as a kid and a teen has come back around—often with pieces looking almost identical to those I wore, just styled differently!" Jenna Barclay tries on new tops from the Hollister collection, left; and, right, her own outfit in 2006. TikTok @jennaabarclay In a video to her TikTok account @jennaabarclay on August 8, Barclay describes "the scream" she let out when she saw the collection, and tries on several newly bought items. This includes what she describes as a navy "iconic super deep V to show off your lacy cami, super long arms for no reason, cable-knit sweater"—also showing off her original item from 2006, this one in a bright pink. Speaking of lace camis, Barclay bought plenty of those, too—which she recalled wearing with a Hollister button-down and demin skirt, "to drink cheap beer at a college party in 2006." Barclay said the clothes reminded her of buying a new Fergie CD, having drinks in the fridge for "pre-gaming later," adding friends on Myspace, and taking selfies with a digital camera. Barclay said she still has "a ton of my old clothes" from that era, with the rhinestone miniskirt being one of her favorites. "I remember wearing it on spring break in college with a babydoll tank top that was almost as long as the skirt," she said, "and plastic flip-flops, of course." TikTok users loved the blast from the past, awarding it more than 17,000 likes, as one commenter wrote: "I decided this collection is my midlife crisis. So I bought like $200 worth of clothes and I'm shocked they all fit and look cute." Another posted: "I didn't have Hollister money in high school, so it is taking EVERY ounce of self-control not to use my adult money to buy everything from this collection." "I'm still obsessed with this sweater," a third said—while one commenter added that they were "tripping on the fact you can still fit in the clothes you wore in 2006!" "Pretty much all the fashion trends now remind me of the '90s or the 2000s," she added. "Teenagers are carrying digital cameras or even disposable ones. They're into 'low-tech' stuff because they've never known an offline world, so it's novel to them in a way we can never understand, having lived it." From fashion and makeup trends to pop culture and general cultural attitudes, Barclay said that "it's inevitable that trends will come back around." "At the end of the day, there are only so many different cuts of jeans, you know what I mean? They'll continue to go from super-skinny to super-baggy and back again over and over for as long as we live," Barclay added. "But it's super-strange the first time you realize you've lived long enough to see it come full circle." Do you have funny and adorable videos or pictures you want to share? Woman Told She's Getting Miniature Poodle—2 Months Later Realizes Mistake

Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A woman who thought she had brought home a miniature poodle puppy quickly realized something wasn't quite right. The woman, who posts to TikTok under the username @poodlediariesvlog, shared a clip on June 28, holding up the new puppy she got from a breeder in Atlanta, Georgia. She asked simply: "Does this look like a mini poodle? This dog is literally so huge." Sure enough, two-month-old puppy Ace already looks almost as big as full-grown miniature poodles, who as adults weigh up to 15 pounds, and grow up to 15 inches tall, according to the American Kennel Club. And while the puppy does appear to have a curly golden coat, the woman said that when she took Ace to get his shots, the veterinarians told her straight out: "This is not a miniature poodle." "And I'm like, 'oh that's crazy, because the breeder said it was,'" she said. She was then told that it was likely Ace is "some type of Doodle," a poodle crossed with a different breed—and so she asked TikTok for their opinions. And users responded in their droves, watching the video close to 200,000 times, as one predicted Ace was actually a Goldendoodle, while one thought: "Girl that's a golden retriever." One urged everyone to only buy purebreds that are AKC registered, which "ensures the poodle is full-bred." The AKC permanently records a dog's place in their breed history, providing an official AKC Registration Certificate, and adding to the world's largest database of dog DNA profiles for parentage verification and genetic identity. This ensures reliable registration records, according to the AKC website. Other commenters pleaded for the woman to still keep and love Ace regardless of his breed, as one put it: "You got a much better beautiful." Ace and his owner. Ace and his owner. TikTok @poodlediariesvlog The mystery of Ace's continued for weeks, until on July 24, she posted another video declaring: "DNA results are in." And it revealed that Ace is not a full miniature poodle, but a mix of a toy or miniature poodle, and 10 percent cocker spaniel, making him a cockapoo—as well as, she wrote, "100 percent a good boy." For those worried Ace wouldn't be wanted as he wasn't a full miniature poodle, they had nothing to worry about. Instead, he's still a loved, pampered pet, and they even got a second puppy named Nala, a poodle, with their TikTok account now filled with the two dogs growing up together.
