Axios 報導 Meta 已任命 Meta 高層主管 Connor Hayes為 Threads 的負責人，這對僅推出兩年的 Threads 屬一個重要的里程碑。一直以來 Threads 都是由 Instagram 負責人 Adam Mosseri 所主導，而想開 Threads 帳戶的話是需擁有 Instagram 帳戶才可。突顯出兩者的連帶關係。不過自 Threads 社群快速壯大後，現時每月活躍用戶數已超過 3.5 億人的情況下，慢慢趨向獨立，有自己的成長方向是正常不過。Adam Mosseri表示，Connor Hayes 上任後仍會向他報告，畢竟 Threads 仍然屬於 Instagram 團隊的一部份，但考慮到 Threads 的發展已成熟，他們認為現時需要一位專注於推動 Threads 向前發展的獨立領導者。換人領頭的 Threads 會走向怎樣的變化的確令人期待，或許會更快帶來不同的功能，而演算法部份也勢必會有一定程度的改變。
