Huge blow as Rangers told only a ‘FAIRYTALE OFFER' will be enough to seal key transfer target Dor Turgeman
TOP TUR-GET Huge blow as Rangers told only a 'FAIRYTALE OFFER' will be enough to seal key transfer target Dor Turgeman
RANGERS transfer target Dor Turgeman has been labelled a 'football beast' by current boss Zarko Laztic.
The Light Blues have been watching the forward for months now, but the Serbian Laztic has warned Rangers they will have to spend big to get their man.

But the move could rely on one, or both of Hamza Igamane and Cyriel Dessers being sold

He was quoted saying Maccabi Tel Aviv would only sell the 21-year-old if a 'fairytale offer' was made, according to Sport1.
The Israeli international bagged 20 goals last season as well as six assists, which put Rangers on high alert.
Rangers already have EIGHT new faces at Ibrox, as well welcoming back four loanees, with Russell Martin making his mark on the squad before the Gers crucial Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos.
Turgeman is said to want the move to Rangers, but it all hangs on Rangers letting go of one or both of Cyriel Dessers and Hamza Igamane.

Lille are not giving up on the Moroccan, whilst Rennes and Everton have reportedly entered the frame for the striker.
Rennes have already lost ex-Celtic hero Kyogo to Birmingham City this summer, and now look likely to lose star man Arnaud Kalimuendo so will need to bolster their front line and are considering Igamane, according to footmercato.
David Moyes has lost Dominic Calvert-Lewin from his squad too, so he will also be looking to strengthen his Everton sides attacking options, and the same report claims Igamane is a target.
It looked to only be a matter of time before Igamane joined Lille but Rangers held firm in their asking price.

The player is said to be keen on the move away from Ibrox too.
He scored 16 goals in 46 matches for Rangers last season, notably a late winner at Celtic Park against their city rivals in the first derby with away fans since the lockout, which the Light Blues won 3-2.
Rangers hero in with fans at Celtic game
Nicolas Raskin and Mohamed Diomande also scored that day, with the midfield pair also attracting interest and could also net the Gers a hefty fee.
However with Rangers Champions League qualifier just days away, it seems unlikely any big moves will happen before the key first-leg.

Hayato Inamura and Kieran Tierney spark Celtic's attacking evolution
We should always be wary of reading too much into friendlies, especially those like in the case of Celtic's 4-0 win over Newcastle United where one side is significantly further into their pre-season preparations. Nonetheless, even allowing for the inevitable disparity in conditioning between them and their Premier League opponents, there were insights to be gleaned as to how the Scottish champions may plan to attack the sterner tests ahead. Last year, even as Brendan Rodgers' team won another double, came within a penalty shootout of adding the Scottish Cup and made a decent impression in the Champions League, they often faced supporter frustration for the sluggishness of their build-up play and the apparent prioritising of possession over penetration. It could appear an odd charge in the context of a Premiership campaign that brought 112 Celtic goals, but Rodgers himself had acknowledged a desire to add more attacking options even before Nicolas Kühn's move to Como followed the January departure of Kyogo Furuhashi.

And a deal for the central midfielder is expected to be completed 'in the next 10 days', with Euro giants Ajax and Udinese also credited with an interest. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Andrej Bacanin is being trailed by both Rangers and Celtic. Image: FK Cukaricki Bacanin, 18, is a highly-rated prospect currently on the books of Serbian Super League side FK Cukaricki – but was left out of their league opener against Napretka as transfer speculation rises. Sporting director Vladimir Matijasevic revealed that Bacanin and defender Vojin Serafmovic are both expected to rake in millions for the club in the coming weeks. Bacanin is the one of the two more in demand, with Matijasevic claiming both Rangers and Celtic lead the queue for his signature. He told the Cukaricki website: 'There is a lot of interest in our young players, and currently the focus is on the transfer of Andrej Bačanin. 'He attracted the attention of numerous clubs by playing for our team last season but also for the Serbian national team at his age. 'We had calls from the Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, Ajax, Udinese, and some other teams are interested. 'It is possible that some other options will appear, and I expect the transfer to be realized in the next ten days. "I expect that this will be another big outgoing transfer of Cukaricki, which would cover the budget of our club.' The Serbia under-19 cap is valued at around £430,000 (500,000 Euros) by football data specialists Transfermarkt although a transfer bidding war could see that price tag rise dramatically. The player was talked up glowingly last year by a Serbian football scout – who compared him to Bayern Munich's young star, Alexsandar Pavlovic. Edouard to return and Schmeichel's last year at Celtic Plus Munteanu LATEST They wrote on X: 'One of the most intriguing young midfield talents we have is 17-year-old Andrej Bačanin. 'A true midfield controller - the type of player our senior NT lacks and who could become a game-changer for us in time. 'A capable passer with both feet, including first-time passes. 'Mostly played short and medium passes here but has that range too. 'Comfortable with his back to goal, progressive, a line-breaker when possible.
